About Aloki
Aloki is a start up creating a platform that enables anyone to teach or learn anything. Their mission is to increase accessibility to education, one lesson at a time. Initially, the focus will be on core high school subjects with a selection of quality tutors across NSW. These tutors come from UNSW, USYD, have worked in ABC, Google, are former teachers, or are high achieving recent graduates, and are committed to enriching the lives of students so they can reach their full potential.
Founded in October 2016 as a one-man team, Aloki has since grown to a team of 10 with over 400 registered students and tutors. This is with the backing of H2 Ventures, a leading Australian venture capital firm. They are constantly working hard to improve their services, and they're seeing incredible growth. After months of development, their app will be ready to launch mid-November. This is an exciting time for us, and they can't wait to share the journey with you.
