Alpenhotel Krone - Alemania Reviews

We were there for a romantic weekend. We loved the village (try to find the small alpine garden park) the hotel was beautiful, clean, with very friendly staff. The restaurant is superb, I was blown away by the artful arrangement of the dishes. The room was cosy, the bathroom really nice, no bathtub, which is what I prefer. Short drive to Neuschwanstein Castle. Lots of International channels on the TV. Only small negative thing is slowish Internet.

Food was fine, coffee was good, waitress was nice, front desk service abysmal.

Had breakfast here with a "discount". Normally breakfast is 15, with my discount it was 11,90. Normally kids' breakfast is 10. Final price? 4x 11.90 with 2 kids. "Saved" about 2.50.

Not recommended.

More interested in extorting a little money than in reasonable customer satisfaction.

Hotel is very clean and freshly renovated. Be prepared that flies are everywhere and it will be a problem during your meals. Rooms do not have AC and on windows there are no bug nets. So, during summer be prepared to melt or be eaten by mosquitos. During breakfast I was very unlucky to be served by a waitress that doesn't speak English. If you have any questions or want to order something from the menu, it's a struggle.
Very nice hotel for a short visit, for any longer stay, search for something else.
