I used Anderson Security for my daughter s wedding this last weekend. The guard was prompt, polite, uniform clean and did exactly what we needed him to do. I was very impressed with his professionalism and will use Anderson again.

By far the most unprofessional company I have interviewed for. The girl at the front was not at the desk so I sat outside for over 7 minutes waiting for someone to let me in. She did not seem to know what to do, she spent her time conversing with another employee while I waited to ask her a question. She seemed super annoyed that I needed her assistance. She was very touchy feely with another employee while i waited, and it made me uncomfortable, he looked uncomfortable as well. Although I was hoping to get hired on the spot, as i heard the company did , I decided to look for employment elsewhere.

I worked for this company for 8 yrs and they were friendly and accommodating to me. They have pride in customer service both internally and externally. The management was great and the dispatch center was very helpful to me when I called in. Highly recommend Anderson Security.

The Arizona Assisted Living Homes Association used Anderson Security at its annual conference last year. The guard was timely, professional and courteous. And, the appearance of a security guard gave the conference a very professional appearance. We had a parking incident that could have escalated, but was resolved because the guard was present and intervened. Thank you Anderson Security!

The people complaining in this review are probably the people who said no to work or had special conditions that limited their schedule. This company gave me all the work I could handle at a great rate of pay. Always resolved any issues and even let me work for an extra month after I had quit and left to CA. I needed money badly and called them, they put me to work immediately once I arrived back in AZ. Must be well groomed, shoes shined and uniform pressed or expect a write up. Expectations are high, which is a good thing because it weeds out those who are not serious about their work.

I have been working for Anderson for four months now and this is my first security job. I have to say I have seen nothing but professionalism at every turn. I am looking for a career change and I have been put through some extensive training in these last few months including basic guard card class, CPR and basic first aid certification to just this past week my armed guard certification which for those people that claim Anderson is unprofessional they require 40 hours of classroom, range and simulator training where AZDPS only requires 16 hours of training to become armed. My schedule has been flexible if needed and I have all of the hours I want. John Curry is an excellent instructor and a tremendous asset to the Anderson team and Scott Carter has to be the most easy going boss I have ever worked for, easy to approach and speak with. I'm looking forward to a long career with Anderson.

Mostly, *mostly* average as far as security companies go. To their credit, it seems like they try but they're ultimately detached from what goes on at the ground level. They send out "satisfaction surveys" but never address any responses. I found it morbidly hilarious and insulting every time we (where my contract was) got one of these.
Their policy of appearing like para-police is also eyebrow-raising worthy for those who work at industrial sites and outlying posts with dirt. Just come out and say it, Anderson Ltd., you need them (your ground-level employees) to be free advertising, no more, no less. Their manual states "a clean shave will give the officer the confidence they need to do their job" or something like that. Poor reasoning; don't insult our collective intelligence. I wonder if they can hear me from the 1940's...?

Definitely one of the worst companies to work for....

Definitely one of the worst companies to work for. I was job hunting two weeks after being hired. Thankfully, I work for a hotel chain now. Anyway, at Anderson there is no serious interview process. Anderson uses a rank structure to make their employees feel like cops/military and not security guards which we all are. Dumb.
If you are working on an SRP site, the only good thing to come out of it is the pay and the downtime to do homework if you're a student. Don't expect to be allowed to leave your post to get something to eat. But, it depends on your leadership, too. Nelson was great about letting you leave as long as someone was nearby to watch it. I ended up just leaving on my own since the supervisors are spread thin and couldn't be everywhere at once :P You can sleep on post too if you play your cards right but don't get caught because not only will they take a picture, they will fire you on the spot. Lol they brief this on the first day. Don't ever call dispatch for anything because they will not help you. I ask for a supervisor and they wouldn't send one out.

Horrible business. I had to contact my supervisor multiple times just to get hours. He set multiple appointments average wait time of 40 minutes. He forgot our meetings multiple times and one time he was not even in the office. This was all before I received a schedule. They also make you deposit $250 or $40 per paycheck for their used uniforms and then they charge you $20 when you return them as a dry cleaning fee. They constantly lose their contracts so job security is poor and there are no benefits to speak of. The advertised pay on Indeed is misleading because they only pay a few on call people that amoun. Overall poor business to work for.

Waist of time & resources to seek out employment for. No experience position, doesn't mean you raise the bar really high. I was looking for a job, not headache. You don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Which is why I don't just take anything that comes at me. Their suspicious of you, but yet; they have a television screen in their waiting room, running all the latest local criminals & pedifilers. I realize we are security guards. That's correct. But are you going to stick us in places where these ads that have these familiar characters on your ads run all day there in your office? Hmmmmm. Observe & Report that it. Especially for no money an hour!

Dont apply here for any means

Dont apply here for any means
they drop your hours then tell you its your fault
then your get a staffing report
and find out the problem is a contract
example Power Ranch in Gilbert AZ
pay when I was there 10.50 a hour
for writing tickets to residnets that did not park there cars on the driveways
Now its 10;00 a hour
takes them 3 weeks to get a tire fixed
and far as a call back for get it
There fine as long thing goes there way
but when it dont watch out
they still owe me 140 uniform deposit
Go Esle Where

This morning I was in a community to meet with a client for the first time. I missed the turn into her neighborhood and had to make a u-turn. 30 minutes into meeting with this homeowner and giving her an estimate for 3 new air conditioners potentially a $20,000 project Capt. Sean Yonts appears in this homeowners backyard, interrupts us and demands to speak to the owner of the Tundra. "That is me I say". Clearly I'm with a homeowner and he says "you need to come with me and leave the premises!". How embarrassing for me and even the homeowner was very uncomfortable. He insisted I didn't check in with the front gate because a camera caught me doing a u-turn and briefly driving down a one-way on accident. I explained how I did check in. He called and verified on speaker in front of us and the homeowner. I apologized and said I'm sorry it was an accident. But to Mr. Capt. I was now his pray and he was hungry! The appointment obviously went to heck at this point. The homeowner and I were very uncomfortable and really could not focus on the point in hand. The security officer tried to remove me from the backyard but the homeowner said "we are almost done please let him finish." After the appointment the security guy is waiting for me in front of the house to cite me for what was clearly a mistake. I apologized numerous times for having made this mistake but he didn't care.
At the end of the day I'm not terribly concerned with the $100 citation more the extreme unprofessionally of this company and that the way he handled this very well may have cost me a $20,000 job. I will pay my violation fee and pursue this company for damages to my business legally.

I worked for these guys around 7 years ago, I had to leave to work with my families own business. They provided me with quite a lot of work, almost always got more hours if I wanted them. Like any business: if you're flexible and accept offers they will turn to you when they need help. If you're picky and turn down posts left and right: they will not give you as many good posts, it's all about how much you're able to help them out. Great company, the owner is great and active. After a month I got 2 perm. posts which kept me busy and active.

My car was taken from a shopping center today @ 35th ave and Thunderbird at around 12 o'clock today. I asked the gaurd that was there if he saw anything and he tell me no and just laughs. Why did they hire security gaurd that dont even do their job. I was parked maybe 15 feet from the gaurd asked him if he saw anything unusual he say no but my truck was taken probably right in front of his eyes. Anderson Security sucks I would not recommend them to anyone. They might not do their job correctly.

I worked there on and off for 6 months or less. The Director Ms. Castaneda previously was a Lieutenant, had always issues with female officers. She did everything possible to make my and other female officers life miserable and as difficult as she could. She harassed every female officer who comes to her territory. She even called on me to Unemployment Office, and reported me as I was refusing a job offers. That bad she was and will stay that way. I complaint to HR which is located in Phoenix, Arizona. They took the time to listen me, but they did not follow up on the resolution. Instead, they promoted her as a director of the Las Vegas, NV office. So, my advice to you, Go and work for Securitas or AlliedBarton Security Cooperations. This is the worst Security Company in Las Vegas, NV.
Secondly, My advice for companies," please do not hire this company because you will be sorry later." They do not train or inform their officers. They throw them to your business place instead.
