All the real review's are hidden under the fake/paid 5star ones. All this company wants is access to your account so they will always be able to get paid$ regardless & once they run into any issues with your account for whatever reason you will be cut off asap as long as they get paid that's all that matters to them. Also whatever problems the costimors have & there will be problems believe me there will be many of them you will be left to figure out yourself. seems like they only respond to there costimors on here to make it look like they care. If u like being lied to & some extra drama & stress added to your life then this is the company for you
I have been using Arcadia for about a year now and this has been one of the easiest and convenient ways to reinvest into the renewable space. Their customer service is great and trustworthy.
Guess it feels good to supposedly help the environment of our only Planet, but the cost of my electricity sure has not gone well using this service.
Update 6/20: My last bill was suddenly about HALF of what my bills have been running, so not sure what happened, but nice to pay a more reasonable amount while supposedly helping our only planet.
I've been a customer for about a year and a half now and everything has been great. It was super easy to sign up and I love supporting renewable energy.
I have been so pleased with Arcadia Power. I hesitated at first because you have to let them sign into your energy account, so I did my research and then decided to do it because I really wanted a way to contribute to cleaner power. It has been so easy, they pay my bill every month and I pay them. I had to watch the youtube video on renewable energy certificates and why this works to understand, but I'm glad to be doing my part in a way that is very easy!
Arcadia pays my National Grid bill for me and there is no difference in the service I receive.
I am very happy with my Arcadia Power account. My bills are very reasonable, I love the clean energy savings, and customer service and the Web Site are very customer friendly. I recommend them to everyone!

I was a happy camper with Arcadia for over a year UNTIL TODAY!!!
I got an email from Arcadia on Oct 1, telling me that my account had been closed with no other explanation.
I tried getting in touch with their support system via email and got no answer and could find no contact phone number on their support page so Googled the company and found a contact phone number there.
I called very frustrated because for over a year I considered myself a good customer and always seemed to have super help whenever I needed to contact them for anything.
Today I was told that they don't want my business any longer because I am too much trouble to bill.
When I originally signed up I inquired ahead of time about my managed balance with my delivery company and they told me plus it was in writing also that because of that managed balance I could only sign up for 50% wind and I was ok and they seemed to be ok with that.
Then they offered the addition of local solar and they allowed me to sign on to that also.
I always monitor all of my bills that have auto billing with variable billing amounts so when I got a bill one month that had the entire back total of my managed payment account I called Arcadia and we fixed it and I was assured there would be no further problem.
Then I get my account closed with no warning NOTHING!!!
And when I finally got through to a live person, I was basically told that I was too much trouble to bill so they didn't want me anymore but to come back and see them when I didn't have that balance any more.

Excellent service provided. Clean energy choices + auto pay via credit card with no additional fee. Easy to use website. Arcadia Power is a classic example of how a private entrepreneurial business can deliver value to the public. Oh, and my monthly bill is 15% less somehow too.
Simple to use and they are very responsive to help tickets. Plus they allow me to charge my bill to a credit card for the points - something my regular power company doesn't allow.
Despite my two star rating, you should join Arcadia. I am very critical and like to dig into things. If you just want to save on your power bill and feel that you are doing something for the environment, YES, sign up. They are trustworthy. The problem is with communications and transparency. It has taken me over a year to answer simple questions related to my allocation such that I could compare my benefits from this program with the option to put a system on my roof. It is not very clear what is going on and the numbers, but if you are not curious, then there is no need to worry. You just need to know that you are getting a percentage of the solar production credits not a percentage off your usage. If the allocation is sized properly, you will receive on average 10% off your usage. So go for it but do not think about it and you will be promoting solar. The only bad thing is that the developments still have to be brown fields (taking up space on the land) not co-located with existing human development like parking lots and mall roof areas. But overall this is win win. If you want to save some money, you will. If you want to reduce fossil fuels, this will do that. The amazing thing is you do not have to be a home owner, just have a utility bill so renters can save.
Arcadia power is reliable, easy to sign up for, and if you are interested in making a difference in the world, then you should use Arcadia Power.
I have asked how the cost of power is through Arcadia VS conventional power sources and have yet to get an answer.
My experience with Arcadia has been very good so far. At first I was not very sure, but gradually as time has gone by, my experience has been good. I have enrolled for auto debit and there hasn't been a single payment issue. And I have been referring my friends as well and getting all the rewards :)
Customer service for Arcadia is excellent. Outreach via email and phone is great and they are very available. As a student, I found the transition was painless and the rates are very reasonable.

I love the fact that I don't have to use coal or nuke-powered electricity, and I don't have to invest in a solar roof or urban wind machine. I go thru Arcadia, who hook me up magically to rotating wind farms throughout the US. They pay my electric bill, and I pay them a small fee, gladly! This way, we support the wind farms, too. So cool.
SCAM. I don't know how they got my info but they signed me up for a third party supplier for my pseg bill that I didn't want or authorize and I was paying double what my bill normally is.
From day one, customer service has been awesome in answering all of our questions. Great, easy to understand information both by phone and on web site. Credits we received through referrals were applied accurately. We couldnt be happier that this goves us a way to use 100% wind power at minimal cost. Thank you!

I switched over to Arcadia Power about 5 months ago and my experience has been great. I chose the 50% wind energy plan, so I'm paying the same price I used to pay for my electricity, but now I have the knowledge that some of my electricity usage is offset by clean energy. They also gave me $20 off my first bill after I switched over, and allowed me to set up auto-pay on my credit card. Con Ed did not allow auto-pay with a credit card, only through a checking account, so now I'm also earning reward points when I pay my bill each month. It's been a win-win situation for me.
