Love A Basin! This is a serious area and the skiers/boarders here know what a special area this is. Kudos to the owners for NOT selling out and retaining the integrity of the area! If you aren't a regular here, please pay attention and be respectful of everyone here.

They have kept it true to Colorado and true to Abasin. Management here is fantastic. Born and raised in Denver been Snowboarding for 21 years now and easily my favorite mountain. BBQ on the beach, have one of their famous Bloody Marys and hit some nice pow with the friendliest staff in the industry.

We had 7 people skiing the mountain and had a great time. Plenty of runs for all ages and experiences. Food at the lodge was fair and good! My wife had to pulled from the mountain with an injury to her leg and the first aid/ ski patrol was fantastic to her. Thank you

Great. More of a local place than touristy. The mountain is tough and definitely makes sense for advanced skiers. I only skied 5 times in my life but I was able to handle many of the blue routes but not all. Also altitude sickness is a real thing if you're from the East coast.

Went just before Christmas- was surprised the lift lines were moving pretty fast. Had lots of intermediate runs, didn t even have time to try them all. Not a ton of beginner runs if you are just learning. Had beautiful weather/ views and got there early so parking was easy. Food and drinks at the cafe/ bar were delicious. Will definitely be back. Great proximity to Denver and great lift ticket prices compared to neighboring resorts.

Good Ski resort...if you come early and park in the front, then you can ski till the parking lot. I didn't like it, because no connection on the slopes and even at the bottom of the basin and don't remember if they had or not guest internet connection. But i remember i was not able to access internet. Oh the good deal is that you are allowed to take your dog up the green slope on the left side.

Great skiing but a horrible rental process. Get your gear somewhere else or you'll be spend the first hour waiting in line even on a week day. Great areas for group gatherings and well maintain lifts/trails.

Easily my least favorite resort that I have skied. The last time I was there their head parking lot attendant cussed me out on my way into the parking lot because I drove my truck up there single occupancy. I get that parking is limited, but life doesn't always work out to bring a ton of friends up with me. The plus side is they will be a great example when I teach about how not to do business. My students will hear about how bad this place is for decades to come.

We were looking for early season skiing and riding, and we weren t disappointed! It was my family s first time at A-Basin, but it won t be our last. Just know that when you re going in early November, there will only a couple of runs open so by the afternoon the lift line will be pretty crazy. Other than that, it was a perfect, powdery day.

Great mountain, awesome steeps, incredibly long season. Feels more authentic than most of the Disneyland style resorts in Colorado. Remember that it is very high altitude, and that can affect many skiers. High altitude brings in worse weather and visibility sometimes too, particularly above treeline. This mountain has the "real deal" steeps that most Colorado mountains can't touch. Plenty of variety and room for everyone though.

From the perspective of a lower-intermediate skier, A-Basin was a lot of fun! It was nice to find quality snow the last weekend in March. There were enough green and milder-blue slopes to keep us fully entertained for a day. Definitely there are many more advanced trails, so I expect to come back more often as we improve. We were impressed with the efficiency of the main lift. Despite a large number of skiers, the wait was never bad. We had a quality, and predictably expensive, lunch in the Legends Cafe. $4.25 for a fountain drink is excessive, but the $11 "10-8 Burger" and the $11.50 chicken tenders (with fries) were quite tasty.

June skiing 2017 was my first Colorado ski experience and was excited to visit A-Basin. As it turns out, pictures can't capture the immensity of this mountain as I was not prepared for the sheer expanse of skiable terrain (and this is only one of the many ski slopes in this little area)... I had high expectations but was ultimately disappointed...

...in myself. My own limitations are what hampered my experience of this place. Considering the progress I made at Sipapu in February I was expecting to be much more adept in conquering A-Basin, but I found my body had lost a lot of conditioning since then (got very sick in March and hurt my back in May).

So, I am looking forward to this winter, when I can come back in fighting form to properly enjoy the experience this mountain can provide.

My only complaints are 1) about prices, as I vacation on a tight budget, and 2) that waitresses in the bar play favorites to some customers while requiring others to speak up for service but the male waiter was universally attentive. Both days I came in sat down orderly and quietly, minded my own business, spoke with simple respect, gazed out at the slopes while I ate, and paid in full with a generous tip - nothing to warrant being treated like a leper. The fact the waitresses acted like they didn't want me there on the first day and that the male waiter was the only one offering me refills on the second is why A-Basin doesn't earn that last star.

I have been skiing at ABasin for over 30 years. Locals favorite place to ski. Great moutain terrain with the addition of the Beavers. Friendly staff and management. The commuters lot on the weekend is a good idea. Reward skiers that share rides. Only recommendation: replace the Lenawee lift with a quad like Black Mountain lift.

Amazing resort. The slopes were great and the snow was fresh and perfect. Definitely one on my favorite spots out here so far! The price range along with not being to crazy far from denver makes it a perfect " day get away". The beautiful scenery along the drive also makes it a great trip. We will definitely be returning soon.

The best and most beautiful ski resort in the Summit County area. I have had the Epic Pass over the course of about 5 years, and A-Basin has always been my favorite for powder and awesome technical features. And, you can't beat the beauty of the East Wall!

First time skiing Arapahoe and disappointed. Mountain was pretty cool but the overall service from staff was awful. Particularly in the ticket office. Mary helped us and I don t know if I have ever gotten so much attitude and sass. Ruined the experience from the beginning and it kept going downhill from there. Hate singling out a person, but in this occasion totally necessary.

Why take drugs when you can go snowboarding here? ...

Why take drugs when you can go snowboarding here? There is no better high.

I was visiting the area and went to a few ski resorts in the area. The "vibe" here is really great - it's about skiing and family and friends and the tradition of snow sports.

I can't ski black diamonds so was confined to the greens and blues. I loved the variety of blue slopes - dropping in on bowls, loooong wide runs, narrower challenging runs, moguls, and tree runs where you can really choose a new path every time. I haven't ever been on a terrain park before but the two here are a lot of fun and very well maintained. Even the green slopes were fun with lots of unexpected challenges and new lines to discover each time down.

It wasn't crowded (mid-Feb), prices were very reasonable, and there are lots of great amenities. Can't recommend this enough.

Not to bad of a ski area. Was satisfied with terrain, lifts were a little slow which eats up time on the mountain to board. One complaint is I got their early after purchasing my day pass online and the ticket booth did not open until the lifts opened, maybe letting folks get their tickets 30 mins before the lifts open would get ya 5 stars from me. Highly recommend if your more than a beginner!

I love Arapahoe Basin Ski resort. When all the other resorts are closed, you can come here. They stay open til May-June and have lots of fun activities. Check their facebook for updated news on events. Their website is not managed well and whoever does the website for them should be fired. They don't update the event schedule on there at all! The base lodge has the best Chicken and Waffles! Something about the sauce they put on it! SO GOOD!

Small resort without the price of nearby mountains. Not the best place for beginners but great for everyone else. Usually stays open longer than anyplace else in Colorado (July 4th is not unheard of in good years).

Classic ski park, easy to see why they call it the Legend. Tucked away along the continental divide, you'd swear you're in Switzerland with how breathtaking the views are. The restaurants and bars are great, parking situation ain't bad, and it's an easy 60 min from Denver. The drive there is even a trip in itself.

As for the terrain, I'd advise beginners to go elsewhere. It's not that they can't have fun, but it's definitely a park that's designed for intermediate or above riders. That said, if your new and want to enjoy "a-bay".. I'll stay out of your way :)

It's A-Basin, enough said... But I'm going to say more. We had our wedding here in July and we are still getting compliments on how awesome it was. All credit has to go to Meredith and her staff! She is a rock star and runs a tight ship. I don't know how she does it all but she does. If you are considering a wedding in the mountains I would encourage you to consider Arapahoe Basin. The food was out of this world good. The location couldn't be better with such amazing scenery. The ease of transportation and lodging options are incredible. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Finally the price, its much less than a lot of other venues of similar quality. We looked up and down the front range and in the mountains and this place is tops them all in regards to bang for your buck! Thank you Meredith and to your wonderful staff!!!
