If you look at my reviews, you'll see almost every one of them is positive. This is place is the rare but huuuuuge, I mean yuuuuuuge exception

We used to have good memories of this place. Until we moved out. The good things: their maintenance staff was very responsive, and the shuttle service was very convenient.

The bad:
The office staff tries to do as much as they can, but you can guess their hands are tied. Denira, please don't respond to this.
The management (Roseland Properties) out of New Jersey is as terrible and unscrupulous a group of people as you can think of. I have rented all over the United States, but this IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD

Let me explain

They wouldn't return our security deposit after 2 years saying the entire carpet had to be replaced.
We had the carpet professionally cleaned and took photographs when we left.
The staff was not on hand to do a walk through, see comment on inefficient staff above
They sent us pictures of some other apartment to back up their claim
All in all, do not expect to see your security deposit back. It's a 1000 dollars

MY ADVICE: Avoid. Take an extra day to find another place. I'd give them a -1 if I could. If you see Roseland Properties on your lease, please, please walk away.

Management is rude and unhelpful. Packages are consistently lost and management refuses to take any responsibility for the terrible mail situation. Will be moving out as soon as possible.

Like living here. Convenient location. Spacious enough. It is an older building but has nice upgrades. I would rate it higher BUT the girl who is the receptionist or whatever in the office is so EXTREMELY rude every time I encounter her for a package or anything else. The other person working in the office never looks up or says a word. Definitely don t enjoy coming home to deal with this on the occasions that my packages don t get put in the package concierge. I would say about half the time they don t.

In the duration of five years ( yes I know shame on me for continuing to stay here) the overall decline of this property and its management is astounding. The lack of response from the management office is ludicrous. Fully aware of the pandemic and the constraints that has posed but the problems existed here long before that. The package process is a huge issue and management s response is to reach out to the carrier, these folks have face to face contact with carriers day to day where they completely refuse to go to bat for their residents. The ONLY redeeming quality of this property is the maintenance team. They are the most amazing team to interact with. The management office should take a page from their book and actually provide the service residents are paying for, which is premium price for Malden/Revere MA. I cannot wait to get out of here.

I chose this complex because it has competitive base rental fees and I have to say maintenance repaired on time. But the actual utilities (water, sewer, electricity) is very high. I lived alone and rarely stayed at home, I still need to pay $200-300 utilities fees per month (I turned off the AC, parking and internet fee are excluded)

Before I moved out, I cleaned all rooms in apartment very seriously, can you believe they charged me over $1500 move out fees without any damages. I replied emails about the billing concerns right away once I got Billing emails from office, they claimed property management will contact me later. But I ve never got ANY response from them till the day I got phone call from Collection Agency! Office property just forwarded my case to collection agency without any notice while I m waiting reply from them.

Go choose this complex if you think over $1500 move out fees is reasonable and ready to pay for it. BTW, $1500 move out fees is based on no any damage.

Thought I'd take the awful reviews this apartment has with a grain of salt, but decided to actually come to the office a while ago to talk to a worker and now I understand what the comments mean by having a terrible staff. I'll rather avoid the future headache and take my money elsewhere. Chase (apartment next door)i a little bit much better and cleaner with their staff. For some reason the office smelt awful also

Live here if you want to be somewhere where the other residents don't care and neither do management. Trash was always strewn everywhere, smelt like cigarettes outside and weed inside. Management only sends passive aggressive emails telling people not to do stuff but there is no teeth behind it and everyone knows it. Calling this place luxury is a joke. Also good luck getting your security deposit back. Leaving here was the best decision .

This is our third year here and we are about to sign in a new lease to a two bedroom with a den as we need that little extra space with the new normal of remote work. Very convenient for us in every aspect. I have had the greatest experience and support from the team from day one, I have to say maintenance guys are the greatest, very prompt in their response and Malinda in the office has been just fabulous, very helpful from my early days. I do think they are faster responding to email better that to get a hold of someone on the phone. We love the shuttle! My boy take it to the city to connect with train for school and take it home in the evening, a great perk to have. My only critic would be the extra costs on top of the base rent, parking, Roselink, water and sewer etc, these can creep up on you and make it a bit on the expensive side. I wish there was a way around this but still, I will pick this place over and over again.

Would not recommend at all. Outside of the maintenance and cleaning crew, the staff is rude and uncaring. They really only care about outside appearances to get new residents. Other residents would often let their pets relieve themselves in the hallways. Good luck seeing your full security deposit on move out. Don t bother calling because you ll just get a full inbox, but judging by the other comments speaking with someone seems like a waste of time anyway. Just avoid any of their properties if you can there are many more in the area to choose from.
