Just visited the Okeechobee location for the first time. Was given seven chips in my basket (literally), asked for more, I was given seven more (literally), asked for more and then was given seven more (again, literally.) When I asked for another basket, I was told it would be $3.50. The manager at this location was surly and did not seem to be overly concerned, as he told me that the chips were complementary and I should appreciate that they are free, in spite of the fact that I bought a $20 dinner. The skimpy baskets they gave me to start with did not equate to even one basket that I saw being put on other diners' tables. After eating at their Congress Avenue location dozens of times before they closed it up, I am very disappointed. I will not be back to amigos, and will be sure to tell all my Mexican food-loving friends not to bother, especially as there are 30+ Mexican restaurants in west palm beach. Adios.

This place is horrible it used to be good, but I don t know what happened the only thing that was fresh was the lettuce and tomato on the side. Everything is stale old and rotten after we left my husband felt sick and nauseous after eating the stale meat and freezer burn chili rellano The last time I will ever go there, and they didn t even try to make up for their mistake because they knew the food was no good. Wouldn t give this food to my dog

I ordered the Tropical Margarita to pair with the Chicken Enchiladas Las Casas and let me tell you, I've have home cooked mexican food before but this takes the cake!
You first are served an amazing margarita that isn't too sweet or too sour but perfect, then you are served chips, salsa and beans before your entrees arrive to which you will definitely get a healthy portion of rice and beans.
You won't go wrong choosing this place as a meal destination. Perfect for a date or family function.

The people were very nice and quick to bring the food. Many different mexican plates and all very yummy. The only thing that bothers me is the chips they first bring out, they are stale. With a little bit of salt or the sauces they bring out the chips are very good. We had some pricing issues but they were also very fast to fix the problems. Food was great and i would come here again.

I went with a friend who referred me. We started with a meal at 3:30 PM on Saturday February 1, 2020. We drank a house margarita for $5.50 (Non-Happy Hour Price). We did a shot of SOUZA for $8 each. At 4pm, happy hour started. (Happy Hour is 4pm - 7:30pm Daily). We continued house margaritas at $3.50 each for a while. We purchased a pitcher of margaritas and had 1 more shot. Bill was $127.58. I gave $153 with tip. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas and they were very tasty. My friend ordered 1 item combo. The Hot Salsa & Warm Black Bean Dip is the best. The spicy salsa has a hint of Jalapeno seeds, Tomatoes, Cilantro and Goodness... The mens bathroom looks like a bathroom from a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Yet, the food & service are way to good. I went for my 1st time with a friend and walked out paying $150 after spending 5 hours of drinking.... Well worth it. If you're looking for an affordable GREAT Mexican restaurant, you need to come here. Wednesday is $0.99 House Margaritas from 4pm-7:30pm. Regular price $5.50, other night Happy Hour is $3.50. You save $4.50 on Wednesday night's. I'll be back again! The food is AMAZING! The chips and Hot, Not Hot salsa are awesome! The Black Bean dip is only good warm. If you like the hot salsa, they can sell large containers, if you ask....

It gave me the impression that they have the food ready and they put it to heat, I did not like the atmosphere of the place. And the decoration is very ugly! There is no reference to the dishes on the menu, so you don't know what your order will look like.

I have been a fan of this place for years. This is where REAL Spanish food is served!! Very traditional "mom and pop" style restaurant. The service is always top notch, and the food is always extraordinary. Jesus has worked there for a long time, and is usually my server. He is the best! I will be coming back as long as they are around. Where else do you get served 3 homemade dips with your chips before you eat? Is all the little things that count.

In my opinion best Mexican food in West Palm Beach Bar None.
We went to Rosalita's last week off Lantana Road, the food at Rosalita's was terrible.
At Amigos the service is great, and the food tastes authentically Mexican and is always delicious and served very fast.
Highly recommended

Not a bad quick option for a lunch if you're thinking Cuban. The rice and beans were very good, and the sweet plantains were also pretty good. The steak needed some work, it was a little tough and overcooked. Also the Flan was not the best. I did enjoy the cortadito though. All in all, an ok experience but not the best Cuban spot. I may return if in the area for lunch.

My family and I decided to order to go food from here to end a busy day and my last day of vacation with them. When we got home, they had given me the wrong food. I had had them repeat my order too just to verify. When I called back to tell them and try to get the right food, they just kept insisting it is what I ordered, when I don t even like the item that was given. Was really disappointed that I didn t get to eat with my family.

Don't understand many of the reviews here. Been going to Amigos for the last 7 years, food has always been great, good atmosphere, great chips and salsa(get the spicy one). Very fast service as well. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Beach County.

Right so to start off, it was way more food than i expected. I ordered the La Casa Burrito and whoa it was a lot more food than I expected. I actually thought the burrito would have the vegetables and stuff inside it but it didn't maybe because I didn't read it that well. Oh well that's on my it isn't a complaint. Rice was nice, the chicken was a lot of chicken it was packed.

The food was pretty good. Just a bit pricey. However they have wonderful deserts and wonderful staff. Especially the female waitress (sorry I didn't get your name!!) She is an Excellent server.
And the deserts are quite tasty.

Just found out the name of the lovely server her name is Nancy and she was just lovely!!!

8/10 above average.

Weird ambiance with sloppy handwriting on walls and it's way too dark in there. Also, very slow service (35 min to get food; they weren't busy!) and sub par food. Will not be returning, nor do I recommend this place.

Slow service, staff talked badly about myself and guests they did so in Spanish assuming we wouldn't know what they were saying.

Between the four dishes we ordered one was undercooked, one had parts burnt.

Their idea of cheese dipping sauce is nacho bag cheese reheated in a microwave, probably the worst dining experience we have ever had, got our hotel to stop recommending them as well.

This restaurant was been at this location forever....

This restaurant was been at this location forever. Not sure how they survive with such mediocre mexican/spanish food. I have visited mexico numerous times and consider myself a well travelled. I visited this restaurant over 12 yrs ago and the food was medicore at best, fast forward to present and the food is worse. The margaritas were horrible, the service was extremely slow for a restaurant that had only 3 tables filled, the shrimp cocktail appetizer was horrible, my breaded steak if that's what you want to call it was the worse I have EVER had, the steak was paper thin, not sure what the breading consisted of but I wouldn't call it breading. I hate to give any restaurant a bad review these days as I know everyone is struggling but there way too many restaurants in Palm Beach county these days and this place needs to step up to the plate, so to speak. I work hard for my money and when I go out and spend it I expect to get good quality food. Sadly this was not the case at Amigos! Mexican/Spanish food isn't complicated to cook, they are just being lazy and serving poor quality food. I will not re-visit Amigos again.

CHIPS STALE

CHIPS STALE
REGULAR SALSA BLAND; THE HOTTER ONE A LITTLE BETTER BUT NOT BY MUCH
MARGARITA BITTER
LG. PORTION OF A TO GO ORDER OF SPANISH RICE WOULD NOT FEED A TODDLER
ASKED FOR PEPPERS TO BE LEFT OF OF A MEAL AND MEAL CAME WITH PEPPERS..ISN'T IT THE WAITERS RESPONSIBILITY TO BE SURE FOOD SERVED CORRECTLY?? THE FLAVOR OF THE PEPPERS ON THERE THAT I PICKED OFF RUINED THE FLAVORS OF FAJITAS SOMEWHAT. NO CORRECTION OFFERED. A SHAME AS THE FAJITAS WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT
ASKED FOR NAPKINS, 10 MINUTES LATER STILL NONE- ASKED WAITER RE: THIS AND HE DID NOT EVEN SAY 'SORRY'
NEVER AGAIN
FOR FUTURE DINING TO ALL : HIGHLY ( !!!) RECOMMEND MEXICAN RESTAURANT ON CORNER OF OKEECHOBEE & ROYAL PALM BEACH BLVD. WORTH THE EXTRA FEW MILES....OR TORRO'S ON VILLIAGE BLVD.-ALSO VERY GOOD & CLOSER FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO GO TO RPB
