Angelini's Italian Restaurant Review

Best Italian around. Been in Turlock many years. My favorite, not on the menu, Tortellini Angelini (or vice versa!)

My family and I went for dinner and it was average at best. The raviolis plate portion was pretty weak and there was nothing that stood out for me. All our dishes were average at best, definitely nothing to brag about.

Staff always there when needed with friendly attitudes excellent food

First dining experience after Covid in Turlock. But before the second wave (update). Italian dishes we had: traditional cheese pizza, clam spaghetti, chicken parmesan, chicken pinata, for appetizers, deep fried zucchini, and calamari. All total with half drinks were 104.50 plus our 25% tip for the prompt and courteous waitress. My dish had small sized clams,see pic,, but forewarned, the pics doesn't do it justice. I liked my dish with with spaghetti size noodles. The clams, which had more than abundance ratio with spaghetti. The kids liked the deep fried
Zucchini, but the calamari, not so much we forgot to ask about type of calamari. We like the small version squid.They brought out the large sized squid. The dishes were 7 out of 10 IMO. Not bad at all
Anyway, As always keep exploring where ever the Gov't tells you is safe.

Angelini's is the only Italian restaurant in Turlock so thank God it's great. A little spendy lately but the cost of good Italian meats and cheeses is high and they don't cheat here. Try the fetachini Angelini if you like cream sauces and wonderful Italian ham...

Such friendly owners and servers. The halibut picatta, melts in your mouth. Never disappoints!! Thanks for years of great dining experiences!!

Food fair bit on exspenive side for Italian food. Service good bread soup was good that about it for me there. Has been better my choice chicken parmesan was terrible cheeese chicken no flavor garlic or anything had better chicken parmesan at Mexican restaurant

Love the food and staff...brings back memories of my grandfather taking me out for our one on one dinners...

Overpriced. 32 dollars for left over cioppino with pasta, pesto and ravioli (5), baby pizza, glass of bad wine, and 1 domestic beer. 80 dollars.

Food and service are always excellent. They have the best Minestrone soup and their spaghetti is excellent .

Hadn't ate here since I was in high school and was really excited to try it again. I did curbside and ordered around 2:30 for a 4:20 pick up well I got there at my time long story short they misplaced my order 25 minutes later waiting in my car I finally got my food with just a sorry about the wait. Something extra offered would have gone a long way. That being said the food wasn't bad. I would have given a higher rating but it was pretty pricey for the service I received also they charged a container fee for my food.

Food was delicious (just wish they bruschetta on the menu) and the service was phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. My husband always asks servers what their favourite dish on the menu is, and sometimes the server has no idea how to respond. Ours today was super helpful, she had categories and i ingredients lined up for my husband based on his craving and he loved the pizza she recommended (paulo's). Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely AMAZING! Service was far beyond my expectations. We visited on Mother s Day without reservations and they were happy to seat us and without burden. We received absolutely wonderful service and the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend Angelini s!

Angelini's is the closest experience to italian food you'll get to here in Turlock. Everything from their waiters to the food is great. Some highlights include; their dinner salad with blue cheese dressing, their soft pillowy bread, and their ravioli.

AMAZING great service and food with great selection

Some of the best Italian food in the valley. Owner and staff are amazing. Service is excellent. Many off menu items... be sure to ask Ed (owner) about these items. Tell them what your craving, you will more than likely end up with it on your plate.

Food is good, except when ordering to go it's always slow. If they say 30 min expect it to be more like 50- 60. They're always friendly, good customer service.

One of the very best Italian restaurants in Turlock. Food is always outstanding, Service and prices are great as well!

I've been there twice with my friend good experience both times. Great servers, very attentive, delish dishes.

After long day at hospital/nursing center we had a great meal. It was closing time but they we so accomodating they stayed open and made fresh coffee with dessert - it was great food with a very kind staff.

The chicken picatta was great and my girlfriend really likes the stromboli. Server was attentive. We enjoyed our lunch visit!

Nice, cozy place with picnic style table clothes. Service/wait staff was good. The food was ok. The sauce for the spaghetti was a notch above Franco American Spaghetti O's. A point for the butter served at room temperature, to better spread on the complimentary bread that was warm, but the crust was hard to bite into. I would not recommend. Why the one start? I can not post a review unless I have at least one star.

Consistently delicious. Sauces and soups are fresh and made from scratch. They dont chince on salads as they use the drk green romaine/spring mix like lettuce. Always a variety of pasta dishes and specials. Crab raviolis, my favorite! Staff super friendly and responsive. Dining in booths with a high back allows for intimacy. Photo of latest special Pappardelle with sausage and beef ragout. Delish!

Amazing service and food. We were still able to eat indoors when we went. It was pretty warm in there so if your a cold all the time, you will fit right in.

I have been going to Angelini's for over 20 years! The family recipes are delicious and the servers are always happy to get your food to you quickly!

I had heard about Angelina's and was wanting to try it for months. Finally, I convinced my wife to give it a try. The restaurant seemed nice, staff was good. The food was nothing special. I had the lasagna, looked and tasted like nothing special. Costco's frozen lasagna is better. My wife had a fettuccine alfredo dish which wasn't even prepared correctly. The alfredo sauce wasnt melted enough and still clumpy. My son had the childs spagetti which I could've made better at home. I wont be coming back.There's a better Italian place down the street.... Oh yeah and it cost $50!! Way overpriced!!

Nice variety of foods with reasonable prices and generous portions but could change the bread. I like breads.

They offer an awesome variety of fresh food. I loved dining here. The employees are always super friendly, pricing is convenient and the place is always well organised.

My Husband and I made reservations for 745 pm however got there at 8 ! Staff was accommodating and service was great ! Authentic Italian food , we had chicken Marsala and salmon. Will definitely be going there again .

Probably the best restaurant in Turlock! My family and I have been going for many years. When I come to visit my family in Cali, Angelini's is one place I love to go. The food is excellent there and the waiters are extremely friendly. This place is such a gift to Turlock!
