Angel islands beauty has no bounds, whether you want to take in the spectacular views of San Francisco or get acquainted with nature during a picnic Angel island will provide memories that will last a life time.
This place is wonderful for camping and also exploring. It is rich in history (both military base and former immigration station are worth a visit) and most of all the views of the city and the bridges cannot be beat. Highly recommended!
Great place to walk/hike/bike/camp, great views, not crowded
The ferry from Sf and Sausalito takes you to the Island. 360 degree views from the middle of the bay. It was the "Ellis Island of the West" so a venture to the Immigration Center is a must. Great hiking. There are campsights that book way in advance. Blacktail deer and many types of birds roam the island. The photos are of the Old Camp and the South/Southwest/West part of the island.
