This is not a spa resort. This is a family motel/hotel with restaurant, tennis,pool and "spa" room.

Resort is dated, rooms need refurbishment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor.

Room and toilet amenities very poor.

Lovely resort, spacious, clean and elegant. The girls at front desk were very kind and helpful at all time

Wonderful, relaxing stay only a couple of days but really appreciate the pool spa etc..

Recommend not to visit to this resort as wet season brings out millions of nasty mosquitos .............. and disgusting cappuccinos

Stayed here twice in the self contained spa room. Modern, well equipped and set among the rainforest. It's quiet and comfortable. There's an outdoor area that was enclosed with flyscreens but were ineffective.

Resort has 2 large pools including a kids area as well as a tennis court and restaurant. Although they have bikes for hire and riding into town is easy, you really need a car to explore the area fully.

Great place for adults to relax, good kids facilities, in a laid back family oriented environment.

Nice and relaxing , the pool was not to deep for the younger set.The staff was always happy to help out .

Great place to stay we had a self contained apartment, nice gardens, pool, bbq's great food at the restaurant and close to Yamba

Went on a Groupon deal, which was great value. Sometimes when paying a cheaper price you get treated cheaply - not so at Angourie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Scored a free cocktail which was a bonus. Was very quiet and facilities and surrounds were lovely. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Apartment on ground floor was stuffy, dark and dusty (right next to main road). Staff kindly upgraded us to a villa which was heaps better. Clean and well appointed. Kids facilities and pool are great. Overall the resort was a bit swampy for our liking. There were heaps of mosquitos when we were there.

Firstly I wanted to say that the place and location is fantastic. In general we loved our stay and found the staff very helpful and genuinly lovely. Especially the head lady in the restraunt was so service orientated. We stayed in the unit block type accomodation in an upstairs appartment. It was really spacious and we really liked the inside of the appartments with high ceilings and large rooms. The only negetive was the design in relation to the balcony which is meant to be the focal point of the appartment, which is why we booked it. It and the appartment is hot so keeping fans and everything open is key. They have designed it with the windows angled and there is a gap between every appartment. Unfortunately this means that if you have neighbours there is no privacy, you can hear every conversation. The aircon units are positioned on this balcony so if any one of the units has the aircon on then the heat from the aircon fills every units balcony and then you cant actually sit out on the balcony as it is too hot. If your doors are open to the balcony it fills the appartment. A fan out on the balcony would immensely help this issue. The appartment is natuarally hot as the enclosed balacony also does not get alot of breeze. We understand it is a saftey issue with the glass bottom hence a fan will help. Overall this did not turn us off as there was only 3 nights out of 4 we had neighbours. It also seemed one of our neighbours understood that if they don't turn on the aircon we won't and we can still enjoy the balcony in a sweaty condition but not to the unbearable with the heat of the aircon extraction. We would stay again for sure but we would most likely book another type of self contained cabin style they have available. thanks again to the staff, who were all great.

Fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept. The pool area is great. The restaurant is a must do especially for dinner, 10 out of 10. Have stayed twice now and will definately return.

a great place to catch up with family and friends, my only criticism, the mosquito problem needs to be addressed.

Booked Accommodation at 4 hotels over Easter 2020 which then had to be cancelled due to nationwide shutdown. 3 other hotels refunded, no questions asked. Angourie encouraged us to take a credit note instead, giving us 12 months to use it rather than refund. We do not want this credit note yet they are refusing a refund. Amazing service form all other accommodation providers, pure robbery from Angourie. We will never stay here.

Nice quiet place near Yamba and Angourie. The villa I stayed in was a great size, clean and had everything we required. Staff and friendly.

Staff very polite and helpful. Wanting time out this place is very tranquil. Massage therapy absolutely amazing.

My wife and I just spent 4 nights here at the start of our honeymoon.
Room was good, pool and Jacuzzi are excellent.

Restaurant is to die for. A little bit of a wait but the steak was almost the best I've eaten. Seafood risotto was a small serving, but OMG good

It's not bad at all for what it is but don't expect a glam resort. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good.

Whomever decided to put the day spa rooms next to the main pool needs to rethink their life choices.
If you want to spend $350 to listen to children screaming metres away from you, this is the place for you. It is literally like they are in the room!
The actual treatment was sensational. The constant loud screaming and yelling "watch me" ruined it.
Head in to Yamba to one of the many day spa rooms not next to screaming children.

This place is amazing, and the staff are always happy to help whenever they can. I stayed here in early October 2020 and the weather was perfect everything was so nice and clean and I would recommend to anyone to stay here with or without children, I have a 2 year old and she had a blast on the indoor play equipment and the outdoor play equipment. The little kids pool is amazing for her, the accomidation is larger then what it looks like in the pictures which I was very surprised with, we stayed in the Two Bedroom Deluxe Villa, it has so much space. We also had a massage and that was amazing like nothing else Ive ever had, they even have a little indoor pool if you book a spa treatment you get to use it pretty much to yourself. The Yamba location is beatiful so many beaches to visit we went to 5 in 6 days

Perfect place for a weekend away. The staff are incredibly courteous and the facilities are outstanding. 10/10

The spa villa was spacious & well appointed. Lovely bush view from a large deck. The pool area was very relaxing with its huge swing chairs, large hot spa & pool side bar. Oysters Kirkpatrick at the restaurant were the fattest, juiciest & nicest we ve had in years...

however the (not cheap) steak was unforgivably sinewy & not cooked to request. Just horrible. They did it again but it seems their meat supplier is having the last laugh. An insult to pay good money for. The chicken pop corn at the pool bar was over cooked & very dry. The continental breakfast bar which closes at 10.30am was depleted by 10am with two very dry pastries left. These are the small things that disappoint because they are easily avoided. A resort MUST be vigilant in attention to detail. ESP with food.

Angourie Rainforest Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The facilities are great with everything you might need, grounds are serene and the staff... Everyone was lovely, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommend!
We went as just a couple for an anniversary but it is perfect for family stays, too.
Oh! And the food at Cunjevoi (onsite restaurant) is fantastic. Cannot overstate that as we enjoyed every second of the set menu, and again - the staff were outstanding!

Very quite also very spaces and the staff was very helpful. They made you feel that you were at home. I will go back. All good .

Great location and room was very good. However wouldn t give back deposit on room when our daughter couldn t get thru to join us during April floods up North.

Due to the unusual weather we are having in NSW over the past 2 weeks in March, 2021 .With road closures, flooding, trees down etc, we have felt it best to stay in Sydney and travel north possibly in May.
When we contacted Angourie Resort we were advised of the T&C of our booking.
In the end we had to forfeit our deposit as they were not prepared to allow a date change to May when things hopefully would be better on the North Coast and driving wiuld be safer.
Obviously a stickler for T&C and not great on customer service.

Angourie resort staff are all lovely. We did a package deal for couples Breakaway and added an extra night. Nothing was a drama for them. Dinner at cunjevoi restaurant was absolutely divine but is in a higher price range so be prepared, well worth the money though. The best feature is the pool and bar although you do have to get out to order cocktails they are brought to you while in the pool which is an absolute treat.

Wonderful. Relaxing. Beautiful place. Great accommodation. Delicious food. Great staff. Day spa is divine and the therapist are fabulous.

Lovely resort in a serene location, - some have said it's in an industrial area.
You drive past a little industrial area, past a sportsfield, then you're in rainforest, and then Angourie appears out of the blue.
Reception staff were welcoming and helpful.
It's perfect for a quick getaway from the world. Nice self contained accommodations, comfortable modern furnishings, and fully equipped kitchen (which we never used).
Shower pressure was better than we have at home, spa bath was a bonus, we couldn't help but indulge....
The restaurant Cunjevoi, attached to the resort was outstanding and I will leave a seperate post about that.

We settled for the continental breakfast, which was included in the price, and found it ample, the bircher muesli was a hit accompanied by a delicious chia seed & honey yogurt.

There was bike hire and spa treatments available, however, due to time restrictions, we did not partake, even though discount vouchers were offered.

On a lap around the resort we saw a lovely pool area with private suspended "relaxing beds"..... Picture an "egg" chair - for two. Apparently you can order a cocktail or two to enjoy in the comfort of your own chair.
There's a games room, a well equipped play area, and plenty of pathways for kids to ride around on their bikes. And don't forget the rainforest to explore.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angourie Resort, so much so, we added another night!!!

We love staying here for the great staff, tasty food, cocktails by the pool and the clean and comfortable rooms. We cant wait to come back. Thank you Angourie for the extra effort to make our stay special.

Loved it, awesome apartments, very spacious......... and the Angus burger is a sight to behold.

Our accomodation suited us perfectly, able to ride our bikes into Yamba and a short drive to Angourie.
Our room was very clean, comfortable and well fitted out. Would enjoy the enclised patio area had tge weather been warmer.

Flannel flower package was excellent perfect,
The facilities weren t that great. The girl that showed us around didn t explain everything properly, There was no key for the lockers. The showers were dirty and a huge huntsman in them. The steam room was very noisy. Apart from the facilities the service was great.

Misleading and deceptive conduct.

The resort confirmed services both in writing and verbally of services they had no intention of delivering and then denied that they had ever said they would provide those services.

Also beware that you will talk to a different staff member each time you call who will provide you with conflicting and false information.
The conduct is unethical at best

Lovely place to relax and enjoy fantastic Margaritas

This is a superb rainforest retreat near Yamba! Great for kids. The pool is really fun to hang and chill out in as well as lay in the big hanging beds. The apartments have really high ceilings and feel very modern. And the screened in porch was great for hanging out and listening to the sounds of the rainforest.

Quiet, comfortable excellent units with plenty of space and very good facilities.

My partner and I have been here 4 time's before we absolutely love Angourie Resort the staff are fantastic & the amenities second to none. The food in the restaurant is always really good. We stay in a Spa Apartment which has everything you need for a holiday.

Nice place for a family to relax and be surrounded by nature. We went during winter (no flies and mozzies), kids had lots of fun in the playground, only too cold for water play. Would definitely go back there again if there's again chance. It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Haven't even stayed there yet.. booked a room for the weekend of our anniversary 3 weeks prior, and paid!
All to be called 5 days before leaving that the restaurant will be closed for maintenance so the extra that we paid we won't get a buffet hot breakfast and they will refund us $30... wasn't happy quiet angry and disappointed. Thanks

Loved my stay at Angourie Resort! Everyone was great from reception and all the way to the restaurant staff. The facilities were all good as well. Really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and relaxing at the couch hammocks! Our room was fantastic too!

Always worth a visit to the Day Spa to fully unwind for the day. Steam room Therapy pool and gorgeous Facilities.

We booked this place via luxury escapes. The staff are friendly and attentive. We stayed in a 1 bedroom spa room. The rooms could have done with a service but it wasn't included in the package which was a shame. The spa rooms are quite dark but the rainforest outlook was amazing. Located between the point and Yamba town it's a quick drive to everything. We enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't pay full price for accomodation.

Would go again. Great for kids: pool, outdoor + indoor play areas.

Great facilities for families. Pool, kid's playground, bike hire, tennis, BBQs... The oven in both apartments functioned very poorly - food would either quickly burn or remain uncooked for prolonged periods. Must be addressed due to impact on guest experience. Reception staff seemed aware of ongoing problem. Friendly and engaging staff.

Fantastic! Villa was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was great and service was excellent. Our 4 yr old loved the playground inside and outside. Wife loved the massage at the day spa. We will be back!

We so loved the space, comfort and scenery of our One bedroom apartment...massage was fabulous, food at the restaurant was very delicious while served by the friendliest staff.. definitely a beautiful surprise.

Staff, staff, staff. Despite difficult circumstances for the staff, they were the most friendly, attentive and helpful that my partner and I have experienced anywhere. And when all said and done, the staff are often what sticks in your mind during and after your stay. From reception, to cleaners, kitchen and grounds people. Angourie Resort has the best staff that you could ever encounter.

I absolutely Adore Anguarie. It has a special place in our heart's. My Husband and I went there 8 year's ago when we were just together. Now married Bliss!
It was just as we remembered, Beautiful Clean as, relaxing, such helpful staff, Awesome food and beverages.
I did unfortunately fall over on the first night, so most of my pictures are inside.

Fairly large resort set in the jungle. Nice big apartments, good amenities like pool and tennis courts. Nice staff, friendly service. Parking right next to your unit. 5 mins drive into Yamba.

Surrounded by rain forest, Angourie resort provides relaxing environment for vacation.

We stayed for the weekend in villa and completely enjoyed our time there.

Relaxed accommodation and comfortably clean rooms to rest your weary body after a great weekend

Great resort, fantastic facilities. The pool is good for both leisure and swimming. Small kids have a different pool with a water slide. They have good coffee and I recommend the open stake sandwich from the bar.
Very relaxing atmosphere easy to find a place around the pool and enjoy the Sun.
Only thing that didn't write work is the internet. It is very unreliable. Capacity is not there and the program they use for enabling access predates the moon landings. It also seems to be a mobile black spot.

Reception staff surprised that we complained about the road noise , our room was only about 15 metres from the road where the speed is 100ks an hr very noisy around 4.30 afternoon and from about 7 in the morning. Restaurant breakfast good . Rainforest setting nice ,

Great quiet location and facilities. Excellent restaurant and service. Spa rooms only downside was the lack of blackout blinds for the rooms and some minor mainrtrnace issues. Wifi is costly.
