Fantastic studio. Made our amazing ident trailer for Fredrikstad Animation Festival 2019.

I had the pleasure of working with Animaskin and Julian Nazario Vargas in 2013 on the project Adils Hemmelige Dansere which was produced by Rubicon TV for NRK.

Animaskin and Julian were responsible for producing the opening vignette. The program was about dance and at this point I had put down my dancing shoes for good but thought that this vignette could be the last time I danced on screen. In other words, I had a strange head with me and some thoughts about how things could be done.

Julian was welcoming, professional, down to earth, good at listening and gave me the freedom to share my thoughts while throwing in his universe, his knowledge, his unique artistic touch, and his experiences. The communication between us was simple and productive, and I really appreciated that both Animaskin and Julian thought outside the box. Not only in relation to my production but also how I perceive them as a company. These people dare to think untraditionally and innovatively, which for me is a fantastic gift in the myriad of production companies and animation houses that I feel prioritize financial gain over quality. The guys were generous with their time and went the extra mile to make me happy.
