Way overpriced part ! They wanted $76 for same exact part I bought on amazon for $13

Friendly place to shop and order hard to find appliance parts

Great place for all-things-appliance. For people who complain Amazon is cheaper: Get Over Yourself! So you pay a few bucks more, what you're getting is 1. The years of troubleshooting experience these guys have, and 2. The opportunity to circulate your dollars locally rather than sending them down the Great Black Hole of Corporate America. I took in a cruddy malfunctioning ancient range fan motor and walked out with exactly what I needed to plug it in. Try THAT with Amazon!

Thousands of appliance parts in stock at decent prices. Excellent help from very knowledgeable employees who can help you get the right part to fix that broken appliance.

Have always found or been able to order whatever I need. Great service, great knowledge of products and personable. Besides I believe in supporting small local businesses. Because they have been around for years they end up saving you time in finding what you need. Their prices are competitive too.

This place will have what you need. The staff knows everything. I'm very impressed

No listing of open or close times during the holiday period. Waited on the phone for 20 minutes... not answer. I called Granger.. answered phone in 1 minute, ordered the part, done! I have a feeling APE is not long for the business world.

The owner of APE was quite friendly and knew exactly what he had in stock on the phone re; my HE washer's belt. I had sought this store out on a referral from a friend who works on appliance repairs. I prefer to support local business whenever possible and came from an outlying area to get there. The store appears to have everything you could ever need for appliance repairs and a quirky, cool display of odd things folks have burned onto their stove grills hanging on the wall. However when I got there the the owner was busy so I waited for his employee. The employee had just been friendly and courteous to the customer he was chatting with before me and was strangely dismissive, snide and sarcastic with me. It made for a most unpleasant transaction. I rarely speak up about such things, but I did and he didn't acknowledge it or anything, just brushed me off. This is too bad as my friend and I are building tiny homes and restoring appliances for those displaced in the recent fires. Perhaps he didn't appreciate serving a woman? I doubt I would go back.

Chatted on the phone abut the part I needed to fix my home furnace, they said come by and lets see. When I arrived they had the part on the counter waiting for me. The exact part I needed and my furnace was running again in an hour. Great service and very nice to have the parts local for immediate delivery. Yes, you pay more than ebay, but there is a cost involved with great service and immediate availability. If I would have had to call a repair service the cost would have been $1000 easily, If I had to wait for online retailers the delay would have been days.

i needed a belt for a kenmore electric dryer, i gave them the model number and they had what i was looking for within arms reach. they're good, and very helpful people that know what they're talking about when it comes to appliances.
I was in and out in less then 5 mins.

Nice enough, helpful folks at a increasingly rare gem of a place.

Wow, I got ripped off. Buyer beware at APE! On 6/8/20 I walked into APE and paid $278 for a gas valve I could have bought on Amazon for $66. This is the exact same valve except the one at amazon comes with a regulator!

I expect to pay more for good service. I wouldn't have a problem with 100% more if they are advising me on what I need. But over 400% more? I don't think I'll ever trust these guys again. Never never trust this parts store for your appliance parts. Again, what a rip off.

These guys are great!

I've been going to them for many years, and they've never let me down.

They've always been helpful on the phone to diagnose a problem and / or coach me through disassembly, and they've always had the parts I needed.

Another thing: they are also always quick to point out when I DON'T need a part. Very cool.
