I really really love district 5 , they go above and beyond to help kids , and families in need. They all are so sweet and kind. This is my first year being in this district and I love it so much already
My child had problems with her Chromebook during Virtual Academy. I called the IT Department, & Gary was amazing help over the phone. We still ended up going to the District 5 Office for further assistance, but he remembered the issues & got my child a loaner Chromebook. We were in & out in less than 10 mins! Great group of people working in IT! Very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable!
Just one person there, friendly! It felt safer then crowded places, one customer at a time!
Dr. Hudson is unprofessional and careless. I've tried to reach him several times for the past month when I was told he was the only one who could handle my situation with my child. He never called to speak to me . Never answers my call. He's always gone for the " day". And one desk lady says he's there and someone else says he isn't. So I feel like they are just playing games to avoid him talking to me . I have gone to the superintendent and I will be going further higher up with this.
This is the worst school district I've been in. What a shame . And they don't take bullying seriously even though they claim so
The superintendent could try to use his brain more.
Oh, the stories I could tell. I ve worked for A5 for sometime and my kids don t go to any A5 schools. Even though I live near two A5 schools.
To bad the students didn't learn to spell panther !
I feel like they should open past 4:30 because my neice was dropped off at the wrong address and forced to get off the bus when she informed the bus driver that was not her address, and my nephew is past a hour late and we have nobody to call to check and see if he's ok. This is ridiculous!!
I was trying to get my daughter back into in person school a week before school start. They were supposed to send me a email. Never got it. Went down there to speak in person. They listen to my issue and said they we call/email. NEVER GOT ONE. No we have to do online school watch she isn't doing well. It's not just names on a paper. It's parents trying to do there best for there kids. I should have gotten that email in time so I could have found a better option!
My child loves this school but with 2 laser temperature guns to use during this virus. I owen 3 an there not Expensive. Great school tho.
