I have traveled global and this is the best hotel experience ever. Staff is top shelf, professional yet friendly and inviting. All this while enhancements (renovations) are happening. If you want a stay that makes you feel like royalty, food is great hotel is amazing in history it is well worth visiting even if only for a day.

The Biltmore hosted an antique car auction which the public may attend. It was fabulous. We have stayed at the Biltmore a few times and have loved each time. Impeccable service and fantastic surroundings!

Delightful experience at the Arizona Biltmore which is a Waldorf Astoria Resort by Hilton. Excellent full service resort with more than 700 rooms. At least 5 restaurants on the property ranging from In room dining, Cafe, Wrights Restaurant, Frank and Alberts, and the poolside restaurant. Several swimming pools, tennis courts, Spa and Fitness center. The Lobby Lounge...Wrights Bar with a piano. Gorgeous views of the mountains, impeccable landscaping. Beautiful fountains. The HISTORY of this resort is amazing. By all means, take the historical tour! Great Valet staff and Front Desk Employees who really do care about the Guests. There is so much more to this resort than what I can possibly include in this review. The resort is celebrating it's 90th year in 2019 (this year).

Historic hotel with beautiful gardens all around. The building architecture is one off and amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, making for a overall pleasant stay.
The rooms are remolded very nicely, keeping the historic feel while still being luxurious and comfortable.

The workers were very nice and helpful. The service was great. The buildings were kept up and outside maintenance was up to par. The pool was clean and bid so there was no running into anyone. All in all it was a great experience.

A Beautiful, Serene, and Comfortable Oasis to Spend Time Thinking About Nothing.

After I checked in, I strolled the grounds to my room and was immediately put at ease. Everything you look at, from the buildings to the landscaping is orderly, clean, and pleasant. You should have nothing to worry about, except figuring out how to retire early and enjoy what the Biltmore and Phoenix has to offer. The room was extremely spacious and well-light by the outside light; same with the bathroom, you and another person can easily take care of business, simultaneously, in the morning. I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony. As you can see in the pictures, it is very large and, if you're lucky, you will get a beautiful view of trees and small mountains. I recommend adding a small table for folks who want to dine outside on the balcony. The grounds and amenities make it so you have everything you need within the complex. If I'm ever back to Phoenix, I'll be coming here to stay again.

- first checked in, front desk staff said they didn't have my room available so they would upgrade me, the upgrade was really just a downgrade from 1 King (which I originally booked) -> 2 Queen. Nothing about the room was an upgrade other than the extra long walk where my original room would've been
- confusing self parking signs
- leaky faucets
- wifi is horrendous
- asked for early check in by calling in, extremely rude phone operator, couldn't commit to a yes or no answer.

I took my niece and sister in law for a High Tea experience and it was one of the best experiences I've had. Service was beyond impeccable, food was perfect, tea was wonderful and Kevin our tea sommelier made our afternoon more magical and delightful. His service, knowledge, descriptions of our food and tea is what made our high tea afternoon a day we will always remember. We can't wait to go again.

What needs to be said about this historic resort in Phoenix? Rich in history, with excellent service and experience. The resort has a multitude of resources for the active lifestlye; walking, running, hiking, golf, swimming, and more!

The Arizona Biltmore history tour is the one the most unquie attractions I've experienced at a hotel. Our tour guide had vast knowledge of the property and took us through the architectural and historical aspects of the building. The building itself is a work of art and worth while attraction even if you're not staying at the hotel.

The architecture of this place is very nice and the grounds are very pretty. I only gave it 3 stars because it is very easy to get confused about where you are going in this resort and how to get there. Prepare to walk a lot. Also the wifi is terrible. I stayed in a cottage that was clean and the bed was comfortable but overall the cottage felt old and tired. The food is very expensive so if you are going to eat at the resort, bring a lot of money. Many of the people that work here are very nice, genuine and good at what they do and I appreciate that. I stayed for business, and would not choose to stay here as a personal trip.

The worst service we've experienced in four straig...

The worst service we've experienced in four straight years of coming here. Originally booked a cottage with fire pit, but a few days before our trip their website showed an Ocatilla Premier King room was available. We even called the reservation number and changed to an Ocatilla Club Premier Deluxe. This was the type of room we had stayed in each of the previous years. When we show up to check in we are told they don't have the type of Ocatilla room we were told was available. The kicker, the room they gave us already had people in it. We literally walked in on a room already occupied.

In the end we are given the cottage with fire pit and are told to just call the front desk to have someone light it. Well, I am currently sitting in cottage 5126 as I write this waiting for over an hour, two calls to the front desk and our fire pit has yet to be set up.

Only reason for two stars is my fiancee enjoyed her spa treatments so far.

Try to avoid.

Try to avoid.
I had PREPAID reservation there in end of May 2014. Reservation made by travel agency and international company GTA.
When arrived at hotel, at first they told, that they can not find my reservation and that's it.
Finally they find it (for next morning after lot of complains from my side).

After 3 months they charged my CC again for the already PRE-paid amount.
Getting that money back -- very long story.

When checked out, I did ask can they post some postcard for me. "Yes, of course" was standard answer. Only thing, that NONE of the postcards never arrived.

Arrogant property, not good service.
By my current experience.

A beautiful property, perfect for a fall break family getaway. The restaurants on property were excellent, we ended up staying there for meals more than we expected. If your only plans are shopping and dining you can skip the rental car and just do ride share. We went into old Scottsdale a couple of times, and to and from the airport and spent less than $200 on ride shares, a fraction of a car and parking. BEWARE there's big time construction going on through early 2020. It's reasonably hidden and will be amazing when complete but does detract from the overall experience. A special shout out to Ruben at the front desk and Michael and Susan at Ocatillo, thanks for making our stay amazing!

Iattended this Arizona School Board Assoc. annual meeting and stayed 2 nights at the Biltmore. Items been lovely!
When I first started here I'm 2012 I was quite disappointed. Not this time. The rooms are recently beautiful renovated with peaceful and soothing colors and fabrics. The bath had exceptionally good lighting. Everything about the room is wonderful.
I've sad several banquet meals and the good had been delicious - not an easy thing when serving 500
Check-in and out had been easy with plenty of staff on hand. All staff have been especially friendly and attentive.
This had been a GREAT stay!

Used to be such a wonderful place to see and be seen. Last visit was a complete 360. Place was a dump, staff was like they were all on drugs, smelled like raw sewage in the lobby as well as the only restaurant/bar that was open at 3pm. Will never go back or try again. So sad. Such a beautiful place just gone down the drain

Nice but worn out. Paradise building stinks and the hotel hallways should have AC installed. Don't let the FLW inspired building designs keep you from seeing how worn out the place is. Why pay so much?

Really cool, different place to stay! Upon checking in, they gave us a signature key/bottle opener as a token of appreciation. While staying there, Get the signature tequila sunrise as often as possible, it is a great drink with a great history! Due to the renovations this summer, we got a great deal, but unfortunately the main building was closed. The staff made up for it with golf cart rides you could request via text, as well as any other need which was nice. It felt like I was staying back in time during a hot and hazy summer of the 1960s or something. The pool was great with a really unique slide, and the smaller side pools were nice as well. My only negatives are that the breakfast buffet seemed quite over priced for what it was, and we had to call to get ice in the cottages (which could take a while).

I will never stay here again. Way over priced for what you get. The parking garage was a hike and nobody tells you until its too late. Customer service rates at a zero! Terrible and will not be back.

Resort is beautiful as usual, Ocatilla staff is excellent as usual. Our favorite resort ! Only item keeping from 5 stars this time is the Presidential Suite. Love rooms all over the resort but this one does not deliver for the money for several reasons. Will still visit as often as we can but will not choose this suite again. All other suites and villas we have stayed in are worth the money.

Incredibly disappointed by pool and spa construction that was never communicated until check-in. Construction isn't to be completed until Spring 2020 - beware. If you are anticipating visiting a luxurious pool and spa, it currently doesn't exist. There are smaller pools around the property but are impacted by quite a bit of shade and are small. (The tile work around the pools is beautiful.)

There is also a great deal of construction around the main area near the fire pits that wasn't communicated. Traditionally this is a gorgeous property with stunning views of Camelback but not right now. Had we known about the renovations we would have booked our long weekend elsewhere.

It's a beautiful place. I was visiting with a friend of mine and the aesthetic is unbelievable. It is legitimately like walking in to a movie. The only slight criticism I have is that it takes a moment to get noticed by staff (but this could've been due to conference visitors checking in).

Welp, that was the shortest staycation of our lives, lasting all of 2 hours. My family and I checked in at 4pm and had to check out at 6pm due to the lack of air conditioning and a scorpion in the room. We MAY have been able to deal with the heat if we didn't have a newborn in the room but I would have been a crazy mom if that scorpion bit my little one.

Since I booked the hotel through Priceline, they were unable to give me a refund up front but said that all I needed to do was call Priceline and they would call the hotel to refund the money. Anyway, they offered us a voucher to dinner but to use only within 24 hours...lame. The manager didn't even come to the front to speak with us and apologize for the bad experience that we had.

Not sure why this hotel gets such great reviews because I don't see what the hype is all about. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again.
