Argosy Casino & Hotel Review

It's a nice casino, called to make reservations for hotel and they told they couldn't. Come to find out they had me mistaken for another woman with the same name as me. I play the slots and they are too tight, wish they would loosen them up. Play with my card I never
win but when I play without my card I win granite not that much but win more without my card verses with my card and should be other way around.

Not really impressed. Rooms not at comfortable temperature. Showers are wonderful. Bed not nice.

Just don't eat there. My sister in law was hospitalized because of food poisoning from eating there. No response from the casino!

rooms of very nice I love the decor of this hotel they have a fantastic buffet breakfast and they had a all you can eat crab buffet that was just incredible my only negative of this hotel is that they don't have a pool

The casino is small. The bathrooms were not clean. The food selection at the brunch buffet was limited. The eggs were cold. Sad thing this was my favorite casino in Kansas City.

I love this place, unfortunate that it never loves me back I haven't won anything in over 2 years. Hubby won 400 today though.

My experience was a four-star because of the people I was around. The casino is starting to show its age a bit. I had become used to public places with no smoking, but shortly after I stepped into the building, I was reminded that there is an exception for a casinos. I go again next time someone plans an event there, but it's unlikely I'll initiate a trip there.

Bathroom was AMAZING....too bad the whole hotel smelled of smoke

Stayed at hotel couple nights from Morning to Wednesday. Upon checking in the room TV remote would not work. It took every bit of 10 min on hold to get the front desk to a answer the phone, was told maintenance would be right up. After 20 min wait no maintenance people showed up. Called back to front desk ANOTHER 10 MIN wait and finally 15 min later maintenance folks arrived with a new remote..Just in time to go to bed!! GREAT SERVICE 4 STAR REALLY!!

5 Stars to Journey steakhouse and spa

Changed my mind some what... at first I wrote I am currently staying here. The rooms are nice but once you are in the main hotel it smells like smoke. I was so disappointed. Went for coffee and the staff was so unpleasant, no smile and no help with what they had there. I just can t believe how bad that service was. I was really excited for our stay. But coffee is something I look forward to and dealing with a cranky barista just stinks.

After our whole weekend I do need to edit this comment. So yes the beginning part is true but the rest of the weekend was much better. We never went back to the coffee shop but...
The spa was amazing and friendly. The staff offered suggestions for our time there that were great. We ate at journey which had a great staff and an amazing experience... I would recommend the filet and have another person get the chicken forestier take the mushroom ragout from the chicken an add it to the steak. OMG amazing. And the chicken with the mushroom risotto. Yum. Hopefully this comment helps some of you.

Better than most casinos in town, Great buffet. Awesome staffs and dealers!

Overall positive experience. Reasonable drink prices, football on the screen and several dining options. Great parking, good northland location.

The breakfast buffet on Sundays is worth a visit. I cost about $20 a person including a beverage and tip. There are tons of pastries. You can get made to order omelettes and waffles.

Stayed the night on a whim with some friends, just to take a break and catch up. Had a blast on the casino floor, I was even up when we left, so thanks Hot Hits, we're cool now.

The rooms are not what they used to be, while they are still ok. They are not worth the money. The shower heads appear to be rusted. The Casino itself could stand to have more games. It is limited on the newer games always making them full. The buffet prices are ridiculous.

Our Christmas ritual has always been breakfast at Argosy Casino. I was very disappointed with the new hours. I usually enjoy my omelet but it was very greasy. They have also cut back on the food options.

I was in the banquet for a work function.. was amazing in executingthe handling at the banquet. The food, the drinks and everything. Highly recommended for work events.

Nice hotel, the casino wasnt overpowered with a cigarette smoke smell like other places.

Stayed for one night. Arrived a bit early, was hoping to be able to get a room a little earlier than the 4pm check in, with no luck. The staff all around were very helpful. The room was average, but the shower was Nice. Small casino.

To start withthe room was amazing! I had wanted to soak in a tub but there was only a shower. Only the most amazing size of my kitchen with 2 heads and a buiilt in seat. I did not want to get out. The beds were crazy comfortable. LAVISH. I stayed in trup towers back in july and this casino hotel i believe is the closest to it. The people on the game floor went above and beyond to help me find my way back to the hotel. ( its a circle i had a blonde moment). To top everything off..... I won 200$. And i lost 180$ so hey. Good times.

It's a Casino, of course it's nice. Hope is the driving emotion to go there. It is also why casinos are so fancy.

Good crab legs for the family. I'm not much for crab leg. Good variety of food, but a lot is redundant.

I have never been here I only go here for the BUFFET

My favorite Casino in KC. All the lastest slots and a lot of the not so latest for old school people. Friendly staff except for 1 bartender, you will know him if he serves you cause he looks grumpy and is short with everyone... He's got like manic depression issues. Poor guy.

Where am I? The drive in is confusing. The signage is confusing. The layout and aesthetics are confusing. The buffet is okay. The smell of cigarette smoke inside a building is jarring.

Its a really fun place when you have money. Im always broke unfortunately so i wish i had more slot play but besides that i have no complaints.

Not fond of this Casino mostly Asian themed machines. Not even one machine that I like to play everywhere else!

Had dinner at the Lucky Taco! Great food and service! The salsa bar is fantastic!

I thought that the Isle of Capri was the worst paying casino in the area. We have a new winner! Low infrequent payouts. The only machine paying was the atm which you will be at frequently if you stay more than a few minutes

Don't seem to have security as visible especially being I go a lot by myself late afternoon early evening. I don't feel safe.

Room was great, prices were cheap for the rooms considering it was a hotel and spa. Bathrooms in the rooms are awesome, double showers!
