I bought a Groupon for an "All Over Color and haircut" for my girlfriend as it had been awhile since she had her hair done. She is relatively new to the area and is still looking for a stylist that she is comfortable with. Whe the appointment was scheduled, it was cofirmed that it was a Groupon for an all over color and cut. I attended the appointment with my girlfriend and the stylist that did her hair was Tiffany. My girlfriend showed a couple of different pictures of what color she wanted her hair to be to Tiffany. My gf also explained to her that she has had a "lift" test done in the past to ensure that an all over color that was a Honey Blonde works on her brunette hair color. This apparently was all disregarded by Tiffany as I later found out that she did highlights on my gf's hair, instead of the "all over color" as requested. In addition to that, we were charged an extra $50 because she had to use extra foil and product, but we weren't informed there would be an extra charge until the highlights were already halfway done, at which point it was too late! Needless to say, we left disappointed. I called the next day and was able to speak to one of the owner's who was unable to understand the concept of the customer is always right. In this case, she argued that my gf's hair wouldn't have looked good if she got the "all over color", even though I explained to her that she has had it done in the past. Rather than admitting that they should have done the "all over color" to begin with, she offered that they could do more highlights for no additional charge and that was the only option to correct the problem. In the end, we ended up paying full price for a service that we didn't ask for and my girlfriend hating her hair. To me, as a salon, if a customer asks for a hair color, whether it is blonde, purple, blue, or whatever, you do what the customer wants, not what you think is better and then charge them extra for it. Based on other reviews, it seems that this is a trend for this salon and I wouldn't recommend going there unless you don't care what color your hair is after your appointment.
