Fortunately, my mom got a green card in her first interview and they didn't questioned her a lot.
However they didn't let me go inside of the embassy though I am American citizen. Also, they are so streaky about taking pictures.

Not enough evidence of my daughter's birth to show my mother and father-in-law to come to America?!? They brought a doctor's note, an ultrasound, besides several other documents, and the Armenian consular reviewing their Visa application refused to look at the evidence he was accusing them there was not enough of. This is the bureaucratic BS that goes on at the American embassy in Armenia.

The telephone inquiries are almost impossible. I have tried repeatedly to ask a question about a visa application and I have not been able to talk to a live person. I wish they clean-up their act. I was expecting much more from my country.

Hello, Embassy staff won't see the question you wrote and probably won't answer. But I'll try to briefly document what you need, even though you may already be in America)))
1) 2x5x5 photos
2) Passport (no ID card)
3) For men also a military brochure
4) If you work, then reference from the workplace (this will be considered an advantage).
5) If you are leaving for treatment, you will need to provide the details of the physician to whom you should undergo treatment.
6) The amount of money spent on treatment and a statement confirming that amount (bank accounts).

Remembering I have written, I will add more if there is any news.

I like the atmosphere.

I like the atmosphere.
Library is cozy and there are a lot of useful books to read.

We had a urgent need for notary while my mother was visiting Armenia for the first time in over 30 years. My mom didn t know how to get an appointment or who to call. I had to call from the U.S. and I was SO lucky to speak to Anahit from the notary department. She was just amazing, she helped me make a appointment for my mom. This review is for her to say how professional and great she was. Thank you very much for your help. I wish I could give you a hug in person but I can only give this great review. Thank you x 10000

Friendly people, some American nationals, and short wait times, though recommended to make an appointment beforehand. As with all international areas, please be polite, straightforward, and don't push. Just get in an get out for the best experience.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PICTURES OF THE EMBASSY AND ON EMBASSY GROUNDS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. I made the mistake of taking a picture of the American flag from the road with Mt. Ararat in the background, and was held for 30 minutes and asked to delete the photo.

You have to be honest to people. My friend, an Iranian citizen won the Visa Lottery program and was schedule for an interview to Yerevan's American Embassy. He even inquired about which medical center he can go for required medical visit. He paid for visa for him and his familiy also for transportation, acommodation and medical exams and vaccines required by American Embassy. He spend the equivalent of 2 years sallary in Iran and the American Embassy rejected his visa saying that Iran is part of those 8 country Mr Trump banned. Schedulling him for an interview knowing that they will reject his promised visa is lack of respect for an human being and purely hummiliating. He was advice to try and apply again for visa lottery in the hope that the ban law will change.
Why did you, gentlemen, stoop so low by making this people pay for a dream that was never meant to become true?

OK.
