I signed up with Ameritrain after hearing about them from a business partner, I signed up for the 20 hour NMLS/UST 2 day course, and it was exciting. My instructor is Cousin Carol, she presented the information in such a way that you could visualize how the information she was teaching correlates with day to day operations.
She is also an excellent communicator, she is there to answer questions when you're going through the course, and even after you've complete it. After an unsuccessful attempt at passing the State Test by only 2 points I reached out to Carol, and she was there to help clarify information as well as encourage me though this journey. I have now passed the State Test and would like to thank Carol and Ameritrain for giving me the
guidance.

my experience with this education was great . I did the live zoom class and instructor Carol was great . I'm a terrible test taker and I scored 88 on my first attempt . She has a very unique and fun approach to teaching that really helped me to absorb the material . I am super happy and highly recommend this to anyone that is serious about passing to the first attempt!!

i JUST COMPLETED THE COURSE FOR MY CALIFORNIA LICENSE AND IT WAS EXCELLENT! I USED ALLIED FOR MY VIRGINIA LICENSE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THIS COURSE WAS WELL ORGANIZED, TIMED TO TAKE THE REQUIRED 2 HOURS, AND THE BEST PRICING OF ANY COMPETITORS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Considering this was my first time taking a live online class, I enjoyed it. I liked the fact that the instructor covered only the stuff that would most likely be on the exam. I passed on my first try!

Carol makes this class so much fun and she is amazing. Enjoy her class every year.

Cousin Carol is a high energy trainer who keeps the class interesting and moving. With starting the day with discussion of current mortgage news and then going thru Study Guide, the day flew by. Hope to have her again next year!

I would give the class 5 stars but my suggestion if you were to take the class have a quiet area and at least 5 hours a day just in case you were to get stuck on something you can review it and really comprehend everything.

I want to personally point out my instructor for the 20 hour PE licensing course (Marie) for her outstanding performance. Marie responded quickly to my questions (multiple times for one) and answered my questions quickly and succinctly. She also checked my work and allowed me to "catch up" when most students were well ahead in the course work. I will also say that I was impressed with Ameritrain's format and presentation method.

Ameritrain's twenty hour course was wonderful. Cousin Carol did a fantastic job of preparing us for the exam. With her instruction and lots of studying time I was able to pass the test on my first try. I highly recommend this course.

Ameritrain has the most flexible schedule and great training content for anyone looking to obtain their 20 hour pre-licensure training. The instructors are prompt in replying to your responses and questions; the flexibility allowed for this course is what makes it work so well. The downloads are very helpful in remembering all of the material in a short period of time. Would highly recommend for your training needs.

I had Carol and Herman as my instructors for the 2 day class to prepare for my MLO. I took my test 3 days after the class and passed with an 86% on my first try. They were amazing and very helpful. They had ways of getting the information to stick in your mind while going through the book.

With no prior experience in the mortgage industry. Cost of courses are very fair and reasonable for all of the great information, and pre test materials. I made an 85 on the exam, first try! Their process works! Glitchy systems. Had to restart some of the modules. I took it as an opportunity to review. Customer services was slow to respond., Love that I can refer back to the materials if need be. Awesome resource.

Find another company to be trained. I paid twice for the course to extend because of life events . I was told that as a result of COVID-19 they would extend me as a courtesy for as many times as needed. When logging into course, I planned each night to study and glitches occurred on their site causing me to not be able to move forward. They have triggers set in the self-study course that won t allow you to move forward without an instructor signing off and if there is a glitch on their site after 6pm or on weekends there is no support to help you. If you can study during the day, maybe use them. But if you re busy and need to use your night time hours - absolutely find another company. When I called in to explain, the support person (my guess Owner) just belittled me for extending again and said she would need me to pay again.

Misleading classes for State Specific CE. Took 8 HRS of classes with carol Wilson on August 18, 2020. After the class, I was told that 8 hours would be reported to NMLS. I received notice from NMLS that your state specific classes are missing. I reported to Carol and Ameritrain but not getting any responses from them.
I was calling them for this clarification from Day 1 as the order I placed was showing State Specific classes which was wrong. I needed NC and they were showing GA.
Now I am in trouble and no one is there to respond.

Ameritrain was flexible, affordable and the instructors and staff responsive and helpful throughout and even after my SAFE and TX SML courses. I made an 82 on my first try for my MLO exam and could not be happier! Thank you!

Carol was amazing! I was dreading this class, but it turned out being pretty fun and informative. I would recommend!

I took the MLO 10 day course from Ameritrain. This course is self paced and offers good value. I found it much cheaper than other options out there and the course is well designed with full review and exam prep at the end which helps in passing the exam. All the chapters are summarized in final modules which makes it easy to review the important topics of each chapter. I will highly recommend this course to everyone.

Cousin Carol made an incredibly intense body of information fun, intriguing and palatable. It was an intense 20-hour cram course. Coming from a non-mortgage related industry, it was wonderful to be provided with expert study and exam guidance. I finished the class and put in 2 and 1/2 weeks of personal study time after the course to give me the confidence I needed for the exam. I also used Ameritrain's practice exams to give me a "sense" of how I would perform, and to help me identify my weak areas.

I am happy to say I passed on the first try this past Friday. YAY!

So glad to have that exam behind me. It's a super intense test. You do need to study after the class to increase your chances of passing, but I I would definitely recommend Ameritrain Mortgage Institute and especially cousin Carol for preparatory guidance. I will definitely use Ameritrain again for my annual CE requirements. All the best!

Words cannot adequately express the quality of service received from Ameritrain. Once you take a CE course taught by "Cousin" Carol...you will never consider taking another CE class offered by anyone else. Carol makes an all day class fun! I took the 20 hour pre licensing course in the classroom with Mrs. Carol in Atlanta last week and hands down one of the best training experiences I ve had! She was friendly and vibrant and made the material easy to understand. She is truly passionate about teaching and helping others succeed. She made efforts to make sure everyone was engaged and understanding and to learn each of our names. I took my SAFE exam a week after the course and passed with a 90! (THANK YOU MRS.
