Ambassador Hotel Santorini Review

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The staff were amazing and the service impeccable.
Meals were amazing and the presentation could have been any place in New York.
All of this topped off by a stunning view

Best place for our honeymoon. This place caters to your every want and need. The service is exceptional. Looking forward to coming back here. The island is very beautiful but it was hard to leave the view of our room.

We chose Ambassador for the private pool in each room choice and the views of the Aegean and Santorini. Wasn't disappointed! Food and drink can be ordered to you room (service charge for breakfast only) so you can totally relax. Food is lovely. Broad selection of drinks - international and local - and lovely cocktails too.

Staff made us feel super welcome with lots of personal touches and character.

Pepi & Effi were absolutely incredible.

From the moment we arrived it felt like the staff went out of their way to go above and beyond for myself and my wife... but actually this is exactly how they treat every guest and it truly made a difference to our stay and made us feel so special. If you are looking for a taste of heaven and everyone you meet to be just awesome...then look no further, this is the place...and I haven't even scratched the surface!

Was a romantic trip (honeymoon), the hotel helped with lots of little touches as a surprise for my wife including; rose petals, wine and fruits on arrival.

It was an unbelievable romantic break, with amazing food and drinks every day whenever you wanted (thank you Cabo Rosso) , the friendliest of staff that go out of their way to make your stay magical, the most breath taking views and your own privacy with a very nice sized outside space and private pool - what more could you want!!

This is an idyllic place to stay and has been a fantastic experience with impeccable service and luxury. We are staying here on our honeymoon and could not be happier with our choice. We stayed in an infinity cave suite. Views without obstruction, private patio and sea salt private pool, large soaking tub, kind sized bed. Quiet, peaceful, everything you would look for when planning a getaway from work and preoccupations. I would recommend to any person who wants to treat themselves.

Amazing experience!
The view is beautiful from any room, overlooking the caldera and nicely located close to couple of small restaurants, supermarket and walking distance from car and bike rentals.
Rooms are cozy and bright with huge tub, coffee machine and a wine cooler.
Food is always fresh and breakfast is served to your room/terrace with your preferred time and choices of food and beverage.
Rooms service and staff are friendly and very helpful, they would guide you to places for dinner or walk arounds and even arrange the transportation if required.
Obviously the rates are high and you might have to book a year in advance but that s understandable for such a premium stay.

Best and most friendly service we have had in a hotel and restaurant! The room was very unique with an amazing view.
The restaurant Cabo Rasso had the best Greek salad we have ever had including others we tried on the island. All the food we had was great for lunch and dinner. My wife was in love with the potatoes and goat cheese.

Caved like rooms. Great for Cave room experience. Breakfast was a la carte. No buffet. The tap water in the bathrooms was really salty. Unpleasant for showers. Overall room decor was minimalistic. It does not give you the feeling of a five star luxury hotel.
I will definitely try it again. I loved the views they were breathtaking from our room and the sunset was also gorgeous.

A lovely hotel with an incredible staff! We particularly appreciated all the helpful info on restaurants, beaches, getting around, and even where to take the best sunset photos. Thank you to Alexandra and everyone on the team for making our holiday so relaxing and memorable.
