DO NOT do business with this company. Zyskind, and Karfunkel family are all crooks they have a history of shady business dealings, ruined company's and have devastated 1000's of people financially. They routinely cooked the books by under funding reserves while over stating profits. It was all a house of cards until it all came crashing down. The only reason they went private was to keep from going to jail.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! VERY MONEY HUNGRY INSURANCE COMPANY. Always raising my premium unjustly. Cant wait to find a better insurance company and take my business elsewhere. Love to audit and backcharge as well. Horrible company.
I asked Amtrust/Wesco for a quote and they signed me up as an insured customer without my permission. I was already insured by Liberty Mutual at the time. Then they proceeded to send me to collection for 2 months worth of insurance, for which I was already being covered by Liberty Mutual. Their over the phone support system is atrocious and their staff is rude. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
The worst customer service I ever had. Every year your policy goes up, even if you have no accident or violation. Farther more, they billed on a canceled policy two-and a half years later without any explanations, just argue with you and threatening you for collection if you not pay them what they want. No apology for late billing, no explanation!!! Very frustrating and disappointing that i have ever deal with them.
My advise who has a insurance with this company, be careful when you try to cancel insurance with Am Trust North America!!! They will do everything to bill you "up to the roof".

Terrible insurance company. Wouldn t help me with structural damage of my couch. Ashley Home Store are doing what they can to get AmTrust to help me!!!
Do not use for California Worker's Compensation. Them along with Select Solutions Insurance services failed to provide adequate information about coverage requirements. Thus giving them the ability to charge exuberantly after an audit. Purposefully providing low premium estimates to entrap. If in California, recommend Sate Fund. They provide all the info you need from the beginning so you can make an informed decision and not be robbed a year later.
Poor coordination when they roll over changes. Took 5 phone calls to resolve an issue, and still no resolution.
Amtrust has really helped me with my Insurance. The employees are amazing, and they serve lunch everyday from their in office cafeterias. I highly recommend becoming a policyholder at AmTrust Financial Services as they have offices all over the world.
