I had An amazing life changing experience here. I came in broken and feeling horrible about myself. The professional staff greeted me with love and made me feel hopeful once again. I would highly recommend this location for anyone that is struggling with drugs and alcohol. It s a clean safe place with an amazing staff.
I just left Amethyst and it was a fantastic experience. The staff are all wonderful. They provide medically assisted treatment, chiropractic, massage, karaoke, movie nights, etc. They also helped place me into a wonderful facility for the next level of care. I d absolutely recommend Amethyst to anyone and everyone who is interested in starting their recovery journey!
The facility was top notch, but the most important aspect of my experience was the caring staff! They went above and beyond to help me, support me, encourage me, and educate me. Was so glad I went.. Everyone that works there is amazing. I've been home about a week now. I actually miss the staff. The dedication to helping those in need, is most sincere. Saved my life.
I came into Amethyst Recovery Center with $140 dollars cash in my pocket. When I am set to leave after going through the program, I am given $100 dollars back and told that the other $40 is in some safe that they can't access at this time and that it will be mailed to me within the next week. It has now been over 3 months and I have not received the money. I have called 10 -15 times and spoken to 4 or 5 different employees who have all written my address down and told me that their boss will have to handle the issue. I called again today just to be told again that the supervisor isn't available. Its obvious that they aren't taking the matter seriously at all and that I will never get my money back. I know it's just 40 bucks, but it's the principle of the matter that bothers me. What if it would have been more money? If they'll take 40 then they'll take $400. They only hold $100 at the actual place you are checked in at so anything else just disappears I guess. Any place that is shady with money, I wouldn't trust with my health or anything else for that matter. So just keep that in mind if you are thinking about coming to Amethyst. Leave your wallet at home.
Incredible staff and facility! I have worked in the substance abuse industry for 7 years. I'm very critical of patient safety while simultaneously being able to have the ability to provide excellent care. Amethyst has done this flawlessly!
If you are looking for help/care for yourself or a loved one you have found the answer. As a professional in the industry and having been a patient i can't begin to emphasize the importance of this decision.
There are so many options but so few can do what Amethyst has done, with morals and patient care being number one this should be your only choice.

Do not reach out to this treatment facility and give them your personal phone number or email when only asking questions about the program and trying to decide what treatments options are best for yourself. Staff will continually call and borderline harass you by calling and texting announcing we are checking in on how you are doing) evening calling at 9:09pm EST. After politely explaining my personal doctor wanted to try a medicated supervised approach as he didn t feel my addiction met an inpatient treatment center; I was basically told all doctors are just quick to throw some pills at you and that I really needed to be in a controlled environment with the care of Amethyst WITHOUT even taking their over the phone assessment for them to even know what I needed. I personally feel this all was a sales pitch for a money hungry business and didn t care at all what I may be dealing with. Strongly considering popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate my decision NOT to commit to any program that the pushy staff at Amethyst has to offer.
Was forced to come here a couple of times by my family. The facility is decent and clean and the staff was nice. However, they have very shady business practices. They try to keep you there as long as humanly possible to milk your insurance and never give you a discharge date. I was there for more than two weeks. Most of us have jobs and families to go back to. You basically have to throw a tantrum for anything to get done and only then will they send you to Johnny s office only for them to convince you to stay longer. Not only did my insurance pay out close to 60k but also billed me for MORE nonsense charges after promising me that insurance covers everything and there is no out of pocket cost. Of course when you sign the terms, you re all whacked out and aren t comprehending what you re actually signing. Discharge planner Kaylin was less than useless and never helped me with anything upon leaving to the next step. The fact that most of these positive reviews were made with new accounts tells me they were either bought or created in house. I wouldn t recommend coming here. Place is basically an elaborate scam.
