It is a nice venue for music and they have large concerts. I found the price of food and drinks rather high The slopes and sidewalks were rather treacherous and I was sober. The drive in and out of the venue takes quite a bit of time and you should plan additional time to get in and park. I enjoyed concert and company I was with but would probably seek other venues in future if I had a choice to see same band/ group

As a frequent concert goer, this would be the last place I'd want to see another concert. From the front gate to the concert experience nothing was ran right. We were told gates would open at 6 pm for the 7 pm show and were not open till 6:40. We paid extra to be in a beer deck with private bathroom access only to be overtaken by non paying seat holders. The security had no control and the whole concert experience became not a fun experience. Improvements on communication, security, and overall management need to improve. Certainly the last time I'll ever attend a show here.

Great experience seeing Zac Brown Band!

Great experience seeing Zac Brown Band!
This venue had gotten some negative reviews primarily for some long waits getting in and out of the venue but we didn't experience any of that! Getting in was a matter of minutes, followed by lawn seats that gave us great views and sound that couldn't be beat. Getting out was a bit longer but as expected and withing 20-30 mins we were out on the road. Aside from the fabulous show, I'd definitely suggest taking in a concert at Alpine!

This place sucks for elderly or ada at all. bathrooms are too far away and steep. Have some respect. Also first aid is not first aid. Your staff did not respond as needed to someone having seizure. Hire some advance practice nurses. This is worst place i have been. 30 years ago loved this place. Will not go again

Enormous outdoor concert amphitheater. Reserved seating in the lower area near the stage and open lawn seating in the upper two thirds of the arena. A great place to see some of your favorite bands when the weather is nice but the lawn section can get a bit muddy if it's rainy, such is the downside of an outdoor event space. Get the covered pavilion seats for a better chance of staying dry if you are concerned. Outdoor concert on a lovely summer day can be quite wonderful.

Why is no one being allowed into the parking lot? Been sitting for a half hour and no one has moved. Received a call from Alpine valley stating the venue opens at 3pm today for Jimmy Buffett. Anyone??? Anyone??

I've always liked this venue. Feels out in the middle of no where. I've seen more shows here than I can remember. The most recent, Dead & Company. Be careful of the cops that ALWAYS wait on route 12, if you're heading back to Chicago. Road blocks!

The venue itself is absolutely wonderful, I've always loved Alpine but the last time I was there in July of 2016 for dead and company, Live Nation's security and service staff are really harsh and unkind to the concert goers (the company that runs the concert/venue were) be careful if you do go.

Venue was fabulous! Traffic was well controlled. I recommend buying the premiere parking pass. We were in and out in very short time.
Food vendors had interesting options. Bathrooms were clean and easy to get into. Security was everywhere and I felt very safe.
One MAJOR downside is that smoking if all kinds is allowed, e.g., cigarettes, pot, vape. It reeked and really bothered my breathing.
I d like to go back but probably won t until the smoking is halted.

Located in a lovely bucolic setting Alpine Valley is a very nice venue to see a show. I know some have complained about over zealous security but I didn't experience that at the recent Dead and Company show. Lawn was relaxed and very easy to navigate. We had no problem working our way to a nice spot to enjoy the show.

Longtime Buffett fan and attendee at Alpine. Greed seems to me the overarching theme lately. Pay for premium parking and they squeeze the vehicles in tighter than they do the free parking. Can't bring water in. And LiveNation is super duper greedy. Line up a deck and they sell it out from under you. With all that said, the tailgate is still good, just cross your fingers they park you so that you can actually put up your tent.

Been many times before to see Jimmy Buffet & had a great time but this time they didn't leave enough space for the tents. Alot more people at the concert, it was way to crowded. Sound system wasn't loud enough, we couldn't hear him sing a lot of his songs. Very disappointed this time on the running of the operation.

Terrible venue for navigating people into and out of the venue. 1 hour wait to get your car in. 1+ hour wait for security and admission to the venue. At least 2 hours to leave. Very poorly run. Sound quality was good but would not recommend unless you enjoy very long waiting time. Will definitely return to Cuyahoga and pick other venues in the future for Dead & Co.

Haven't been to Alpine since the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour, but I returned for Farm Aid 2019. I had very low expectations this time. Although the prices of beer, wine and food were pretty astronomical, I liked the variety of each. There weren't so many vendors years ago. And now that you can drink at your seat, it's a much more pleasant experience. The venue itself, situated in the valley surrounded by large forests of trees, is a view to behold. Overall, my opinion of Alpine has been rejuvenated and so has my opinion of Neil Young.

I've been going to this venue for over 20 years. Also have been all over the country to other large amphitheaters, but Alpine Valley is one of the best and largest in the country! They recently updated the sound system and man does it sound way better than it used to. It sounds amazing! They've got decent enough food and the prices don't send you to the poor house. Very large grass parking lot for all your tailgating needs and wants. The only down side to this venue, no vending. If you want to camp you will have to find a private party nearby with a shuttle or be prepared to camp a good 40 minutes away. The venue is in the middle of farm country. Have a blast!

Attended Zac Brown concert last night on 8-11-18. Our family entered the park at 2:51 pm when the park opened at 3:00 pm....9 minutes early. Mind you the park was open and letting people file in. Found the cop we encountered directing people, to be very condescending when showing me where to go. I came from the other direction and the line in from that way was not clearly marked. If you don't want to work the venue Mr. crabby police officer then don't. Worse yet, after we entered the park, they tell people when you got farther up the line, it is $20.00 for parking. I said I paid parking already and they said yes, but you are entering 9 minutes early so it is $20.00. Had I known that or there was a sign posted telling people that, I would of waited the 9 minutes. The parking attendant said we can mark your windshield with a big E and you can exit and reenter in 6 minutes. What an asinine SCAM Alpine Valley...Shame on you! We have been to concerts before at Alpine. I don't know if it is the change of ownership or what, but it was not the same experience. We found most of the Alpine workers to be unfriendly and rude, from the staff parking cars to the front gate staff! Take note Alpine, the new bucks arena is coming and many acts are booking there!

Where do I begin....at the beginning. I'm from Wisconsin, 60 yrs. Old, haven't lived in WI. Since the 70' but visit often, haven't been to Alpine Valley since 70's, Stopped by Alpine Valley on 7/30/19 approx. 12:30 met maintenance people spoke briefly, was told no problem go check out the amphitheater, (stroll down memory lane) then we met Joyce, would not tell me last name, or anything else, or why I couldn't just soak in this place that holds some of my favorite childhood memories, get out was all she would say without reason, tried to say we had permission, did not want to hear it!!!! This place has been around along time and I understand fallin on hard times since then, I don't know Joyce from a hole in the wall...but if she owns the place God help you, I understand having a bad day but WOW!!! That afternoon could of went alot of ways if Joyce was not in charge, or pretending that she was. Thanks for your attention.

With fond memories, (except 7/30/19)
