My experience with Jazmine at the Independence Office was excellent. She gave me really good advice and ideas on how to find the perfect job for me and also, her beautiful personality came through over the telephone. I asked a lot of questions and she was very patient and kind with me.
Area temps ..........is still the same.
Rate reviewers need to know. Pay attention to interview questions. Area Temps has been around a long long time.
These women are very rude for no reason.They come off nice over the phone but if you say something.They disagree with they go back and fourth.Not reccommed to anyone trying to seek employment.Their's way better temp agencies you can register with for employment.
First time I ve ever used this company.
Worst experience in the Temp world I ve ever encountered. They had me on an assignment for 30 hours plus for 3 to 5 months.
Within the 5th week, employer cut one week out entirely. Second week was 20 hours then I was told no work for last two weeks in December.
Area Temps told me I could not depend on any temp position for hours. It s totally up to the employer. BUT - Area temps told me that Area Temps is my supervisor. They knew nothing about my cut hours etc. They depend on me the worker or the company to tell them!
Yet, THEY are my supervisor!
Area Temp supervisor then berated my behavior as unprofessional because I had to leave the position for some kind of schedule to rely on. This was right before Christmas.
I could not rely on this agency to stand up for me. They had no clue but told me they were my supervisor. The temp worker must sign a contract in Area Temp s favor. No company is going to buy out any clerical worker based on the terms.
Not a place for professional workers. Do not depend on them to support you when the company changes their terms and leaves you high and dry. But, they will point out that you must adhere to the contract.
One sided, profit driven and unprofessional agency. I ve never experienced this type of lack of courtesy. They are 100% right and I suggest you look at other agencies.
I would highly suggest not using them to find any type of permanent work. I have used many temp agencies and never had this total lack of regard for their employees . Rude, irritable and it s all about their profit/commission.
Read the contract and steer clear. Do not depend on their commitment to the workers who keep them in business. Good Luck in your endeavors. I d give them an F.
Bianca is the best!!!!!!! She listened to me and definitely found exactly what I was looking for, she placed me at an awsome company where I was hired quickly. I would recommend any and all persons seeking employment to call her at the Independence office!!
By far the WORST and unprofessional temp agency I've ever come across. They call for an interview, then take all your info. As if their going to send you out for a job and never do.......Don't fall for the SCAM. There are better agencies that actually find you employment but not including Area Temps.
They tell you to make sure to call and check in for jobs and when i do the lady says the total opposite that she would call me instead when she made it perfectly clear to "check in" was part of their explicit protocol. If I'm not fit for this type of thing then just say so and don't waste my time. These type of places are bogus anyway which is why I never go to them. They seem nice and say they can work with your traveling issues, schedule, rates etc. like it's legit but you end up receiving no response at all. However, my experience here was about a few years ago but still relevant to post this. Anyways, I make my money on my own now and these type of places are not worth your time and energy.
My experience with Bianca at this agency has been 100 percent positive She has always been extremely responsive and goes beyond the call of duty to find employment that fits my needs. I ve worked with many other agencies and none have compared to the service I get from her . I d give her 10 stars if I could
They sent me on a job where the trainer was creepy & weird (constantly staring/looking me up & down, asking about my personal life). I was also given incorrect information about the job itself. I showed up for two longggg shifts & it was absolutely horrible.
I called them on day three & informed them I would not be continuing with the job. They then took it upon themselves to call my emergency contact & all my former employees to bad mouth me. Talk about unprofessional & STALKER-ISH.
I do not recommend anyone use this staffing agency. I have requested a grievance form from another Area Temps location. They stated they receive many complaints regarding the Independence location & encouraged me to file the paperwork.
Bianca at Area Temps Independence is Fantastic! She is knowledgeable, truthful and has an infectious positive attitude. She gave me confidence to attain a great job by giving me enough information to make the decision. I was not pressured. And she continues to communicate whenever I need help. She really cares!
