I contacted Arcadia by email and my issue was addressed immediately and I received a confirmation email in less than an hour. That's Great customer service!

Acadia Power is both clean/green and cost-effective. I couldn't be happier or recommend them more highly . . . and the customer service is great. They are an all around great company.

I believe in supporting clean energy__without putting it on my roof.

It's not hard being green with Arcadia Power. It handles the bills for me at no cost and in turn I invest in clean energy for free.

I like the idea, the first time we had a few billing issues (missed payments other issues). They kept resetting the password, then I would have to call the power company... Blah, blah... They told me it was system issue on their half, I closed my account because it became a headache. Rejoined, had another billing issue, decided something was wrong with our relationship, either I was not understanding them or when I rejoined they didn't communicate important information me, but then I had a double payment on my power bill. Which sucked at the time because billing was tight that month. Maybe if I didn't have the previous history I would not have been as upset. I think they are honest people, and when they get the computer stuff worked out will be a cool idea.

I like the concept and it doesn't cost anything for a 50% clean energy match. Going to 100% isn't all that much either. This is the best I can do, as I live in a condo, so it's not feasible nor could I afford to switch to clean energy.

Please do your own research on this company before acting. I try very hard to be as green as possible and I think company is just making our system worse. Instead of building more green sources of energy , they just purchase REC to give the customers a feel good response. This company could make a real change by putting up solar panels and wind farms, but they just purchase REC to offset your consumption. If they was too put more green power plants in operation it would drop the price of electricity and in turn make other companies go green. But they chose to take advantage of people who really want to make a change. Do your own research don't just listen to my rant.

I think I am cutting down my utility bills at least 30% or more. It s just fantastic and I can check my usage at the cool looking website. Additionally, I am using my credit card to pay, earning mileage simultaneously.

Used this service for years. Perfect and simple way to buy green energy with a slick app.

Great way to support wind or solar energy! Arcadia Power has been very easy to work with, even with multiple moves in the past few years.

I agree with the other 1 star review. I seriously had no insight into my rate. They sent no statements. They continually messed up my bill payment with BGE.

And now, in the midst of COVID-19, while I am trying to work full-time, homeschool my kids and deal with all the other craziness of this stay home life, I missed an email from them from 10 days ago saying they no longer have my account login info and they'd cancel my service if I don't get back to them.

No phone call. No letter. I missed the email and they cancelled my service. Now, I can't even login to see my statements or anything else. My account has been deleted.

And, somehow, my auto-pay with BGE got disconnected even though I have had that set up for years to with draw from the same bank account. Luckily, I logged into BGE and noticed it.

I'd love to help out the environment, but until their communication improves, I am out.

Woke up early to pay rent only to find that Arcadia Power stole $366 from me. I NEVER gave any permission nor did I request that they bill me. I pay my electric company directly and now Arcadia Power has caused numerous problems for me. I expect to get my money back ASAP.

I like knowing that renewable energy is being produced on my behalf to cover my use of energy.

Love the branding, interface, impact, all of it! I know trying to "offset" electricity use is a long shot and my subscription to Arcadia's services is making a small, small impact. But I'm happy to know that Arcadia still offers solutions and opportunities in their own way. Did not have any problems with their customer service either. Keep advancing!

If I could give this company less than 1 star, I would. I signed up with them and then could never get hold of them again. They say email is the fastest way to reach them- it takes at least 2-3 days. Their phone number just rings and rings and rings. I tried calling them several days in a row. When I received my first statement, I realized they were going to charge my credit card 3 weeks before my electric bill was due. WHY????? They are still not answering their phone and not responding to emails. I want to CANCEL this service.

This was the easiest feel-good solution I've ever encountered for people trying to be less of a burden on future generations. It's not quite enough, but it's a start. If you can't do anything else, you can do this. Full wind energy is affordable and less than that is free. There's no reason not to.

I have been a member of Arcadia since the beginning. I love knowing that my electricity is powered by wind. Everyone at the company are so helpful and friendly. I am so grateful to them for making this possible.

This company seems to have good intentions and seems to be doing their part in encouraging responsible energy usage and production. I would not dispute that. However, their billing practices are more complicated than simply paying your local power company. A representative I spoke with could not explain, in a clear way, why there was such fluctuation in my electric bill each month. He just kept mentioning "rebates" come some months and not others, and that he didn't know of any real formula for when to expect them. The monthly bill fluctuations were difficult to manage. I left this company because of this. I honestly don't feel like I was saving that much, if any at all, over just paying National Grid each month.

Excellent company that sources clean energy for you on your behalf. They can also shop for better prices for your energy supply in certain locations. I like the graphs they have to keep track of your energy usage and costs better than my electric company's. One thing they can improve is to break down energy costs by distribution cost and supplier cost.

Arcadia is user friendly, costs me nothing, and gives me a good feeling about my energy usage.

Allows me to buy clean energy at an affordable fixed price. Alerts me when I over use.

Great company to work with as they helped me make the transition to their clean energy very easily and their website and app are easy to work with as well. I have been in the holistic health field for five decades and I'm happy to see clean energy finally coming into the consciousness of the general populace. Thank you for your work and for the planet.

I love the fact that I'm helping to save the planet at NO EXTRA CHARGE to me.

They sent me an email my credit card was being charged but I was still paying my energy bill through my checking. Essentially I was being double charged and before my card was charged I reached out to get this resolved but was unable to. I reached out again to resolve this but Ashleigh was unable/refused to refund the charges. I requested to close my account and receive a refund for the incorrect charges and was again refused. This company desperately needs an external audit.

A small monthly amount can help produce sustainable wind energy for Tucson. You can have your TEP bill set up for payment with this. They are partnered with TEP to help Tucson live better.

The transition to Arcadia Power was easy, and I feel I am helping with the environment by using wind power.

Love Arcadia Power! It's a great way to invest in renewable energy without spending tons of money (you can even have a free account). To upgrade where they match 100% of your energy output into renewable energy is just 9 dollars! It's a really great resource and I feel confident in where I'm investing my (small amount of) money.

Google the company- as of April 2018 they are no longer GreenE certified, the third party verification organization that makes sure they are performing as they claim. Additionally, your electric bill may go down, but don't forget to ask them about their fees.

Not a customer yet just reading reviews. My question is if the power goes out will the Arcadia power stay up and running? We can not afford to lose power in storms do to sump pumps.

I couldn't be more happy that I switched. For 5 months my bills are half what they used to be and I am keeping my home 5% colder! Best of all I'm helping the environment.

We have had a great experience working with Arcadia power.

Do not trust these people to manage your power account. Deleted my account after a problem with my payment card but didn't bother to call or leave me a voicemail about the problem and all the emails went to junk. Thought I was on auto-pay and now owe hundreds on my power bill and am at risk of disconnection because they couldn't take the time to make a quick phone call and let me know. Claimed they did send a voicemail but I got nothing from anyone who identified as from Arcadia Power so if they did leave a message it was too vague to know what it was about.

Easiest thing I have ever done, Create an account for my Electricity and Boom there it is, every month the same amount is charged to my CC. Had a question and it was answered promptly. If your not getting clean energy, then your part of the problem. Arcadia is the way to go.

Arcadia Power has been an easy choice for me. I wanted a way to help the environment with little effort. Arcadia Power helped me do that!

NOT WORTH IT. PLUS the rep on the phone was so rude! i wanted to choke her! THERE HAS BEEN NO DIFFERENCE! Im better off going through my regular company. They aren't worth the line you call them on! They mess up your credentials with your regular power company and they get ALL of your notification emails.

Told me that my power bills would be lower and that I would get a$100 visa gift card for signing up. NEITHER HAPPENED! In fact, my power bills are higher! Don't trust this company! They won't even communicate with me!

I am especially pleased to report about the service I have recently received from your service rep, Angela. She worked through my issue systematically and efficiently without patronizing me. She is a very good representative, and will doubtless win more loyalty for you with your customers. She is a gem.

Arcadia was easy to switch to, is great for the environment, has important partnerships, and really came through for its users during the covid- 19 pandemic.

My family loves Arcadia. Our bill has been exactly the same as when we were using our regular utility co. We love the fact our electricity comes from renewables!

Arcadia power has been a reliable utility for us for the last three years. We are so happy with our ability to purchase renewable energy and make a difference for the environment.

It's super convenient. If you're a cheapskate it'll save you money on the 50% plan if you're in a deregulated power market. I guess you get referral credits, but all my friends are cats and they dont have money anyways

I'm on the premium plan and I've had no complaints. My bill went up, but I felt like it was fair karma after all my years of throwing aluminum cans in the garbage. It was easy to take that plunge, they give you a fair assessment of the increase so you can really make that decision reasonably. They combine your service bill from your local energy carrier (ie: Dominion Energy) that maintains lines, etc. with the actual price of electricity. I don't know why that surprises me, but the whole thing is super painless.

Also, love the informatics, gives you a great picture of just how much damage you can do the environment on a day by day basis.

Customer Service is awful, reminding me of the cable company and phone company. I will now cancel my Arcadia plan, just 10 days after starting it. You should also be aware that Arcadia charges exorbitant credit card billing fees. AND, Arcadia drafts your account automatically just a few days after the "real" power company reads your meter, whereas the "real" company would draft your account about 25 days later. Thus, Arcadia is making BIG bucks on the "float". This is important to know.

I had a problem re close together billing dates. Arcadia replied promptly and I was satisfied with the explanation. Customer service has improved tremendously since I first joined some years ago. I'm glad!

I've been using them for years. It's a nice way to pay for my energy bill using my credit card, and it supports green energy as well.

We use Arcadia because of the use of environmental concerns. I don t totally understand how it works but we pay a little extra fee for getting 100% sustainable energy (solar/wind, I believe). If our membership helps Slow down the destruction of our environment, I m all for it!

I signed up over a year ago and my bill is only $1 to $3 more than previous bill. It is worth it and a good feeling to do good for the environment.

I m happy to be working with Arcadia to offset my use of whatever fossil-fuel sourced electricity Dominion is pumping through the grid in my town. I wish there was an idiot-friendly explanation for how what Arcadia does actually works, that s been my biggest hang up is that I can t actually explain it in detail when I m trying to convince my friends to make the switch...

No problem setting up the payments and local electricity provider. I love that they're transparent and helping me make an ecological impact.

We are new Arcadia customers in 2016. Our experience since joining Arcadia has been very positive. We see no appreciable increase in our electricity rates and we are pleased to know that our electricity is 100% wind power generated.

There's no reason not to join. It doesn't cost you a penny extra to get started on their free option, and it supports clean energy that doesn't ruin our planet. Their bill pay has always been reliable 100% of the time, I get mileage on my credit card, and I don't even have to think about worrying if I paid it each month. I would recommend it to anyone.

Arcadia power has excellent customer service. They took quite a bit of time to explain to me exactly what they were all about and what to expect. I've been a member of theirs for about four months now and I still have questions periodically and they have no problems answering anything I ask

It was very easy to sign up with Arcadia. Most months I don't even hit the minimum energy usage in my 2 bedroom apartment so it's a very inexpensive way to have a large positive impact on the environment!

DON'T DO IT. Arcadia power is a mess and their customer service is lousy. They basically take over control of your utility bill and then prevent you from accessing the primary bill. Also, they don't work on weekends and offer very little support in resolving problems. I needed access on the weekend.

I signed up for this earlier in the year and was very pleased with the savings and the programs. The company overall seems quite decent and I was happy to be a part of their alternative energy source initiatives. My issue came when I was told I was REQUIRED to setup automatic bill payment. Now I am not against automatic bill payment, my insurance is done that way, but at a discount because of it. In this instance I was being forced to setup automatic payments on a monthly basis in order to be their customer. I understand that some people have issues with their bills and whatnot, but I have a clean track record of paying my bills on time. I prefer to look at my bills and make a payment from my bank so that I can track the payments myself, instead of giving someone else access to my funds to make a withdrawal. Remove the automatic payments and I would absolutely sign up in a heartbeat.

I would recommend. Better than dealing with Edison.

The perfect way to participate in renewable energy while not having physical equipment on your own property. You may own solar panels if you wish just for a very modest cost and in someone else's backyard.

Love, love this concept. I have been signed up for almost 2 months. From my end, nothing is different. The power is there as before.
I am however having a difficult time explaining the concept behind this conservation method to family and friends. I really do not understand where the sustainable portion of my energy is sourced and made possible by my signing up with Arcadia Power. I am buying wind farm credits? How does that work?
It would be great if an understandable explanation could be placed on your web page. I think I might then have a better chance of persuading my sceptical family and friends to join.

Been really easy to work with them. They even gave us a free google home mini! They have a free and a paid version. We use the free version and it's doesn't really change much about how to pay your bill.

Arcadia power has the best customer service I've ever had through any Energy company. Plus I think it's awesome that they use wind and solar energy instead of coal.

Overall I ve had a wonderful experience with these guys. Responsive. Very willing to elaborate on explanations. Energy bills in my area are confusing in general IMHO. I appreciate that I m getting significantly more renewable energy than I was previously.

I was leery of signing up for a free service that I'd never heard of before. I did it anyway though, I wanted to feel like I was contributing to a better world, so I did a little research and it checked out. I've been with Arcadia for about 2 years now I believe, and I'm really happy with them!

I have been a customer for about two years with wind and solar credits. The customer service is spectacular and we are very happy with the positive impact we are having on the environment. My visits to the 40 ft-deep coal ash fields stretching for many acres filling in the Mississippi wetlands along the IL Madison County Trails is a reminder of what the REAL alternative is.

Arcadia's customer service is impressive. I emailed them a question, got an immediate acknowledgement and a complete answer within 2 hours--not once, but twice.
Arcadia suggested that I contact my local utility to get a Time of Use meter installed. That let to a conversation with my utility about the different rates (peak and non-peak) the utility charges. I learned that rates have two components: delivery and generation. The local utility gets paid for delivery, but I have opted to have my energy generated by Arcadia. After I got the charges from my local utility, I compared the cost per KWH and was stunned to see that Arcadia's charge per KWH is significantly less than what the local utility was charging. Wow, better for the environment AND more cost effective?! I thought I was only doing something for the environment--what a nice surprise to learn that I'm also doing something for our finances!

I recently heard about what this company was doing and what a brilliant way to try and shift the overpowered market of the fossil fuel industry to gaining more renewable energy sources. We have the power with the sun, wind and water - we are stuck in the past and that is going to effect everyones future. Support companies that are making a difference.
