Christian Damo led his team of guys: Chris, Alika, Nolan with skill and professionalism. If you were to observe him, you d think he was one of the guys with his sense of humor, and easy going manner. Underneath all this is a person who is a working leader: diligent, enthusiastic, honest, and considerate. I was impressed by the chemistry between the crew. Overall, they are a happy bunch, lighthearted but focused and hardworking, thanks to Christian. He does not ask his men to do anything he won t do. We did experience a misunderstanding the second day but we were able to resolve the problem amicably. I attribute this to Christian s sincerity, his maturity, and ability to communicate. Together, the men did a beautiful job on my carpet installation and I m happy to have had them in my home. From Christian on down , each one is big hearted. They are less about punching in and punching out and more concerned about meeting the customer s needs. I can t say enough about their attitude because it speaks more loudly then what they would ever say. They went beyond the call and helped me deal with the chaos that goes with any type of remodel/ installation. This is a long overdue review that I was supposed to do for our service back in March but with pandemic and all, I ended up putting this on the back burner. But nonetheless I just want to share the awesome experience that my wife and I received in customer service, friendliness, and trust. It started with Jenny S. as our Sales Rep. She was extremely patient, knowledgable, and insightful on assisting us with our questions and responses. She also was very accommodating when helping us schedule a date as soon as possible to install our carpet. We found a great deal and exactly what we were looking for, so thank you Jenny for your help. Keeping with the momentum, Alan A. and Nolan were awesome on the install. My wife decided to make a change on how she wanted the carpet to be laid out and Alan gave his upfront opinion on what he thought for both functionality and safety. The worked with her on having it fit to her needs. Both Alan and Nolan were all Aloha, helpful, and extremely friendly. Super nice guys, very easy going, efficient, and they got the job done. Please let Alan, Nolan, and Jenny know that we really appreciated them assisting us! Customer service like that goes a long way and we would definitely recommend America Carpet One because of the 3 of them.
Here is our experience with American Carpet One! Our 22 year old carpet was in dire need of being replaced. We remember seeing ads for several carpet and flooring companies, and made an appointment to have an estimate. Sean O. met with us, super nice guy, brought several samples, and answered all of our questions. He provided us with an estimate and it seemed very reasonable and included free installation and haul away! We came an agreement and later scheduled out install. Today, Dion, Steve, and Ronnel, arrived to install our carpet. They were prompt and very courteous, super nice guys! They started working almost immediately and finished faster than the time estimated. These guys are great at what they do, and it came out beautiful! Sean B was the warehouse worker/ forklift operator who loaded my truck. I drive for Alutiiq and deal with different vendors all day everyday, most who barely take the time to even look you i the eyes or ask you name. Sean was incredibly friendly and is a true asset to your team and provided excellent customer service. So much so that I felt inclined to do something that I never do...(that bein writing a review)

During September 2020 we met with Jakob White. He was so knowlegable on the various carpets and so respectful. During this time he made remants for us to match the coloring of our house to be sure which color we wanted. He was not pushy in the sale. I felt so at home with Jakob. Following the purchase we met with Erin at our house for measurements and again we experienced the same expertise. Following the measurements Nolan, Nikki and Alan installed our carpets. They were so professional and tedious in their work. Their cleaniness throughout the project was fantastic. Following the job completion I was planning to throw away the remnants. At this time they informed us that they could bind the edges for a nominal fee. That was great! Now we have beautiful pieces in our living room. To complete our carpet adventure we picked up our remnants from Ty and Jess. Like the rest of the American Carpet Family, they were so friendly and happy. In ending this review we are so happy we chose American Carpet One and surely recommend this company to our friends.

BOUGHT FLOORING FOR OUR BATHROOM THROUGH MO WHO WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING US PICK OUT THE PATTERN. BOTH DAVID AND MARC M., THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY EFFICIENT, HARD WORKING AND LEFT THE AREA CLEAN. THEY COMMUNICATED REALLY WELL LETTING US KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING
American Carpet One PROS: Order process was simple and hassle-free, installation was top-notch, flooring material was high quality CONS: Door jams and stair nose pieces arrived separately from main order, one stair nose piece didn t match the rest of the floor and it took some reordering to get a match. My SALES person Maureen Mo was very patient with me. It took me more than a few months to decide on a floor and she was very generous in lending me samples to take home... On January 16, 2018 we purchased our flooring.* The paperwork was quick and the order was placed immediately. It was projected that the materials would take about a month to arrive on Oahu, so we tentatively scheduled the installation for the end of February. About 3 weeks after our purchase, I got a call from Mo that the material was in and they could install immediately. We were excited to get started, so on February 9th American Carpet began the 2 week process of removing carpet and installing engineered hard wood. The INSTALLATION team (Aris, Arnel, Burt, JR, Erik, Jeff, Ikaika) was great. We ve lived through renovations before and this was by far the best experience. The guys were at our home February 9-10th and 13-17th from 8am-4pm. In the mornings they were always on time (arrival was projected 8-8:30am), they worked the entire time without breaks (I think they took their lunch breaks in shifts), they kept their mess to a minimum, and always tidied up at the end of each day (when I walked the construction site their tools were neatly stacked to the side and there was no rubbish). The material we purchased arrived in various lengths (we didn t know that when ordering the product), but the installers were highly skilled in laying it and the final look was beautiful. We had a few hiccups toward the end, the door jams didn t arrive with the rest of the shipment and had to be installed a week later and one of the stair noses wasn t a color-match with the rest of the floor. Through it all Mo (sales) and Aris (head installer) listened to our concerns and assured us that they d work with the supplier to find a match. It took 2 additional orders, paid for by American Carpet, and on March 5th the final piece was installed. Overall, the quality of the flooring material and the expertise in which it was laid attests to American Carpet having been the best choice for our home renovation. I am very grateful for the positive experience and look forward to enjoying our new floor for many years to come. *The flooring material we purchased was "Baroque Flooring" in Acacia, Natural. Engineered wood.
We purchased a home and were looking for some carpet to be installed in the bedrooms. I always knew that American Carpet One was a good company so we stopped by just to see what they had to offer. There, we met Evan and he was super helpful in sharing with us the pros and cons of all the different carpets they have. After looking through a bunch of different selections, we found the one we wanted and set our install date. Evan was always checking up on us and when we decided to move our install date up, he was very accommodating and found an open slot that worked for us. When they day arrived the workers came and installed our carpet quickly but with top notch quality. I couldn't be happier with Evan and American Carpet One...I will never have to search for another carpet company in the future.

American Carpet One was our company of choice as we planned our major home renovation. What we realized while meeting with SEAN OKAMOTO was that American Carpet One not only did flooring, they also did countertops, window coverings, and other specialty jobs. Having American Carpet One do all our renovations made it so much easier to coordinate. SEAN was (and still is) our go-to guy. SEAN was knowledgeable and patient in taking the time to explain the various options available. He worked with us from day one and made sure we were kept abreast of the progress every step of the way. After a job was completed, he took the time to check in with us to make sure we were pleased with the outcome. The flooring renovation was done in three phases. The first phase took care of the carpeting in our master bedroom. The one-day removal and installation was done by JR and DESTIN, who were courteous and professional throughout. They also moved the heavy furniture, which helped a great deal. They made sure we were satisfied with their work before leaving and encouraged us to contact them if we found any issues after they left. The second and third phases entailed the installation of the remainder of our home flooring. This also included the delicate removal of over 1,100 square feet of slate. The awesome team of JR, DAVID, PETER, DION, ARIS, NICK, JOSH, and team lead ARNEL did a fabulous job and completed the work within the scheduled timeframe. They arrived on time daily and cleaned up before leaving for the day. Arnel kept us informed as the job progressed. And he, too, always made sure we were satisfied with their work along the way. Everyone worked hard and diligently and as a team. It was so pleasant to see. Even BRENT, the manager of all flooring installations, stopped by periodically to see how things were going and also pitched in to do some work. Another part of our renovation included the replacement of our kitchen countertops. The team removed the old countertops and installed the new ones in one day. We are pleased with the selection made and outcome with the expertise of ROSE. The final phase is the replacement of all our window coverings. The installation, which is still in progress and scheduled to be completed by March, is being done by GREG SOLANTE and CHRIS. They have been so accommodating with scheduling. We are very happy with their work. And again, with SEAN s guidance, we were able to make the appropriate selections for each room window coverings. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND American Carpet One for flooring, countertops, and window coverings needs!

My wife and I were very reluctant to replace our really tired carpets. The main reason was the hassle of moving furniture and emptying closets. We made a game of the closets using early spring cleaning as the reason and the closets really needed it, we thought were still stuck with moving all the furniture. Our project manager Shawn Farmer and ultimately Jakob White helped us pick the right carpet for us and assured us the install would be relatively painless with their professional crews doing all the "heavy lifting". Our crew, was Alan Acacio as lead with Nolan and Alika. My wife and I were awed. These three gents arrived exactly when the were expected and quickly went to work. They were courteous and friendly and totally professional in their workmanship. They worked quickly and it was obvious that they cared about the job but as well they cared about our home. The were clean with the install and when they were done there was not a trace of the normal dust lint and threads common on a job like this. I can't say enough about the quality of the entire job from selection to installation to final clean up. Before I retired I was in office construction and managed 200,000+ feet of tenant improvement. I can say from experience any General contractor would kill to have Alan, Nolan and Alika on their Crew

Our son is getting married and we have family coming from the mainland for this big celebration. we changed the flooring in multiple rooms in our house before they arrive. Alan, Nolan, & Josh removed our carpet tiles, and installed new ones today. My first impression was that they were very courteous, explained what they were going to do. Also explained the AirDog x5 purifier and did a short demonstration, as I had questions about it. Was happy they would be using it as old carpet tiles were going to be removed. Polite, respectful, and efficient....their expertise made our condo look awesome. I also would like to say mahalo to our sales guy Sean.

Mark and Burt Celebre came out to our house on the north shore, which is usually very hard to get good service to, and finished ripping up carpet and installing wood in our studio in only two days. The guys stayed to themselves and were nice though our brief conversations. The new floors look great too!

Alan and Nolan arrived on time, scoped out the installation and got right to work. They dealt with a large bed frame that could not be disassembled. They were courteous, professional and did a great job. Our new carpet looks terrific.
I was very impressed at how professional & courteous the staff was. Keala, Sarah, Ashlyn, Cameron, & Jake were all very helpful. I was in search of carpet remnants and utilized the texting feature on American Carpets website. Chastity responded promptly and asked how she could help. I provided the dimensions of what I was looking for and she quickly texted me pictures of what she had in stock. This was very helpful and a huge time saver. I don't normally post anything but I felt this experience with American Carpet was great. I went to look for flooring for my new home with my wife and just happened to walk in to American Carpet. Whitney was introduced to us and was amazing. Whitney was personable, honest, and knowledgeable. Trust us, we verified the information that we were informed of and the info was correct. If I need flooring for any additional rooms, I will be returning to American Carpet. I would definitely recommend Whitney.
Thank you so much to Blake and his team for making it so easy to purchase carpet for our house! Blake took the time to show us the various options - who knew there was so much to know about carpets! He was so knowledgeable and patient in answering any and all questions we had. We had to move our installation date last minute as another contractor we hired wasn't finished with his job yet, and Blake was so accommodating and understanding, making the process a lot less stressful than it might have been. The guy who came out to take the measurements (Aaron) and the team who did the installation (Alan, John, and Josh) were awesome as well and did everything quickly and professionally. Highly recommend going through American Carpet One! You won't be disappointed.
Worked with Cynthia Mincey. She help me find the correct tile I was looking for in a very short time, placed order for warehouse to deliver on Saturday morning, when I got there, at about 11:45am, tile had not been delivered. Costume Center staff worked to resolve issue & stated item would be at store in afternoon. Got back to store about 3:00pm, but was in informed that warehouse could only find damaged tile boxes. I explained that I had spent about $2,000 on a ticket for my sister to fly in to help me install the tile over next couple of days. At this point Cynthia was able to worked a some magic and got another type of tile at no extra cost along with application product delivered that same day. THANK YOU CYNTHIA!!! Would highly recommend Cynthia how, from the beginning was extremely friendly and helpful and never gave up working to resolve the problem!! Highly recommend both Cynthia and American Carpert One for all flooring and tile needs.

It was a pleasure using this company. They went over and beyond my expectations. From the moment we walked in the door they treated us with kindness and respect. April our salesperson was so friendly and personable, it was like she fit right into our Ohana. Her help was tremendous from the presentation of the product, setting up appointments, to the handling of the installation date of our desire. We were always updated by Alyssa and she made sure we had all the info we needed. The installation crew was awesome. Christian, Chris, and Alika took the utmost care of our home during the install. They finished well and in a timely matter. Their professionalism was top notch. They made our move in pleasant and memorable. This is a great company and we would definitely refer them as well as use them again.

I walked into American Carpet One on Monday and met with April. She not only found the exact type of carpet that I was told was sold out from those other places, she was the most amazing person to work with. She scheduled my measure appt on Wednesday with a great gentleman who made the process even better. He measured, printed out my new invoice on his portable printer and left the house in minutes which was absolutely outstanding. The carpet was installed today on Saturday by Christian and Chris. They showed up exactly at 8, was extremely respectful, hardworking, fast and just watching them work reassured me that I made the right decision to choose them. Their level of detail and efficiency was so impressive! I can t thank you all enough for the best experience and service ever! The entire process was completed in less than a week and I am pretty sure no one else can compare!

Christian, Chris, and Destin were great installers to work with. As a PM, you work with all the trades and easily spot mistakes and not so great work ethic. These guys were great and would work with them again in the future. Brought up options for minor details and look out for the client more than just finishing the job.
From Start of the sales inquiry interaction to finished installation, we received top of the line service. We took a lot of time with the salesman, Glenn "Yama" Yamashiro, who took the time to listen to what we were looking for and help us get the best long term value in our choices of carpet, underpadding, and post installation care. The installers were incredibly accommodating, polite, professional and clearly highly skilled at what they do. They did a flawless installation, absolutely great job!
