I took the 10-day NMLS course and found the content good to follow. I had previous knowledge of the mortgage industry but needed to complete the required course work before I could take my NMLS exam. After comparing AMI to other industry standards, I found that AMI offered the greatest value. At the start of my course, I encountered a timing issue and needed to extend my course a few days. My instructors did not have any issues with being able to extend out my course deadline. I am very thankful for that. Three weeks after completing the Ameritrain SAFE NMLS course, I was able to pass my NMLS exam with an 86% (first time test taker). Thank you Carlo and Marie for being great on-line instructors!

The CE is class was fantastic, and the instructor will keep you awake and laughing. I will definitely do my CE class here again.

Horrible online course. It was supposed to be instructor led but the instructor didn't post the materials for over an hour after the start time and my day was wasted.

Glitchy system, you end up listening the exact same instruction numerous times, modules get stuck and I had to retake the same nonsense 3-4 times, and customer service is non-existent. I would avoid

I took the two day prep class with Cousin Carol and utilized all of the resources provided (binder, virtual flash cards and practice exams). I passed with an 85 on my first attempt. This class is a must for anyone preparing to take the exam. I will use them for CE in the future.

Ameritrain's courses were easy to follow, and very thorough. Because of my experience, I knew some of the material, but I learned so much more. I passed the MLO test today, on my very first try. Carol does an amazing job! CE classes are never the most enjoyable experience, but Carol brings energy, entertainment and info to her classes!!

I used kaplan for the Realtor test, and now I've used Ameritrain for mortgage test. Being able to compare the two - Ameritrain is so much better due to instructors like Carol. It's also a lot cheaper, and the help you get from them is quite surprising - Carol was always available and would return communication within minutes (even on weekends). I had a problem with the Kaplan program glitching, and I had a glitch problem with Ameritrain program too... However, Carol took ownership over the issue and handled everything to my satisfaction. Kaplan didn't help at all, they charged a fortune, and the material taught didn't seem to match AT ALL what was on the Realtor test. In contrast, I just took the NMLS test and passed with flying colors. The schooling was very thorough, prepared me extremely well for the licensing test, but what I liked most about Ameritrain over Kaplan was their summary pages that you could print out - they were perfect cheat sheets to look over in the parking lot and cram just before the actual test - seemed like the cheat sheets were taken right off of the official test :) Like I said - they prepared me very well. I mean really - it was as though they took real questions right from the test! Kaplan, on the other hand, didn't prepare me AT ALL - I felt lost on the Realtor exam. Important note: if you're deciding on in-class vs. online - both kaplan and Ameritrain purposely make you wait a required amount of time before you can click "next" on the PowerPoint-like slides. I think that's built in as a licensing requirement; otherwise, I'm sure there would be a market for people to cheat and hire someone to take the class for you. But with the wait, it's not worth it for the cheating test taker to have to wait for so long. Anyway, i would suggest taking the online class, because it perfectly prepared me, and I think it's much quicker than the in-class program, and you can log in any time (even after midnight), and you don't have to drive anywhere, and it works. Good luck on the test! Choose Ameritrain if you want to pass, if you want inexpensive prices, and of course - because you'll get teachers that really care about you and your success and will work hard and diligently to make sure you're happy. I've used ameritrain for my CE and prelicensing classes for the last 4years. In addition to be full or valuable information. The in person CE classes are always lively and entertaining, so need for an energy drink here. The prelicensing online courses are also easy to follow. As long as I need a mortgage class, I will also choose Ameritrain.

Strongly recommend Ameritrain Mortgage Institute. Cousin Carol is an excellent instructor. I took an 8 hour cramp course teaching by Instructor Cousin Carol and passed the National Test at my first attempt. The class was very helpful!

I teetered between two and three stars. Leaves a lot to be desired for me. To begin I've carved out today to complete my CE and module 8 has stopped working so I can't move forward. they promise someone will call you within 60 minutes and so far I've put in two calls and one emailed help ticket within the last 95 minutes with no response. So I'm wasting my day sitting by my computer, can't move forward, just waiting. In addition there seems to be several items that aren't great. To name two; it's a US related class but the narration is being done via a computerized voice with an English/ Australian accent. There is no pause button as you are going through the modules. The first two modules had one but nothing after that. If you need to pause, you can't, you have to let it run out and then go back to the beginning.

Its course is good to cover all topics in the exam. It comes free with question which are good. I did all the questions and practice . after I pass the exam, I find out I need extra two hours education, the assistant Herman helped me to add it to the package immediately. very good service.

Not what is advertised. Online CE's are not available upon completion of purchase. They don't disclose it until after you pay. It directs you to another website and then you are required to register at a new website. Then you have to wait for someone who knows where to manually add the class to your dashboard. If they don't you have to call them to get it added. This can take hours... What a joke. I have already requested my refund.

Fun class! Carol is very entertaining! CE is normally a drag but she makes it fun! No testing!!

After comparing a few courses available this one was the one that I found more interactive, It was really easy to follow, they have a sample class which I really recommend you to watch it before going somewhere else.

I am taking the Live CE MLO Course with Cousin Carol. Great Instructor, Great Discussion and Great Course.

I enrolled in the 20 hour online MLO course. I've got to say it was a lot of information. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure what to study to pass the test since I obviously couldn't study everything. So, I also enrolled in a special Tutoring package. I got three one hour personal tutoring calls, access to a great deal of flash cards, and three practice exams. It was this piece that I am sure helped me pass the exam on my first try - which was a major deal since I'm am totally new to the industry. Thank you for all of your help and support Ameritrain!

I highly recommend Ameritrain. I took the 20 hour Safe MLO class with Carol. She was a fantastic instructor and made 20 hours of online learning a fantastic experience. She also prepared me for the exam and I passed 3 days later with a score in the 90s. I will be returning to Ameritrain for all my continuing education and hope I get to learn from Carol in the future!!!

Ameritrain was a great part of my journey with getting my education. Ms. Carol was very knowledgeable and helpful, I really liked the 2 day classes a lot. Having a notebook and material in front of me was a key. I like to have the tangibility and ability to highlight.

Great program. Passed the National test with an 89 yesterday ! Time frame for studying and then taking the test was about 2 weeks . I failed the test 3X back in 2012. Passed it the first try after choosing Ameritrain (used a different course provider in 2012). I took the 10 day online course. The modules were designed so you would retain the information and not just skip through it . Like anything you have to put time into what you want to succeed at . I have read people complaining about different things they didn t like about the course however you get out what you put in . After going through the modules I read the PDF s over and over for each module and took the practice quiz s over as well along with my final practice exam . I would highly recommend this company to prepare you for the exam.

I took my SAFE MLC Pre-License courses at Ameritrain and the process easy and the price was great. My instructor, Carol, was great. The three day class was engaging and interactive. I learned so much from her teaching style. I took the SAFE MLO National Test and I passed it with at score of 84%. I encourage you to make Ameritrain Mortgage Institute the school of choice for your educational needs. You won't go wrong.

Herman was amazing. He helped me prepare for my 2nd attempt at the NMLS Test by giving me studying tactics that allowed me to study more effectively. My first attempt at the NMLS Test I got a 67% but with Herman's help I was able to pass with a 80%! I highly recommend using Herman if you need help with finding better ways to study for the NMLS!

I've used Ameritrain as my CE source for several years. The live course for CE is great. Carol makes the day fun as opposed to a necessary evil. For me, retention is MUCH better than watching a computer screen for that many hours.

I took my 20 hour pre-licensing course back in March, about a week before COVID shut everything down including my exam date. Fast forward 4 months later, I had to study from the beginning again. My notes were so detailed from Cousin Carol that I was able pick back up, study hard and I m happy to say I m part of the 59% that passed the exam on the first time! Thanks Ameritrain for giving me a great foundation and introduction into the mortgage Industry.

I had a wonderful experience working with Ameritrain!! Cousin Carol was very informative and her personality was great!! I really felt like she was my cousin.

the CE was not worth the money, even though it is cheap. The website is full of glitches which make you redo the same sections over and over. Many of the test questions make no sense, the same instructions are repeated over and over. most of the training is a computer voice reading the text on screne while the same instructions are repeated every few pages. It will get the job done eventually but it will take about 2 times as much time to navigate through this messy, and unprofessional junk pile. if you are really short on cash and have nothing but time it might be worth doing your CE through them.

I had a last minute class to complete today. Your team helped me get that finished and posted/ cleared with NMLS before deadline. Thx

Fantastic experience, which resulted in a pass on the first try! Cousin Carol makes the whole class as interesting as mortgage law can possibly be, and is clearly very invested in each individual student's success. She made the concepts much more consumable and gave great tips for test taking. Absolutely worth the money and worth traveling from out of state!

i was new to the industry and feel like the online course did a terrible job preparing me for the exam. much of the material is cut and paste into "magazines" that are difficult to read. i would recommend doing the coursework with another vendor. i found other tools (book purchased from amazon, and an online test prep site waayyy more useful than the ameritrain materials.

Love the courses with instructor Raelene in Hawaii. Grueling 8 hours but with her wit and added humorous mortgage related trivia...Just makes the learning process easier to tolerate. She also is connected with Hawaii Council of Community Associations and has given us updates on Condo issues so that we can help our Condo borrowers or at least understand what Condo's are doing or facing. Her information regarding the new Fire codes in Condo's (Marco Polo) helped me to understand how this will impact HOA fees so that I could explain it to my borrowers and since I live in a Condo too, it was most informative. Additionally, she makes sure that our course credits are uploaded to NMLS. She is not like the other education providers! Would always use Raelene as our course provider choice.

I have taken CE classes from Training Pro and dreaded the boring classes every year. I really enjoyed our trainer and how she taught the class and had everyone participate in the class. I felt like I learned more with Ameritrain and was able to retain the information that was taught. I instructor was very knowledgeable and gave is some examples to review. Carol Wilson was my instructor and did a fabulous job! I will return to Ameritrain for all my CE classes from now on. Thank you to Carol for making the class enjoyable! I took the 20 hr virtual CE class for NMLS with "Cousin Carol" and passed the first attempt with a 90%! I also purchased the extra 4 practice tests which I believe helped immensely. I highly recommend the CE course and "Cousin Carol".
