Whitnie has been my hairstylist for years and it was no question I would have her do my wedding hair - both a trial and day of. Whitnie and Micaela from Angles came to the hotel room and turned the bed head of myself and my bridesmaids into beautiful updos for us all that were all similar but unique to each of us. Our hair stayed in place throughout the day until we started taking the bobby pins out that night!

I never know how I want my hair, so I always tell Tiffany to do whatever you think I need! She truly has a gift of style-or a secret magical wand Out of all the places on Plainfield to go-Angles is a cut above
I went to this salon for the first time because I bought a Groupon for highlights. The salon is not in a very convenient location, and it's in a tricky little spot; I missed the turn into the drive off the main road and had to turn around. It's a small salon, but cute inside. The highlights did not show up in my hair (red lowlights on brown hair), which was a big disappointment after spending 3 hours in the chair. The stylist told me I could come back and she'd try again, so I went back 3 weeks later and this time she lightened my hair first, then applied the red. It definitely showed up this time, but it was too extreme, and not evenly placed throughput my hair. It looked like someone dumped kool-aid on my head. I will not be returning to this salon. I only gave it 2 stars because the lady next to me seemed to be a repeat customer who was happy with her results.
Stopped there this afternoon at 1pm. The business was not open, all lights were off. However, the store shop hours stated it was supposed to be open until 2pm. I am disappointed that their hours are not correct and I won't be wasting my time there again.
I bought a Groupon for an "All Over Color and haircut" for my girlfriend as it had been awhile since she had her hair done. She is relatively new to the area and is still looking for a stylist that she is comfortable with. Whe the appointment was scheduled, it was cofirmed that it was a Groupon for an all over color and cut. I attended the appointment with my girlfriend and the stylist that did her hair was Tiffany. My girlfriend showed a couple of different pictures of what color she wanted her hair to be to Tiffany. My gf also explained to her that she has had a "lift" test done in the past to ensure that an all over color that was a Honey Blonde works on her brunette hair color. This apparently was all disregarded by Tiffany as I later found out that she did highlights on my gf's hair, instead of the "all over color" as requested. In addition to that, we were charged an extra $50 because she had to use extra foil and product, but we weren't informed there would be an extra charge until the highlights were already halfway done, at which point it was too late! Needless to say, we left disappointed. I called the next day and was able to speak to one of the owner's who was unable to understand the concept of the customer is always right. In this case, she argued that my gf's hair wouldn't have looked good if she got the "all over color", even though I explained to her that she has had it done in the past. Rather than admitting that they should have done the "all over color" to begin with, she offered that they could do more highlights for no additional charge and that was the only option to correct the problem. In the end, we ended up paying full price for a service that we didn't ask for and my girlfriend hating her hair. To me, as a salon, if a customer asks for a hair color, whether it is blonde, purple, blue, or whatever, you do what the customer wants, not what you think is better and then charge them extra for it. Based on other reviews, it seems that this is a trend for this salon and I wouldn't recommend going there unless you don't care what color your hair is after your appointment.
Jodi is awesome, always happy with my hair with for me is saying a lot!! They also have other great services like brow tinting, eyelash extensions and massage to name a few. I have never been disappointed here!
If I could leave a 0/5 review, I would. Do NOT bother coming here. I had my hair colored the wrong color. Definitely not happy with my hair. It looks like I sat in my bathroom on a Friday night and colored it myself. I called and they wouldn't even offer to fix it. They said they would fix it for a charge. Very unprofessional.
Jinnifer has been doing my hair including cut and color for years. My kids both have their hair cut by Jinnifer as well as my boyfriend. I have only been pleased with the services we've received. Friendly employees, clean and welcome environment and professional service. I highly recommend this salon!
Yeah don't even bother with this place. Payed for partial highlights and a hair cut and got 6 foils that were chunky and my mom had to explain to them 3 times how she wanted it and brought pictures.
My boyfriend had a groupon so we decided to use it for my hair, the options were highlights or an all over color and I told him that I did not want highlights at all. I came in to see Tiffany and explained that I wanted to be lifted with an all over. I showed her a couple pics of the color I was thinking, It has been a minute since I had my hair done so I didn't pay her any mind, I trusted her as a professional. she started with foils and I was confused and thought maybe she knew what she was doing( maybe a new way to color?) by the time I realized she was giving me these streaky blonde highlights it was to late to speak up. I have dark hair and she went pretty light so yes, I ended up with hair that matches my pinterest page what you don't want your hair to look like LOL. On top of that she charged my bf additional 55$ which we agreed was absolutely absurd. After finishing my hair she asked if I liked it, I did like the cut just a trim off the bottom and it was what I wanted and I told her that. She asked what I thought about the color and I was not going to lie, I told her I felt like I needed to go to the store and buy a box color and cover up the nasty streaks on my head, rudely she replies " are you serious?" and I said yes and she proceeded to give my bf and I an attitude because we both did not like my hair. My bf called back the salon multiple times and finally heard back from the owner whom was quite disrespectful to him, he asked her if she could have this fixed and the response was that Tiffany could add more highlights free of charge. After discussing this together we decided that more highlights may make me look even sillier and not worth dealing with Tiffany's attitude to be honest. She seems like a good gal, but we felt like she was looking out for herself to make that extra money. I am still very disappointed with my hair and will be seeing my Stylist on the east side of the state to correct the damage. Its unfortunate because all my bf was trying to do is something nice for me I have not done in a while and we feel ripped off and disrespected! It looks nothing like what I wanted!
