I ve only come to this store a handful of times over the years, but I recently had a great experience and wanted to share.. After traveling for a year in Central America, my iMac had completely stopped working.. I asked a local computer repair shop and they wanted $75 to diagnose the problem so I went to the Apple Store where they offer free diagnostics.. I made an appointment online to drop it off and when I arrived at the store on time I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen.. The first meeting was quick and easy, as I explained the situation to a young knowledgeable Mac employee.. I left my computer at the store and received an email the next day saying they already determined what the problem was (a bad power supply!) and they went ahead and replaced it already.. When I told them I hadn t authorized the repair yet they offered to reinstall the faulty part and have it ready for pickup that afternoon.. But it turned out the total cost (parts and labor) was less than the cost of buying a new power supply online!! The total was $150 which o gladly paid.. When I stopped in to pick it up, someone came out with my iMac within 5 minutes of arriving, and explained thoroughly the issue and the work that was done.. They told me that if there was any problem with the machine I could bring it right back, but honestly it has worked perfectly ever since I got it back!! All in all, I had no problems at this Apple store and would recommend visiting here if necessary.. Pro tip - always make a reservation online if possible, even if you re purchasing something.. It makes the experience much easier!!

1st after bringing in my recently purchased Macboo...

1st after bringing in my recently purchased Macbook Pro, from eBay, for $315..., they said... "OH, you have a warrenty, do not know why u do, or where it came from but there is a warrenty so u r covered with whatever is wrong with your unit...!"
2-3 weeks later.... they called ,me->
I thought wow, very little expericance with Apple I am impressed,...!
But it ended there....
Turns out becasue someone, whoever owned it b4 me, went into it, there was a case screw or two or even 3 mssing is how they knew, someone opened the case..... I guess they didn't notice that when I originaly brought it in...
..But it voided all warrenties, said or had...
But they can fix it for me for $325.00, my cost... Yea rght~! "THNX, a bunch, but I am good I told them..."
Turns out it needed a hard drive, which I got on eBay, a good enough one at
225 GB, plus OS Snow whatevers..., wound up costing me- $45.00 my cost. $20 for the HD- $25 for the OS.

My iPhone X was starting to collect dust one of the two main cameras. Unfortunately, Apple Smith Haven refused to either repair or even replace the device. Their argument was that if it's not affecting camera quality, not our problem. However, if you look on the apple technical specifications, these devices are IP 67 water and dusting resistant. I'll be filing a complaint with Apple customer support.

That s not to say there s no room for improvement, but in comparison to other locations, I ll wait for the service at this location.

6 00 pm i made an appointment to get my phone fixed . apple told me appointment was set for 900 pm text me at 750 there were ready was just getting my dinner at as fast as i could i checked in at 815 its now 9: 27 .still havent seened anybody. Very poor costumer service .

They suck if u have any tech issue be prepared to wait forever. A simple battery replacement took about 4 weeks to come in (I was told 2-3 weeks). THEN today to simply drop my damn phone off, it took 40 minutes. They have waaaaaay too many sales associates and not enough damn ppl that know anything about repair. One to three hours is what I told is the time frame to get my phone back it s been six long ass hours and I m still waiting for my email notification that it s ready. Never again. N E V E R.

check in person was using foul language out of frustation because the location was busy. came in to have my screen fixed and it was only supposed to cost me 150 dollars. the rep kicked out my girlfriend while i was on the phone with her trying to figure out what to do. one rep told her 299 and then i was told 399. after a short discussion we decided to leave offended. walked 20 feet to the 'i-fix-screens' location nd they fixed it in 20 minutes for 100 bucks. ive been a customer of this location for 7 1/2 years and will never return. this is just 1 of many poor reviews i will be leaving and will be contacting administrative offices.

I bought an iPhone 5S, things did not go the way I wanted with the setting up of the phone but they tried everything to please me and to make sure I will go home happy. I had to return later in that day to finalize the setup and indeed I left very happy thanks to Sergio and CJ.

So does that young lady who sells knockoff phone cases at the kiosk in one of the center aisles! And people wonder why malls are failing...nobody wants to deal with their employees!

10/212020: I recently went to this location in Lake Grove about damage on my iphone. The employee never looked at my information just blew me off. They told me i could come in to buy something but that they had no time to resolve my warranty related situation. Further one of the employees told me to call apple to lie to them that my phone was lost so i could get a new phone immediately. The man told me he could upgrade my apple watch and ipad but had no time, and blew me off. A manager was not available to speak and the phones at the store do not get answered...The Manhasset store on miracle mile is so much better. Going to this location is like going to the DMV.

Great experience came in because my phone charger port wasn't working right. After getting checked in and waiting a couple of minutes an employee came to help, thinking i was going to have to get a new phone with the quick thinking employee checked to see id my port was dirty sure enough a giant dust bunny came out and phone started working like a charm!

Hopefully your apple products work fine, but if they don't, the setup that this Apple Store has during the pandemic is great. Drive in, they help you out and direct you to a parking spot, then take care of your issues while you wait in your car. Steven helped me with my AirPods today, he was a huge help. Just have an iota of patience and your experience will be 10/10.

Got there the lady checked me in said it was gonna be a about half an hour because there was three people ahead of me, i m sitting there waiting for an HOUR I finally went up and said when am I next the other guy asked for my name I told him, he asked me if I left the store or if I went to the bathroom, I told him no i ve been sitting for literally an hour. After that he said he put me next after 10 mins my mom came in and complained to ANOTHER guy he said we have a way of doing things here you have two people ahead of you after being told I was next, all I was trying to do was trade my old phone and get a new one I shouldn t have to wait an hour to SPEND MONEY

Worst customer experience that I have. Scheduled a battery change for my phone. Came back after 2 hours, paid and picked up the phone. Once walked out of the mall, realized that the battery is still not good, battery dropping fast. Came back to the store. Waited for another 30 minutes, and the tech told me that they forgot to change the battery, and asked me to wait for another hour for the change.

Try reaching somebody on the phone. Impossible. I know they ve been busy and understaffed but a week to speak to somebody is a bit much. Had I spoke to somebody I would have known that I had to make an appointment to go into the store now that they re open. Had to make 2 trips.

Came to the store to buy an iPad for my son , so I know it s a Sunday and i obviously know they are busy and have a lot of people but i think to wait exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes to buy an item is ridiculous , they should assign people to make the sales , I can see a least 3 people in the back just standing there and wondering what they are doing , maybe directing the traffic ? But what about the rest of the time they could make a sale right ? Well I waited and ask one of the associates that I just wanted to buy an iPad , then she told me that if I was in their waiting list so I said yes and that I was in there for a least 1:30 minutes to buy an iPad her response was well you have to wait until they call you even if is to buy something and then she just walked away, I think that was very unprofessional just to treat a customer like that , I have apple everything and I think I deserve better courtesy than that unless my money doesn t count then I will take my business somewhere else , after waiting all this time the associate John helped me and answer all my questions with professionalism , and I ended up buying the iPad anyway buy this will be my last purchase if this will ever happen again

They have an oh well thats too bad attitude when it comes to their service. They dont try to help and you have to be without your equipment until the equipment is fixed and they say they dont know how much you will be charged to fix it until the item returns.

My daughter needed her MacBook track pad fixed. That was a last day of her summer classes and final assignment. Richard was amazing! He tried many different ways to revive her computer and finally was able to fix it! Huge "Thank You"! A great example how an employee helps to shape a positive image of his company.

God bless these Apple Store employees. They are patient and will explain things over and over again to help you understand. Many of the customers I observed are very impatient and rude. They also tend to not understand or know about technology. The employees worked hard to break down concepts to each person s level. They really try to problem solve. I highly recommend this store and the employees.

Horrible experience. Checked in and told it would be a 2 hr wait. Waited 2hrs and asked when I would be called. Told they were behind and would at least another hr. Ridiculous. Employees were standing around just talking with each other doing nothing. Telling me I'm going to have to wait 3 hrs is crazy. Needless to say I wasted 2 hrs of my time and did not get my phone fixed. Worst experience ever. It is now 4 hrs since I checked in and still have not gotten a text they are ready to help me.

The people in the store were great. Friendly personable and patient, especially with a high volume of customers needing help with alds products. Sad to see that many people in need of service, though. In and out as grady as possible with everything explained. The only thing was that the online representative misidentified the product I was bringing in.

The people who work there are very nice. They are helpful. They take the time and assist me with my devices. They are good to people with disabilities. If you let them know you have a disability they will walk you through the steps and help you fix issues with your devices.

Then they decided to give me a new phone, which made me spend the whole afternoon to restore my new phone. And they didn't even apologize for that! All in all, this is a terrible store and I had a terrible experience there!

Was having in an issue with my iPhone 7 Plus with it shutting off randomly. Called apple support they were no help and schdudled me an appointment for 12/20. This is my only phone and couldn't wait a week. Called the store was told I can be seen right away after rushing there I was told the wait was 4 hours. I was so mad. Spoke to the manger and she told me to well you should have made an appointment. They have no plroblem making a sale but not willing to help to fix an issue with their product still under warranty. Apple needs employees who care or a better product.
