You have to go on weekends, the artisans are present and the activities are very nice. A journey back in time from the Bronze Age to the Gallo Roman era. Beautiful reconstructions

Mooi opgebouwd museum met verschillende soorten woningen uit de prehistorie en romeinse tijd. Mensen die de ambachten vsn tien demonstreren ook aanwezig. Redelijk klein. Toch de moeite

A pleasant visit. I advise to wait for the guide who brings a real plus to the visit. The presence of craftsmen makes the visit even more lively.

Magnificent time travel to realize the time of a day. The children's camps are also fantastic. And the best part: the doors open for a weekend of experimental archeology.

A scandal to charge the full price on Saturday when there is no activity !!!! If we had known we would not have come ...... You could have made a different rate! And the mead is served in plastic flutes full of limestone stains and reused !!!! Positive point we had a guide to give us explanations. Go there on Sunday there at least there is entertainment and craftsmen.

Great for a good afternoon with family, couple or alone and especially very interesting to know where have come from.

Fantastic place, we take full eyes! It is very informative whether it is the reconstructions of houses, the museum or the exhibitions. To recommend without hesitation. Just a small downside because when I was there (at 3pm) all the places offering drinks and catering were already closed.

Friendly staff, nice and clean place. Instructive for adults and children. . Very insufficient parking, archaic sandwich oven, very slow. We will have to invest.

This open-air museum depicts the life of the people who have succeeded each other in the region, from the Neolithic to the Iron Age. The reconstructions were made on the basis of the results of archaeological excavations: you will see reconstructions of prehistoric houses, with mud walls and thatched roofs. The interior is arranged so that, if our distant ancestors returned, they could again settle there. At the turn of a Gallic house, you can also discover the Gallo-Roman period represented by a temple, a necropolis, a villa and a barge (flat bottom boat). Sunday in season, animations in the houses.

A journey in time quite exciting! The weekend of experimental archeology is a success.

We had a great time! I strongly recommend it for family moments. A trip to the past, we loved it. We will come back, surtt by nice time, this site is magnificent.

Unforgettable! We had a stunning historical change of scenery!
Our visit (all day) was prepared for our comfort. And the prehistorian workshops: Wow! To do!

This place allows you to take a trip back in time and return to Gallo-Roman times. Very nice reconstruction, easy parking, children's courses.

Very interesting. More than worth a visit. Advantages: smooth reception at the desk in perfect Dutch, Dutch information available, multilingual information boards, guided tour included in entrance fee. Minus, guide monolingual French.

First visit and certainly not the last. Magnificent, educational, animated by enthusiasts. A great experience.

We went to this place with a craze seeing the website but visiting the site very disappointed: nothing to see except the museum, no animation, sad, very very disappointed

Well maintained and well developed site, very few explanatory panels and especially no entertainment during the week even during school holidays, no refreshment bar (only on Sundays). Disappointing visit.

Magnificent little park, very different from what is "fashionable" elsewhere. Ideal for a school trip or a family trip with children (not too small). We learn there in a fun way. In addition, activities are organized during school holidays, all at a ridiculous price. A park like we do more.

The site lacks interaction and maintenance. The route ends with the Gallo-Roman villa and the building with the various exhibition halls of the remains, very interesting. Too bad, the houses, pottery workshop, bronze, as well as the boat are not maintained and there was no animation. Disappointing !!!!

Hello, I made a visit with the school and I really liked

Very beautiful site of archeology, and superb animations especially the big annual festival at the end of August. Well done...!

Very nice museum. You really walk through ancient times. You have all the types of huts that the first settlements consisted of ... On Sunday there are volunteers who show old crafts such as a blacksmith, baker, ... We also go every year to the "Beltane" fire (previously Litha since it is around midsummer night but that is a detail) always cozy and with nice music ... The Roman villa and temple is also quite interesting.

An excellent site with excellent guides and demonstrators, a playground. An ideal place to spend a few hours and a good educational outing.

Nice place to visit, nice setting and nothing like a good cervoise to quench your thirst.
