Sushi is on point. And it's great to be able to sit at the sushi bar and watch them make your order. Sometimes can get a little hectic with multiple wait staff taking care of one table

Fantastic food, nice staff, good drink selection, great hibachi chefs, clean and plenty of seating.

Excellent Food!!! Friendly service our group of 4 adults and 1 child had a great time. Our Hibachi Chef was a lot of fun and kept everyone entertained. Will definately be back if we get back to PA!

Wow, what a fun place to eat! The hibachi chef is good, the sushi is excellent, and our meal was excellent! We definitely would recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back! If you haven't experienced a hibachi dinner and show, it is definitely worth it, especially here!

The lunch special is a real deal, but today was the second time I ran for takeout for lunch and there is no yum yum sauce for my hibachi meal! I even asked the cashier if it was in there and she said yes she put it in. I also got no spoon for my soup, and had to slurp up mushrooms. There is little that is more disappointing than planning to enjoy this meal and having it foiled by lack of attention to detail! So annoyed!

BEST place for sushi, at an affordable price. The food here is delicious; and the staff that I know are friendly and very helpful. Eating in is fun; hibachi here is quite entertaining Take out is also fast and easy.

If possible I'd rate it zero stars. We went in on Sunday for the LUNCH hibachi special. They provided us with menus that had LUNCH specials on it. So we ordered the LUNCH hibachi. Once we were done eating we received our bill. They charged us DINNER prices and said we only do DINNER specials on Sundays. Then why would you hand me a menu with LUNCH specials and not correct us when we ordered the LUNCH specials. They charged us double what the LUNCH special price was and wouldn't even honor the LUNCH price on menu and on top of that the portions have got so small and they want more money. Total waste of money.

Would give this place more stars. Had a fun evening. Cook was very entertaining. Looking forward to next time.

We didn't have reservations but was still able to get a Hibachi table. They didn't have enough staff on to accommodate the customers. We didn't wait long for our cook, but we hardly got any vegetables, they got Gloria's order wrong. Otherwise, the food was good.

Waitress ahould be more educated abput the dishes. They were otherwise helpful and the dishes were good

Amazing japanese cuisine. A little bit difficult to find. Half price sushi every day until three pm. On Sundays it's all day. In house bar that is really nice! You don't't have to sit at a service table for hibachi which is nice too! All around delicious.

Its okay. Fun the first time, amusing the second time, increasingly awkward there after... Except for the flaming onion volcano on the grill - that never gets old

Best Hibachi within an hour drive in any direction,.. service is great. I have been many times for both hibachi and just lunch at a regular table, and the food is always spectacular and perfect! I usually have the Steak and Chicken hibachi combo with noodles and an extra side of rice, and an order of Sake! Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

The food is very good, but it seems very few of the servers speak any English...so if you have any questions, they probably won't be answered adequately.

We love going for all our Birthday dinner with the whole family. Everyone is wonderful, and very kind. The food is absolutely delicious and everyone always has a great time. Definitely our favorite restaurants!

The manager here is terrible. I ordered salmon from the manager who did not write my order down and the waitress brought me shrimp. I wasn't upset, just corrected the error. The manager came back soon and berated me saying I ordered the shrimp and she knew for sure that I had, but she would change the order anyway. I responded that I did not like shrimp so I would never order it, which my boyfriend agreed. Later she asked the table behind us a second time if they ordered salmon or not. A professional never blames the customer for their mistakes. The food was relatively good, especially the soup, and the servers, besides her, were very friendly. I will not return to a restaurant with a manager that is blatantly rude to their customers.

Service is very friendly, food is consistently good. We often visit for 1/2 price sushi on Sundays and their lunch menu is very reasonably priced, especially for amount of food. Dinner is more expensive.

Great place to eat. Love the atmosphere and the prices. The sushi is delicious, they also have half price sushi during lunch hours and on sundays.

Let me paint the picture. I walk up to this unassuming, hopefully 'expect the expected' establishment with my coworker after a long ride across a few state lines. We walk through the front door, admire some classic stereotypical decor, fake bamboo included, and are seated at an empty hibachi grill by ourselves. After we place our order, our chef makes his way to our table for a night to remember.
We glance back at the full table behind us, their chef is showing of some fancy knife tricks as he prepares their meals, the whole table is invested but quiet as they watch him work.
"This will be fun," my colleague noted. Fun was about to become very subjective.
"Hello beautiful..!!" Our chef greeted us.
He sprayed the griddle with oil and flames took over. We leaned back from the heat but could not lean far enough as he demanded "let me see those sexy mouths," and "open your sexy hole" as he poured sake down our throats and sprayed us with water.
My colleague's one request was to not have food thrown at her, so of course it was. She covered her mouth and told him she didn't want to catch food in her mouth. Both hands covered it as he pointed his spatula at her and screamed, hot zucchini on the blade, inches above her face.
He ultimately dropped it on her, bullesye right in the center of her eye.
After a hand full of equally inappropriate comments and looks from the other table, he concluded the performance and left.
If you're looking for a nice night to spend $20 on a sodium bomb of rice and sub-par meat, come on in. Looking for sexual harrassment, run on in baby!

Oliran is a wonderful place to go for the atmosphere and reasonably-priced sushi. However, if you ve got celiac disease (like me) or any gluten intolerance you have to be on the more careful side here. I m on the more serious end of the spectrum with how quickly/severely ingesting gluten negatively affects me. I love this restaurant, and you just have to watch with certain dishes that can be cross-contaminated.

Know what you can/cannot eat, and be careful even with certain condiments such as wasabi and ginger sauce that contain thickeners (usually wheat flour).

This place has got a great hibachi and sushi menu with tons of flavorful variety. The staff are friendly and provide quick service, a fact which I can personally attest to having gone here for years.

Just ate here for the first time, decided to go with the reviews. WHAT A FARCE! The server was so unfriendly and unprofessional !!! The food was bland and tasteless!!! Never going back and definitely not recommending it to anyone else. And I am Asian !

Nice atmosphere, engaging chef! The first time I experienced hibachi was with some new co-workers at lunch so we didn't get to have the full on experience... I will need to try again!

The food is delicious! Staff is friendly and hibachi is very entertaining. 1/2 off sushi special is great deal! Been here over 20 times and it never disappoints. Kids love it too!

I went there for a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. He said his scallops and pasta were good. I had the strip steak and lobster with fries. My fries were made 10 minutes before the rest of the food was even started ( hibachi). They were unseasoned and pale. The strip(?) steak was so thin I could almost see through it and the lobster was seasoned by pouring teriyaki over it. The service was worse than the food. We felt like they couldn't wait to get us out of there. We didn't even get to sit down let alone look at the menu before the waitress wanted to know what we wanted to drink. She brought the drinks then hovered over us until we decided on our food. The Hibachi cook barely acknowledged anyone. It's doubtful we will go back but if we do we won't sit at the hibachi grill. Maybe the service at a table would be better??

Awesome place to grab sushi. They have half priced sushi on Sundays. Their hibachi chef's are amazing!

Very pleasantly surprised. The food was much better than expected. My dad even enjoyed his hibachi chicken and noodles. My grilled squid was excellent. Even the sushi order by the table next to us looked good. Would order the spicy salmon next time.

Original Post: misunderstanding on my birthday, did not get to eat sushi on birthday, I really like sushi. Gave one star review our of spite and anger.

Edit: misunderstanding corrected. Love sushi still, eat lots sushi at Oliran few weeks after birthday, very good!! Upgraded to 5 star!

Disappointed. They need to do a remodel! It was so depressing...it was nice a couple years ago. Food was better then too. I had Vegetable Hibachi. It was good, but their food used to be great.

Love it. My friends and I go here all the time. Just wish they had like samplers for the rolls to try a bunch of different ones.

Went with a good friend who happens to be pregnant. She was craving sushi and can only have certain types and also got hibachi and garlic makes her nauseous. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way. I would highly recommend in a heartbeat.

The hibachi steak lunch special was spectacular the meat well done but yet still juicy and tasty. The noodles were well done and one of the best I ever had. As close as you can get to actually being in Japan. Well done!!!!!!.
