Beautifully manicured and maintained beach resort situated in a prime waterfront location in Limassol.
Checking in was an efficient and satisfying experience. The staff quickly parked my rental car, took my luggage, and served a glass of chilled lemonade while I was checking in.
The sea view room overlooked the hundreds of lounge chairs along the pool and beach, complemented by immensely tall palm trees.
The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are immaculately clean, inviting all visitors to take a dip. It does not appear to be crowded at night or in the morning despite the hotel being full.
If you get the breakfast buffet included, you will enjoy a world class offering with every dish you can think of in this region. The usual eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, salads are all here. The local fares such as figs, dates, hummus, tahini, tzaziki, etc. are also available.
High end hotel comes with a high end price, so wait for a good deal.
For a Sun-Filled Family Escape
The Luxury Amathus Limassol Hotel is utterly a safe place to stay and is as breathtaking as its surroundings. A sea view room by all means! Cannot recommend this hotel enough, scores on every level and I rate it well above other more expensive hotels I have stayed.

We spend a weekend at Amathus Hotel for celebrating my husband s birthday. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. The rooms are very clean and the sea view amazing! The entertainment for the kids was fabulous also the special kids buffet. The staff took care excellent for our children s needs. Highly recommended. The breakfast buffet is extremely generous. The Limanaki fish restaurant is really great for dinner close to the sea. Thank you very much for this perfect organized birthday weekend!!!
This is arguably the best hotel in Cyprus, at least in Limassol where I have stayed quite a few times. I think it nudges ahead of four seasons because it is a little less stuffy, so one can really relax. Breakfast buffet is really nice and so tasty. Also great for families because they have a special area for children for eating and playing. The garden is beautifully manicured. Service and in general the friendliness of the staff is really great - in the end this makes the difference.

Nice and friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice. Kids club had more that expected and the staff there very nice to kids. The food choices in the hotel was good, and breakfast was also very good. Not to mention that the price is also reasonable. Only thing that the sound insulation inside the rooms wasn t that good.
