What an interesting place! Okay this place is definitely not for the timid or conservative. This place is a truly over the top artsy atmosphere for the brave, open minded, and non-non-judgemental. Went on an erotic art Monday got more than I expected. Just need say, WOW! So if you are not a free spirit nude art appreciative don't go on this night. But if you get down like that please go and enjoy. Lively, fun, but chill atmosphere. BTW, the food is pretty tasty too, however wait service is slow and non-attentive.
Wonderful atmosphere! I highly recommend you reserve a table. Also wear comfortable shoes if you don't have a reservation
i really enjoyed my time at apache cafe. i loved the atmosphere, got to do some great networking, and ate some wonderful food. the line wasn't too long and the cost was great. i also really enjoyed the different poets and artists i got to hear while i was there.
a very intimate crowd of artists and galleries here. they have nude model nights which are really interesting to see different artists styles. the drinks are fairly cheap and if you try a shot, go for the beetlejuice! a real kick to the head!
I hated that I had to wait in the cold (this wasn't Apache's fault), but the live experience was awesome! My drink (and everyone else's)was mixed amazingly! Will definitely be back and maybe get to perform there
Had a blast they hosted an art show it was so dope!
Great host, nice venue, talented singers. I would've ranked it with five stars, had it been better organized. We waited too long outside and we had a reserved table.
Love the vibe great place if your looking to see some talented artist and poets
Absolutely beautiful soulful experience they have open mics
Great atmosphere to showcase artist in a unique and vibrant atmosphere
It just wasn't what I expected I did not get out to go in it wasn't eye appealing to me...sorry
Atmosphere was Wonderful and ppl were friendly and nice.
Attended an open Mic night that was really dope! The drinks are well priced as well! The art work give this place s unique vibe.
Love! Love! LOVE EVERYTHING about this place! It warms your soul and makes your heart happy to witness so much talent!
Great sense of community, and thoroughly entertaining
I have to start off my saying the old venue and vibe was so much better. My first experience was so great that I had no hesitation about visiting the the venue. And here is where the disappointments start; the location is in the hood! The driveway to the venue is full of enormous holes. The first disappointing arose when we arrived on time but had to wait outside in the cold for 20 mins. Just be finally get inside to absolutely no seating. My partner and I stayed approximately 5 mins before leaving.
The chicken wings are 25% seasoning 10% grease/oil and 65% chicken. Had my stomach messed up for a day.
I came to Apache Monday night for the first time. The vibe was great. I was a bit nervous because I didnt want to go alone. My waitress Niecy was really sweet and she made me a personalized drink! I really enjoyed the host... He kept us entertained the whole night!!!! I had such a good time, I ended up going back on Tuesday...Oh yea, I found out Apache was black owned, so that was definitely a plus for me.
Great venue for a viscera of artistic and creative performances and showcasing
Didn't understand why we had to wait to go inside. Entertainment was ok. The food was great.
A quaint poetry and spoken-word venue, Apache has never disappointed. It is relatively inexpensive and there is a lot of talent in Atlanta. Be careful, parking is paid and the door cover charge can vary. It is very small so get there early if you want seating.
I seem to always make it to the Bar Exam event which is once a month. I love it!!!
Last time I went to Apache it was #TheHouseMusic dance floor full, drinks on point, great vibes. It is very hard to get the attention on the bartender but he makes great drinks.
I am thoroughly impressed at the flow of events on friday night. from the poetry to the open mic comedy to the painting. There was so much going on.The flow between acts was incredible and the atomsphere along with the artwork was impeccable. There was one waitress she worked the heck out of the crowd the entire night. I will return. it was a very much refreshing experience.
Went to see one of my FAVORITE bands The Chronicle. They were soooo good!! Just like the Good Old Days when it was Yin Yang
If you haven't visited the Apache Cafe, you haven't lived...lol
Apache was awesome they had great vibes new upcoming artist as far as singing comedy and art. I will go back for the entertainment.
I like the talent but umm I've been waiting 1 hour for some quesadillas I'm so fkn ready to get my food and gtf
"Free spirit venue". I'm sure the bathroom will be in the actual building soon. Nice for artist and small business.
It was great to hear fresh new hip-hop music from up and coming artists.
Best spot in Atlanta for spoken word artist to come showcase their talents.
The atmosphere and food was great! They only had one server waiting on tables which of course resulted in very slow service. It took over 20 minutes just to receive a water and ginger ale.
Had a great time, great atmosphere, very cool vibes from the staff and other customers
The atmosphere here is great. Intimate seating. If u don't reserve a table I suggest get there early. Drinks are kinda pricey but good. Food is ok. Great customer service. Loved my experience here! Great date night place.
Show was okay, was there for a hour paid the cover charge and $80 for food and drinks. The host came to our table and was high or drunk as hell asking us to make our way to the exit. I said no the bar has my credit card and the waitress said it was okay for us to get another drink and there being made now. He said oooo okay and walks off . We get our drinks and 5 minutes later the waitress comes back and says we have to leave because the poetry show starts soon. Then why 5 minutes ago you didn t say that you said everything was cool. So a woman comes over saying you have to pay $20 or leave we said we just got these $10 drinks so we are going to finish our drinks first. We got dirty looks from the staff all while we were drinking our drink. Very rude and awkward I will never go back. And if we just paid for one show why would you charge us full price for the next show. We were there buying food and drinks which means spending money. We left and went somewhere else and had more food and drinks so we didn t mind spending money it s the way Apache is ran is tacky drunk host waitress telling us we can get another round and 5 minutes later saying you have to leave I will not recommend this place to anyone
Shrimp and grits were disgusting. No idea what the lump of crap was the waiter brought out. The taste was two thumbs down. I'm annoyed that it was 15.00 and not even almost good. The poetry was just ok. It's a very small intimate setting. I wouldn't return
My niece Erin on bas guitar with The Soul Conglomerate
VERY small venue. This place should not host ticketed events due to VERY limited seating.
The food is horrible! I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and they put shrimp on itbalong with artificial fish which turned out to be tilapia. I'm allergic and had a horrible night due to them being inconsiderate. They refused to admit to it and had me talk to the chef in the back as if he'd admit it. Btw he had no hairnet on or gloves. Just nasty! I will not be returning. The music was great but the service is poor :(
I went for open mic last Tuesday and it was great. The host, Chris James was on fire! Men and women performed; poetry, songs, spoken word, comedy. Uplifting atmosphere. The food was good, beware the HOT chicken sandwich, it was a hard fought battle, but I finished it. Drinks are a little pricey and 18 percent gratuity automatically included in check. Waiter dude was awesome!
Awesome live music venue. Be sure to try the menu and drinks too. Salmon for dinner, death by chocolate for dessert.
Went on Sunday night. Food was okay. We ordered fish& chips. We wanted to sub grits for the fries they wouldn't do it. The reason was just we don't do that. Disappointing. The meal came with cold slaw. The cold slaw was served in a sample cup. So you got a fork and a half of cold slaw. The stand out here is the entertainment. Most of the poets were amazing. The diversity was good although primarily black people. Great energy crowd. Poetry open to everyone. Also individual musicians. It was great. For best seating make a reservation.
A small, funky, unique place. The entertainment is....eclectic, and that's a good thing. Very entertaining. I've only gotten food there once and I wasn't disappointed.
Not enough space our seating. Started late and called out the, "warm up"... that was last night. Won't be back! Food looked good but didn't have any personally.
Just a great place, to catch a show, live graffiti outside, 420friendly inside
I love the idea of a spot that's catering to new upcoming artists. The bartender was so rude tried to overlook it but.... It forced us to leave. I don't need you sucking your teeth and screwing your face when I'm asking questions about the menu. Plus I paid to get in.
Great atmosphere for live music and poetry, low-key, great wings and chill vibe
I model here for art Monday s come check me out sometime! Oh and btw the food is delicious
Great! Great! Great! If you love music, this is the place to be! Al Smith's jam session on Wednesday nights!!! Always exciting!!
Hidden gem and best Jerk chicken wings...love the ambience inside. We visited before the Atlanta United soccer game since it is very close to GA Tech stadium. We will go back to check out the live performance.
Best spot in Atlanta for spoken word artist to come showcase their talents.
Style of Culture leaves you with energetic vibes of souls, whom bring a wellness to all walks of life, place for the compassionate.
The good....The layout is cozy and pretty. The host was funny, very funny. The bad...The food took a long time and it was not hot. The ugly...The women's bathroom is designed in a way that is not comfortable at all! There is a steep incline as soon as you enter the bathroom. I thought there were stalls in the bathroom but there was just one toilet so I had to slide down the incline to lock the door. I am NOT disabled and I had concerns with getting out without falling.
It's a great space (plenty of seating and tables). Parking is ample but not free. The crowd can be a little thin unless there's a special event which isn't always bad considering bathrooms are limited to single serve.
Apache has always been an awesome place to best talent the city offers! So sad that they will be closing this location and relocating.
My first time there and I really enjoyed myself.. Nice vibe and food was on point... Will b a spot I'll come to again...
Seeing hearts in the art of Apache after dark so I'm spitting about love, then in the back chillin hard. ~LaDee Ursurla
A place where Legends are born and the crowd gets to witness greatness
I love the vibe. Just not big enough. But then again, it is a cafe. So, maybe I'm wrong. Who knows? Don't listen to me. SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL: Orrin Skitzo
