This theatre is so small and cozy that you can never feel left out from the play. Beware of the restricted view seats but over all it s not so bad. I went to see Baba Segi and this wives at the theatre and definitely going back this month as the location and theatre is convenient

Although the seats in the Balcon section are a bit distressed for the angle of view, you are included in the game with the proximity to the stage, the ambiance is very good, it is very nice to have a bar section before and after the game.

As far as east London venues go, this one is very very civilised. I visited for a very specific DJ night and good gosh, the state of the lavatories were exceptional.

Feeling like I'd inadvertently been upgraded to a Business Class sleeper seat with British Airways I proceeded to leave my mark while revelling in (on) the post modern, all in one throne, washroom and sanitisation area. Formed from a single piece of flawless marble my limited stay in the bowels of the building were second to none.

An ample supply of sanitary paper and a cleanly seat sealed the deal. I can safely say I will be visiting the Arcala Theatre lavatories in the hopefully near future, for a well catered and welcoming experience.

Budget, ad-hoc sound system sturdy drinks menu. Probably quite nice for a theatrical performance

Went to see Ant town on Friday 4th September 2015. Thought provoking German play...with a fabulous cast of 4. Problems with parking but will travel by another means next time...and there will be a next time. Particlar impressed by the talent that is Mr Jack John Gordon. Keep up the inspirational work Jack.

Exceptional, 7 pounds to enter, but inside a concert, an atmosphere, highly recommended to go dancing Lindy Hop, it ends at 3 in the morning but then you can return by subway as the line that connects the nearby station is open all weekend.

We watched a really cool play names Scenes from 68 years at Arcola theatre. It's near Dalston station, depending on where you live you could take overground lines to get there. The theatre is a decent establishment, prices for shows are reasonable. There are some good Turkish restaurants around within walking distance if you want to grab a bite before/ after the show :-)

Really welcoming place offering the most diverse voices in London. Quality productions in an intimate converted building. Cutting edge toilets (and you'll just have to visit to find out what THAT means). Dancing on Friday lates. Book tickets early to avoid disappointment.

have had both great and bad experiences here. enjoy the atmosphere and location. not a 'normal' theatre crowd i guess. would see shows here again but wouldn't have high expectations on service via bar/front of house or box office

Visiting Arcola for our AlaTurka Company rehearsals. It is a part of Arcola's participation programm, opening its backstage doors for people from every direction.

For me this is West End glory
for people ordinary,
Relaxed entry opened it
even for extra ordinary
From being a hidden space
This has become a hip place
To meetup with friends
And make a joyful love story

Thank you Arcola
