I ve only come to this store a handful of times over the years, but I recently had a great experience and wanted to share.. After traveling for a year in Central America, my iMac had completely stopped working.. I asked a local computer repair shop and they wanted $75 to diagnose the problem so I went to the Apple Store where they offer free diagnostics.. I made an appointment online to drop it off and when I arrived at the store on time I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen.. The first meeting was quick and easy, as I explained the situation to a young knowledgeable Mac employee.. I left my computer at the store and received an email the next day saying they already determined what the problem was (a bad power supply!) and they went ahead and replaced it already.. When I told them I hadn t authorized the repair yet they offered to reinstall the faulty part and have it ready for pickup that afternoon.. But it turned out the total cost (parts and labor) was less than the cost of buying a new power supply online!! The total was $150 which o gladly paid.. When I stopped in to pick it up, someone came out with my iMac within 5 minutes of arriving, and explained thoroughly the issue and the work that was done.. They told me that if there was any problem with the machine I could bring it right back, but honestly it has worked perfectly ever since I got it back!! All in all, I had no problems at this Apple store and would recommend visiting here if necessary.. Pro tip - always make a reservation online if possible, even if you re purchasing something.. It makes the experience much easier!!
