Visited the hotel with friends. A bit dated but looked OK to me

Rest us spoiled by the fact that in the hotel until May 31, men are allowed to go to dinner only in pants / jeans. We flew 15 and with us were only shorts, we were almost kicked out from dinner, the waitress was rude. Before that, no one warned about this nuance, and there were no such problems in Ayia-Napa. In the end, after talking with the manager, we exchanged dinners for lunch, shopping mall, we did not plan to buy clothes and spend the day shopping and look for decent stores too. It was very uncomfortable, spoiled all plans for rest. If you eat with Biblioglobus, they cannot solve anything, the hotel guide said will help in solving the situation, but disappeared. Good that we speak English. lang.)) Not only we got into this situation, but also the English family, where there were 5 men and all with shorts)) In general, about the hotel: the rooms are ordinary, cleaned every day, cleanly. Our balcony door was broken, did not close, the equipment was called, repaired 10 minutes. The food was monotonous, there was little choice, almost no. Delicious desserts. Many cats on site. I saw a cat run across the table on the street, and the waiter did not wipe the table, but simply straightened the devices lying on it. In the pool the water is warm, clean, there is a lifeguard on duty - fun and loving his job. In general, the staff is rude, the waiters have to wait a long time, there are many of them, but the table can stand untidy for 10 minutes. Don't expect a beautiful view from the balcony. Beach across the road, 3 minutes on foot. To the pier and the fortress on foot 15 minutes. Hotel - 3ka, not 4ka.

Awful, worse than terrible, if you want to feel yourself in a nursing home for you here, service is zero, the rooms are dirty and old, the food is not tasty, the cleaning of the room is irregular, if you don t tell me what to change the towel and you will wipe the same week for a week , for which they gave 4 stars, I don t understand, and around the construction site. There s a single room somewhere in the corner, so stock up on charging if you don t want to talk on the phone while sitting on the floor that wasn t apparently cleaned with the opening time of the hotel, the smell of fear, the glory of God that paid only 2 days, and sezzhaem and run !!!!!

If you rate it in the standard 1 stars it's cool. Rooms like in the PRL. Food a small selection although even tasty. The pool is clean. Close to the beach.

Lovely friendly hotel with good food and wifi. Staff excellent.

It's not everything the website tells you. However it's a lovely place to stay

Very nice staff (Only the main waitress hypocrite). Purity. They try to renew the hotel. During our stay, the carpets were replaced in the corridor and the bar terrace was renovated. All this without disturbing the guests! Value for money is absolutely ok!

City hotel that has very comfortable, spacious rooms and spotlessly clean. Staff kindly !!!

4 stars hotel but really 3 stars experience, old and little effort seems to have been made to restore and refurbish

Massive hotel with all facilities, but a little impersonal.

Everything is very bad, the food is bad - very little choice, monotonous, chefs hair in the dishes, no fruits, no seafood, dirty dishes and utensils. The hotel needs renovation. Insects in the room. No animation. Shower water does not flow well. Air conditioners in the rooms are not cleaned. The furniture is old. The walls are dirty. Holes in the curtains. The towels are gray. Paid Internet (very expensive). The staff is not very friendly except for two or three people.

Lovely staff: excellent food; two extremely good swimming pools - and huge, comfortable bed. However the decor is a bit 'tired' looking: I've never stayed at a place where tea & coffee making in your room is an 'extra', neither have I seen (in a long time) a key-lock room safe for which you have to pay extra to get the key. Pity really - because it could be a really good hotel.

Outdated hotel. Not so good food, average facilities. Good looking at night.

Slightly older but reasonable hotel without high expectations. It does have a large double swimming pool with sufficient sun loungers and a practical outside bar.

Food and drink is really good and the staff are excellent

Nice hotel across the road from the sandy equipped beach. The hotel rooms are small, but clean, comfortable. Food without frills, but you can t get hungry. Walking distance to the port, many shops, excellent promenade. For a measured vacation in Paphos. I recommend.

I liked the hotel, we will come again. Near the sea, the beach is sand, the food is good, there is no language barrier, they speak Russian.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly. The swimming area is amazing.
The hotel though is stuck in the 70's. The AC doesn't work properly in 30 degrees heat. Good luck if you can sleep. They charge you if you use the fridge and they charge you for English channel's so is no good to have kids in the hotel.
No good for couples as they dont have double beds, only singles pushed together. Really not worth the money.

Good location, nice pools, reasonably priced,good breakfast choice to suit everyone. Near beach across the road and easy access to the harbour and restaurants.

Comfortable hotel. Not happy with the first room we were given, able to change after a days. Food okay but very repetitive to the extent of being boring. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.

Good hotel, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful here. We had breakfasts only, buffet, varied menu. Clean, comfortable. Cleaned on time. Swimming pool for adults and children, close to the sea, very convenient. There is a playground. In general, if you choose a hotel, you can safely choose Aloe!) I really liked

It was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The range of meals was not great and the wine they served up was not good and quite dear.
Overall despite the lack of entertainment in the evening at the hotel or nearby venues it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel with good food and located near the center ... no fun lugubre corridor to refresh .. Very good pool ...

Not a good hotel food pork and chicken for every meal needs updating very badly but won't happen as hotel been sold and closing in 15 months l

Warm welcome and excellent service from all staff. Clean and comfortable room. Some areas are a little tired and would benefit from refurbishment. A4* Hotel with 5* service. Looking forward to returning again in October.

Almost only Englishmen and Russians as guests. Early empty coffee machine, only black tea, no rolls, no Nutella etc. Lunch despite all inclusive sign every sip of wine. In the evening big buffet, shorts in men okay. Habitable room, at the front desk no German.

Helpful staff no hidden charges and good value food and service.

Absolutely disgusting treatment by the Mercury rep Fiona how RUDE UNHELPFUL AND LACK OF Information for uk people who are being told they have to get out the hotel. Do what your paid for Fiona and help the people who are stuck out there with nowhere else to go and no flights available

Very clean, super pool and the staff are extremely polite and helpful that's the good part of the hotel. On the downside of the hotel there is absolutely no entertainment at all day and night and they need to update their cocktail list and learn how to make them

Havent stayed at the hotel but i've been to a couple of events here so i cant really say about the prices or if its value for money. Overall experience was very good, the hotel is located close to the harbor and you have access to the beach and to restaurants.

Have just stayed here for a week and all I can say is fantastic the staff here are so welcoming and friendly especially the bar supervisor Thomas and Maria nicos and Romeo they all couldn t do enough for us our daughter was treated like a princess the whole week the food was fantastic all week can t wait to comeback in June x

Pros: location, territory, cost.
Cons: the hotel is old, old furniture in the rooms, the smell of old furniture in the room, ants.
I put 4 for. Not a high price, there are three rubles for more comfortable in Paphos, in general, not bad.

Cyprus, Paphos !!!! Now this is my love forever thanks to this beautiful hotel. The staff speaks excellent Russian, the cuisine is excellent, the cleaning is excellent. I want to see you again !!!

Great hotel! We have been coming here for years. Always spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast very good, with lots of choice. Reasonably priced and in a good location to Paphos centre

During this period of time, we chose a meeting of NG and excursions.

Excellent hotel, located in a convenient location, 30 minutes crawling to the Paphos bay, 3 minutes the sea across the road. Feed for slaughter, freshly renovated rooms. The hotel across the road is already open and construction is not underway. The hotel has a bicycle rental service - 10 euros per day.

The staff is exceptional. At the front desk I never meet such lovely people. For the rest of our stay it was horrible. The food, the selection of drinks , the hotel need to be put down and rebuilt. We even found cockroaches. It's a big no. Maybe if you are 80 years old you would find it attractive!!!!

Great hotel perfectly placed in the middle of everything and a stone's throw from the beach! Beautiful downstairs and undergoing renovation for the rest of the Hotel. Food is fantastic and the bar is great with absolutely amazing staff! In particular the Manager Thomas, Romeo and Gabriel. Already planning on coming back next year and we still have a week of our holiday left!

Great location, great pool, nice staff, we arrived at 9am and got a room at 10am although check in at 2pm and also gave us breakfast.
The air conditioner in the room was not cool enough, breakfast was meager but adequate, there is parking, close bus stops, enough sunshine around the pool, clean, quiet,

Nothing to moan about.
You get what u pay for. And here is great vaule.
Food good. Rooms clean.

I had high hopes for this hotel. My room was very outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment. Was comfortable enough. The buffet restaurant was okay but could be much better though. Full board isn't quite full board so check what's included before booking. The hotel had a nice pool but the staff do not check it. Guests leave towels on their favourite chairs for the duration of their stay leaving nowhere due anyone else. It's annoying that staff don't care.

Stayed with the family for 2 nights. Below average.
* TV not working,
* Mild unpleasant smell in the room and walkway always !!
* No water kettle provided and have to pay 3 euros per day
* Standard breakfast

The hotel was nice enough and the staff were great. It's a little dated but very clean.

Three stars are too much. I do not know how this hotel is quite highly rated on the sites of tour operators. One star gives for the pool because it is cool. The second for service and the third for location - near the sea. Meals seemed varied, but we had the impression that they were made of the previous day's dishes. The breaded cutlet looked and tasted like plywood. It was similar with fish fillet. Desserts varied but not on their knees. With watermelon fruit and sometimes apples. Old rooms not renovated bathroom remembers the 80s. In the room we had a huge (5 / 6cm) cockroach. At the reception it did not make a great impression - it is probably everyday life. Massacre gym, indoor tragedy pool, and horror ping pong room.

First things first the WiFi is terrible.
Next the food has gave me the runs and the bar well ive seem more atmosphere in a funeral.

Great hotel, friendly staff and food was great! Lots of choice and different cuisines everyday, and you can order food too if you'd like something else. Facilities were fab, made good use of the indoor pool and jacuzzi on rainy days and the games room which had table tennis.
Hotel-wide WiFi was a plus, room service was great, but the TV's could do with updating to newer models.

Great otelchik. Small, cozy, calm. In the lobby and the restaurant sounds great music. Sometimes in the evenings in the bar there is live music. Wonderful location. The food is very tasty, satisfying, without any frills. Everything is clean, the pool is very good. The girls at the reception are polite and friendly. Rooms without frills, but with a good bathroom, a hairdryer, a tiny fridge, and a balcony (my only gripe is a balcony with no lighting).

So-so. Stated 4 stars. According to the numbers does not pull even three. Yes, there are two pools, one for swimming, the other for swimming. But actually all. Because of this, 4 stars are strange to give. The audibility is good in the rooms, especially in the bathrooms, when the doors in the rooms close, the sensation of floor and ceiling shaking. Previously, they had a view of the sea, in some rooms, but now they are building a huge hotel in front of the hotel.
In addition, the room turned out to be bedbugs. Of course they changed the number, but did not make any compensation.
In principle, there is a lot of food, diverse, but not changing, there are no special complaints here.

Friendly staff, 3 big pools. Quiet hotel. Lots of areas to sit in comfy sofas and relax. Lovely food.
There was a big hotel being built opposite but did not hear any noise from it. Easy access to beach over the road, that then has a path along between the sea and hotels, 15 minute walk to harbour having turned right out of hotel. Another lovely walk turning left along beach front walk.

Nice hotel, but old ... a lot of the room is already battered, especially the doors and curtains. Safe for a fee - 2 per day, the bathtub is very narrow. For breakfast in 8 days, nothing has ever changed - served the same

Wasn't allowed inflatables in the pool! Pool bar closed on the 1st November.

terrible cleaning,
at breakfast, glasses with stains from a dirty rag,
scratched bathroom mirror,
broken furniture,
no sound insulation,
a very wide gap under the door to the room (light from the corridor enters the room at night);
the bed creaks
no drinking water in the room,
water is free only for breakfast,
there are only glasses of dishes in the room,
I had three or seven towels on different days - apparently, the standard is five;
Tips and Comments:
scraps of packaging may come across in desserts, check before giving them to children;
there are many retirees from different countries in September;
the hotel is very calm and quiet;
in the bathroom upon arrival 2 shampoos, 2 shower gels (not very good), a shower cap, a sanitary bag, soap, 4 glasses, a folder with paper, a hairdryer, a mini-fridge (empty); hangers 10 pcs;
the hairdryer is in the drawer opposite the bed;
tea tray 3 euros per day, use of a safe in the room 2 euros per day, if you have half board (HB) you can take lunch instead of dinner any day, drinks during lunch and dinner are paid

Brilliant hotel .. Beautiful pool, private. Very clean.

Wifi in the rooms almost does not catch. Where the speed catches is often very low.

There are many cats in the hotel, some of them are sick, m. lichen. Wind around the tables at breakfast.

Rooms - furniture of the 80s, in some TVs from the same era. 10 channels, from the Russian only the 1st channel - suitable for zombies.
Cleaning is good, but not every day.

Kitchen - fed very tasty. Buffet. HB drinks at dinner are not included.

Pools - there is a child, adult and paddling pool on the street. Indoors another adult in the gym. Cleaned regularly, but not after all the blows of some gentlemen true.

Parking - 2 pieces for hotel guests for free.

Nice hotel, well laid out. Rooms are a bit tired but have all the main amenities.. Including free WiFi. Tea and coffee making facilities and the room safe will cost you. TV only has the basic channels so nothing special. I only stayed on a bed and breakfast board and can't comment on lunches and dinners but if they are anything like the breakfast buffet, they must be good. Breakfast consists of a hot and cold buffet. Hot includes fried eggs (made to order) bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes sausages (not like English, more like hot dogs) button mushrooms, toast etc. Cold includes various cold meats and cheeses, olives, fruit salad, yoghurt breads etc, cereals, tea or coffee.
When you check in you will get a voucher from the desk for your swimming pool towels. Plenty of deckchairs and sunshades available so no need to save your place early. Staff are friendly and pleased to help you (so far).Watch out for the cats, very friendly. We decided to eat at the poolside restaurant rather than downtown to the harbour in paphos. I ordered "English" fish and chips and my wife ordered caesars salad. What I got was 2 overcooked what looked like birdseye fish portions and not bad French fries.
My wife got a big bowl of Greek salad minus the feta and olives with chicken and bacon pieces sprinkled with grated not flaked parmesan cheese and an obnoxious so called caesars salad dressing. When I raised the issue with the manager all I got was " this is what we do here". NOT GOOD ENOUGH..
After this incident I have to drop this to 3STAR and thats pushing it.
