The one of the best Museum in New York City. I love it. So big and a lots of story behind, dinosaurs, wild life, ocean life, history and a lot more.
And of course after the movie " Night in the Museum" more interested to people. Good to see almost everything what it was in the movie too. When I went there, it was a waiting line but not too long. I spent the whole day there and then went for a walk in the central park.
Had a Great time here for my birthday. I haven't visited since I was a kid and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Would have stayed longer but wearing a mask for 4 hours inside is tough.
Love it.. Asking for vaccinated card is perfect and ID. Very organized, clean and all stairs had up and down arrows on the floors so everyone can have 6ft apart. I recommend to everyone to visit. Traveling for NJ was amazing NY. American Museum of National

Amazing stop the NYC ; Fantastic building and you could easily spend all day looking at all the fantastic.There is a lot to see in the museum from dinosaurs to native animals to earth history to cultural exhibits. Make sure to plan to stay a few hours! There are timed entries into the museum so make sure you have your reservation set before you go also the special admission

One visit is never enough because there is so much to see: the planetarium, the large whale and marine life, the butterfly conservatory, the exhibits, the dinosaur, the hall of gems, the forest floor area, birds...
I've been here over 10 times and it's well worth it. I discover new things each time. Plan to spend at least 2 hours to get a decent glimpse into the museum.
Prepare tour legs to walk a lot lol. Its such a nice visit to do with friend and family. Beautiful museum
Always something new to see along with old exhibits. This time they have special crystal exhibits which the best thing you will see in while, they have so many type of crystals,gemstone,diamonds,quartzs and what not. You can spend half day in this gemstones exhibits and wont feel bored. They have one of the tallest geode like 4meters tall. Its huge museum so make sure you have full day to visit everything and download their app which gives amazing information and direction so you dont have ask or search

The new gems and minerals exhibit underwent a major overhaul renovation. The area is very inviting and the exhibits are informative.
There are several special exhibits throughout the year.
Plan to spend more than a day here.
The museum is rich in information and details of different types of studies, tells the history of the species from the beginning, showing perfect replicas of animals that lived in the past and animals of the present. The video of the brontosaurus room is wonderful, it explained very well all the history from the past to the present and continued showing the sequence of rooms to be followed. We also love studying the universe, planets and other galaxies that have been discovered by studying lights in space. We love museums!
