Volunteered here for work...was so wow-ed by the folks who run this operation. They are so passionate all about what they do daily not to mention the food they prepare is no joke! The manager of the place who has been managing for years couldnt wait to tell me how he prepared his pork etc. Tgey are all so friendly and non judgemental to the people who go there off the street to eat. It was so wonderful to witness such compassion and kindness. Great vibe here, everyone working here was happy giving and hard working. I will be back ti assist again and again.

Amos House is definitely a place where you can get your life back on track.

An exceptional recourse for the Providence community, offering services, and training to local residents. Also an excellent soup kitchen with food cooked by proffesional chefs and volunteers, feeding hundreds of people a day.

There is lunch served for the homeless at noon and breakfast at 7-8 am. There is an NA meeting there Friday night.

If you're looking for help or a snack or a full meal Amos house is the place to go help you with social services I'm investing your life and impact your thinking and decision-making ability they serve you with love and kindness and they have so much to offer people that are struggling

Love this overgrowing organization!!!! All are welcome of all walks of life! It's a comfortable setting and even more so after the renovations were completed

RI's largest soup kitchen for starters. The also have several training programs and you can receive your mail there is you have no residence. If you need help with anything under the sun, chances are, the Amos House can help!

When you're homeless, hungry, and not only on need of food but resources to help you back on your feet...

IT helps people in need of shelter and they help people with addictions. It's a great place to get yourself together. I got nothing but respect for the Amos House.

30 years ago when I was downtrodden young guy this place really supported me and so so many more people and still to this day they still rise to the occasion

This place is amazing the work the people do here and the care they give is amazing we donated breads for Thanksgiving for the last 5-6 year's and hope to do it for as long as we can wish I had pics of the place but the place is priceless

Great place for the homeless population free breakfast and lunch Mon thru Fri, Clothing donations, Culinary Arts, Customer Service, Building Trades certificate programs. Reunification programs for parents as well as transitional housing.

Lots of services, including meals (breakfast, lunch), vouchers for IDs and mailing address for homeless people.

Went there the other day for a graduation. Can't say enough about the people that run this operation dedicated to helping people that everybody else has forgotten about.

Amos House is great. Feeding the homeless hot meals is just the start. You usually get bread to bring home with you and on certain days you can even get fresh danish to bring home. They are known for much more but I can't go into it because I'm not knowledgeable about everything else they do. Overall a great program for the homeless

The staff was amazing. And the building has completely different. Amos house is truly an amzing place for the homeless. The food was better then sone resturants. Providence is blessed to have this facility

The women sober home was a disgrace. Kitchen was old and falling apart. only one working shower for the entire house of 15 women. Bed bugs bad. The food that we all bought we could not eat the leftovers. They rotten in the fridge and thrown out on Wednesdays. Sitting down for the evening meal was like a war. Greed and selfishness at the dinner table ruled the house. You can never get enough to eat. I would never recommend this place to anyone who is looking for help. Better off going to the Salvation Army. I did and it was the best thing I ever did.

All that money they got and all they did was make a new office, campus and caffiteria. Nothing to the Men and Women sober housing to improve their way of living while going through the 90 day programs. They have to pay rent to stay in those nasty houses.

Amazing place where you can get more than just a meal you can get job training and much much more. This place is truly a blessing to everyone and anyone.

It is a nonprofit organization that helps people that are struggling with addiction and or homelessness get back on track to lead a productive and meaningful life.I can't say enough about what good amps house has son for the community.

This is a charitable organization feeding the poor and homeless. They have been here a long time and are well respected.

Very good outreach for the community in general (soup kitchen), new facility and location. It has programs for the people in disadvantage and homeless people to get back into the community.

Free breakfast and lunch nearly every day a fantastic asset to Providence community. Recent breakfast of scrambled eggs with ham and spicy home fries with very good packaged pastry was delicious. Thank you Amos House!

The staff are professional and over all genuine. Amos House is a Blessing. The team keeps on growing on me, from when I first arrived it felt casual. And now I don't feel as much of a stranger like I thought I was to the area. They Really do care!

It's a soup kitchen that serves breakfast and lunch. They also have employment services, like they'll help you with your resume and job training.

This place is the best. The staff is always happy. Everything is clean. They over daily breakfast and lunch which is delicious. They truly care and respect anyone that enters their doors. Wish every place was like this.

The Amos house is all that anyone would ever need besides God to help them gain and build a structured life. The programs are very good and the staff that assist each indervidual that are apart of the academics there are truly helpful and attentive.
Anyone that truly desires to help thier self become someone greater should become apart of the Amos house program. To learn is to grow and to grow is to be apart of the Amos house.

Under the circumstances this place overall provides many services for people in need I would go there myself in my times of need

I wish I had more experience with this place. I heard they help with lots of training programs, especially with your GED.
