American Auto Exchange Review

Purchased my car from them 3 months ago. On the date of purchase I had asked them 4 times before I bought the car if it had a clean title/if it was salvaged. They assured me several times it did indeed have a clean title. Went to plate the car and sure enough, salvage title. Fast forward to now, transmission went out. It s full of water. Weird how I m just now finding this out and having problems with the car. I also had asked before I bought the car if it had sat in the flood last year, I was told no. These people are crooks. They want commission and sales so bad they re willing to do whatever they can to whoever they can. I would highly recommend NOT EVER considering American auto in your future.

Bought a vehicle for 10,000 had to within a week of buying put 1,000 of work into it. I get no warranty but the salesman never warned me about underlying issues.

I had just bought a vehicle from this place about a month ago, I went to try and title my vehicle. I was told one week it was gonna be mailed on that Monday and then I had called again and they said they didn t do it until that Friday before I went and seen them/called them. And then I have had to call them three times this last week to get any sort of information about where my title is for the vehicle to be registered. And then I get told that I am lying in the registration and title should be at the courthouse of where I live today. And it was not there. I was also poorly treated, the staff treat their customers poorly, will be disrespectful towards their customers over the phone, also in person.

Only rate 4 stars cause they didn't have what I needed but great staff and they bent over backwards to help.

They have a good selection of used cars. I was able to test drive several vehicles until I found the right one to meet my needs and budget. Thanks for your patience with me Joe! I will recommend this place to my friends.

MY SISTER PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE IN THE FIRST PART OF JUNE. THIS VEHICLE WAS OVERPRICED. THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD MANY ISSUES. VEHICLE TOOK A TANK ON HER WHILE SHE WAS OUT OF TOWN. AMERICAN AUTO EXCHANGE IS A JOKE. WANTED US TO DRIVE IT TO A AUTO REPAIR PLACE HERE IN OMAHA EVEN MEANING IF IT WOULD DRIVE AT 2 MPH. SERVICE WAS REALLY RUDE. BASICALLY DID NOT KNOW HIS HEAD FROM THE HOLE IN HIS BLANK. BEWARE, JUNK AT HIGH PRICES. PREY ON PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP. JUST A BAD PLACE TO DO BUSINESS.

They are scam artist selling salvaged titles and embezzling money under the table. If you show them facts that they are wrong they threaten to take your vehicle.

Bought a suv from them 8 days ago and it s all in the shop broken down! Do not buy from either location in Kearney!!!!

What can I say?? WOW!!! This place was huge and has a lot to pick from but I knew what I wanted and what I needed before ever getting to the office, thanks to Joe!

A lot of individuals will try to make a sale and push you out the door with a vehicle but NOT Joe! He was open and said it like it was before I even came out to the office and by his honesty and dedication on being a person who has more respect for the truth then just any salesman.

I know I ll be shopping here again very soon for a car for my oldest daughter and will send others to him in the months to come.
