I thought Mr. Hamburger was being dramatic in his review. BUT he completely nailed it with this part (and basically his whole review):

The chef appeared to be a highly skilled proponent of the "prison food" school of cooking. It felt as if all his years of experience running the kitchen at Guantanamo Bay came together to produce his finest two hours.

This is exactly how it tasted. Also it took forever to get to us. And then it was the wrong dish.

Quite possibly the most mediocre and bland meals ever. Don't waste your time or money at this place. The servers were friendly. Perhaps they have to drink Kool-aid as part of their employment agreement.

Service was fast and super friendly. The chef came out and talked to my husband about making him a special meal since he is vegan and there wasn't any vegan offerings on the menu. The adult portion sizes were big too. I highly recommend it!

We had been hesitant to try this restaurant after seeing the reviews but we are staying at the Hilton and after a long day at the park didn t want to venture far. I must say it was one of the best dining experiences we have had the past week in Orlando. The service was fabulous Tyler was attentive and friendly a great waiter, the food was delicious best I ve had In while cooked perfectly. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try for a great evening and incredible food.

This place is a gem! Great food, great kids menu and polite staff. Service was fast, well timed and the kids loved being able to color all over the paper tablecloth. They also had a "kids eat free" option if you chose an entree or a pasta dish for the adults.
Food was presented beautifully! We will definitely be back.

If you're looking for good food that doesn't have a 3 and a half hour wait like the restaurants across the street at Disney Springs, this is the place! Walk over the skybridge, escape the chaos for a minute and enjoy a great meal. Then simply head back over the bridge and continue your shopping at Disney Springs!

Ate here twice this week. The first day they didn t have any tables for a party of 1 and made me sit at the bar for dinner. There were empty tables all over the place. Have no idea why they couldn t seat me at a table as requested. Hardly any customers. Reluctantly ate here again a few day later because there are not many options when busy while staying at the hotel. Horrible service - nice-ish, but barely around and took forever to get drinks. Food was over priced, simple, ordinary food, not Italian specialty food. Menu was very limited and non-traditional.

The restaurant atmosphere seems outdated. I liked that no one was there so it was nice, personal, and quiet dining experience. Service was great and the food was a bit pricey but tasted alright. Our waiter was able to accommodate all our needs and was able to make some oreo milkshakes that weren't on the menu. But in the end I didnt find the price to be suitable to the foods taste and quality in my opinion. Not 100% sure I'd ever come here again in the future. I feel bad becuase the place must compete with Disney Springs directly across the street with more lively restaurants for probably the same price.

We were staying at the Hilton for the Disney Princ...

We were staying at the Hilton for the Disney Princess half so we decided to carb load here the night before. I asked if there was room for two and after some contemplation the host said yes and asked us to wait for a few minutes at the bar while he prepared a table. The wait at the bar ended up being 15 minutes while we scanned over all the empty tables in the restaurant. The waitress took another 10 minutes to take our drink order, again, with a restaurant that wasn't even half full.

I ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo. When the food arrived my husbands order was wrong and when he said so, she asked him if he was sure. As if we couldn't remember what we ordered. My lasagna was definitely reheated - it had that crispiness around the edges - which is not something I would expect from a restaurant charging me $25 for a plate of lasagna. While we were waiting for our food, a couple had to go find someone to take their drink order after sitting at the table for a long time.

Overall the food was subpar and overpriced, the staff was horrible, the wait times for a half full restaurant were terrible. Don't waste your time here. I would recommend walking the 5 or 10 minutes across the street to Downtown Disney and grabbing food there.

My family and I visited Andiamo for magical dining...

My family and I visited Andiamo for magical dining with friends who were in town escaping hurricane Florence. Unfortunately, given our experience I won't be returning.

We sat down for dinner at 6:30 and didn't leave until almost 9:30. The server took our orders fairly quickly. However, it essentially took an hour for each course to come out.

One member of our party ordered a beverage that wasn't good and wanted to send back, but couldn't because it took our server 45 minutes to come check on us -- and it wasn't even the server who ended up taking the drink away, it was the manager.

We were probably 3/4ths of the way through our meal before he checked in on us and asked how everything was. By that time, the two people who had steak and had it come out the wrong temperature, had eaten most of it, because they had been given no other option of having the mistake corrected. Everything took so long to get out, that by the time the food was on the table, I was no longer hungry and didn't want my food anymore

Somewhere while waiting for dessert our server told us their Baker was extremely backed up and he was checking on the desserts every two minutes. Which, given how many people were, or rather weren't, in the restaurant -- appeared to be an excuse for something else. After a complete lack of service and having to wait an hour for dessert, once the dessert got to the table, and the server asked how the dessert was and he finished with I hope it was worth the wait. Needless to say, that didn't go over well with our table.

When we brought our frustrations to the manager, the only thing he did was make sure our parking was validated so we didn't have to pay. Which, we shouldn't have had to pay in the first place, because they give you a three hour window to validate the parking.

For a party of 7, it's not a cheap tab. $300 can go a long ways and watching that go towards food that was either cooked to the wrong temperature or unable to be eaten because we had to wait so long that some weren't hungry anymore, is really unfortunate. I'm not one to ask for free things, but a simple genuine apology can go a long way and we weren't even given that.

Sadly, I know it wasn't just our table, because unfortunately another table not to far from us were extremely vocal about their same frustrations.

Honestly, if I could give it zero stars I would.

Nice ambiance and very typical style and pricing f...

Nice ambiance and very typical style and pricing for what you would expect in a Hilton restaurant. The portions are respectable, and the menu is varied. However, the food quality was marginal at best, and certainly not up to Hilton standards.
I had the chicken orecchiette, which the waiter corrected me by mis-pronouncing. The chicken was overcooked and tasteless. The orecchiette was nicely cooked, but the sauce needed a little help. Alas, we could not even get the waiter to bring salt and pepper to the table.
My daughter ordered eggplant parmesan which came out very thinly sliced and thus also overcooked. I think the breading was actually thicker than the eggplant.
The kids menu had three choices: pizza, spaghetti, or chicken nuggets. Instead, my son ordered the appetizer portion of shrimp scampi over linguini. They brought him buttered angel hair. Once they corrected the mistake, he only ate the shrimp. The pasta was rendered inedible by floating in butter. On the positive side, there was a generous serving of pasta for an appetizer, but that only underscores how much it was overpowered by the butter.
The service was abysmal. As much as it was clear that this Disney resort-area restaurant doesn't cater to children, it was even clearer that the waiter didn't care for children at all. Once the entrees were out, we got no attention from anyone. Not even to get our water refilled. Not even once.
Excluding the mandatory 18% gratuity (we were dining with friends), dinner for 4 was $85 for three entrees and an appetizer. No drinks.
Skip this restaurant, especially if you have any respect at all for Italian food. Even an Olive Garden would be preferable to the bad food and poor service here.

Had a a great dining experience today at Andiamo. Our waiter Tyler was professional, friendly, and made our experience fun. The food surpassed our expectations! Every person in our party had something different and yet everyone was extremely happy with their meal. I would highly recommend this place to all of you who read this. I will definitely be back very soon!
