Do the scheduled maintenance and you should have many years of trouble free operation. Great product, they care about quality (seen it first hand in the factory).

what can I do to keep the Aquahot from shutting down on its own.
thermostat is set yet it shut down and the temp in the coach drops and it doesn't come back on
These systems are nice. I am living in a Beaver coach with one of these installed. It is so nice to only have the main fuel tank and have hot water like you would in a house. I ran into an issue where the diesel wasn't working. I called our local Aqua Hot dealer and that had a service kit in stock. I replaced the fuel filter and nozzle. The whole process took about 15 mins. Super easy. Only used about 10 tools for the process.
This has been one of the worst experiences yet for me. First I get the wrong part. The next thing I know the correct part has been charged for MORE money without my permission. Then I am supposed to get a call tag to send the wrong part back. I asked how a call tag works and the agent said not sure just take it back to UPS and they will take it back. During this period my card now has over two hundred dollars on it and the new part will not be credited until it arrives back at their facility. I told them I can buy the same part for less money than they charged me for the right part. Their answer is send both back with the same call tag. I get the part from UPS and talk with the delivery guy who told me how it works. He said he would come by the next day to pick it up. Ok open the box no call tag in the box. I e-mail and ask now what their answer was take it to a ups store and you can use our account number to return the package. What a way to treat customers that are supposed to get the right part the first time and now has to leave their premises find a UPS office and take it to them. Also I have to apologize to the UPS drive when he comes as they did not send the call tag. Won't deal with these people again
