Charged a system that was already over charged. (By his own admission) Ridiculous bill that was not properly explained before the work took place. One cheap part replaced and look at the bill.

I would just like to share my experience with Alltech services, Inc.

We had our AC unit break a month ago and we reached out to a number of different vendors to see about getting a replacement. Alltech, sales rep Luis Machado, immediately separated themselves from other HVAC companies. Luis provided frank and straight forward talk on HVAC systems providing us with a great deal of education on system specs/considerations for HVAC replacement. Some of the other companies we tried working with attempted to use opaque sales tactics to secure the order and we felt it best to work with a vendor that we had developed an amount of trust with. Alltech worked with us on getting our needs met regarding a new system, and provided short term solutions while we waited for order fulfillment (refill of R22). We were really happy with the service/interaction we had with Luis and highly recommend him for anyone exploring HVAC replacement. One of the other attractive features of Alltech is that they offer an installation audit where a different installation rep comes by to check the work that the installation performed. Given the large dollar value involved and significant review comments found on the web around bad HVAC installations, this was a significant selling point for me.

On installation, Gerson and his teammate showed up and performed the work in a relatively short time frame. Gerson also took a significant amount of time to explain certain dynamics of the system and answer any questions we had about the installation. Overall, it was a really painless experience around the install (other than not having AC during it) and we barely noticed the installation team even while me and my girlfriend were working remotely in the other rooms on the same floor.

It has been around 3 weeks and we have been really satisfied with the Trane unit, installation job, and service provided by Alltech services. Hope this review helps out anyone looking for companies to use and obviously I will be using these folks for any future jobs/work i might have.

I will update this over the next couple of months should we experience issues with the unit or installation.

Today, Vihn D. from AllTech visited my home due to A/C unit leaking water in the basement. I cannot begin to tell you about the great service that I received. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgable about his job. He explained every phase of the work to me and recommended the appropriate services to remedy the problem. He worked efficiently and came fully prepared. I would not hesitate to have him back in the future. In fact, I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their A/C or heating unit serviced. I've had many repairs over the years, but this was by far less complicated. Thanks so much!

Had my AC go out on me this past summer during the hottest weeks of July. All of the companies I called said it would take them at least a week just to try and track down my specific AC unit for my condo building plus an additional 1-2 weeks to get it and install it. So I gave All Tech services a call and they were able to get a new unit ordered and installed within a week and a half. Not only were their prices and customer service the best, but I also found that the whole staff working on my job were extremely knowledgeable about their trade. Definitely a trustworthy business as well as very customer service oriented and I will continue to recommend them to my friends, family as well as all the customers at my business.

I have used Alltech services a number of times for plumbing services, with good results. This review is for the latest service for HVAC service. Alltech Services did not arrive for the first scheduled appointment. No call or followup. I suspect the scheduler who took the call got distracted and didn't complete the appointment. I called back and rescheduled for another day. The technician called before the appointment that he was available to come early, which was good. The service was for seasonal tune-up of our two heating systems, one natural gas and the other a heat pump system. The tune-up is advertised to be inspection, adjustment, and cleaning. The tech was very respectful and efficient. He found an issue with the pilot igniter in the natural gas system. He removed the igniter and tested it, showing me the results, which showed the igniter had low continuity and might fail soon. It's a $10-$20 part. To replace the part was $330. Or to put the original back in was $0. No extra labor and only the cost of the part, should not be $330. He also mentioned that the blower fan needed to be cleaned. I asked if that wasn't included included in the seasonal tune-up price. No, it was apparently just a check of systems, no cleaning. The 15 minute cleaning was $280. The system checks were performed satisfactorily. But at $610 more than expected.

Mathew was on time, very friendly and professional, and had our new 75-gal. water heater installed and up and running in about three hours. I m a relatively new customer and have purchased their service plan. Their fleet of trucks are relatively new and very professional looking with attractive paint and logo, clean, and well organized. That just adds to my confidence level. Mat hauled away all the junk and left my basement as clean as when he got here. No surprises. I like this company.

Had water heater replaced and a joint was leaking from the area that they replaced. Did not cover under warranty and said it wasn't there work. It was clearly their workmanship since you can see the color difference in the old CPVC Pipe. Also wanted $600 dollars just to fix. Recommend getting a 2nd quote

I have been using AllTech Services for many years ... practically since the company started. They provide amazing and honest service, they are prompt, and they know how to treat their customers. I highly recommend AllTech! Jay Stewart provided my most recent service, and he did an awesome job. Ask for him to service your AC/heating units! He was very professional, explained the issues and, most importantly, fixed them.

Rarely have I had such a pleasurable experience being told I needed to spend a lot of money. Had a leaking old heat pump with cracked coils and Jay came right out on a Saturday and gave us our options and lots of good information. It all checked out with what I already knew as a Realtor about these units, so I know he wasn't making things up. And we also knew it was near the end of its life anyway. Jay was very honest, informative and friendly.
Coincidentally, I needed AllTech Services for another AC unit the day prior for a rental townhouse I manage. Vinh came out and solved the problem within 15 minutes. He was also informative and not pushy.
So glad to have AllTech Services to rely on when things go wrong with our AC, heating and plumbing!

We thought we might have an issue with one of our traps as their was a small odor in our basement. Jake and Mike took their time checking all of the traps and so forth. All of the traps were fine and the plumbing all looked good. But although I had not mentioned that I was recently seeing signs of mice in my home, they noticed there were mice droppings in the basement and asked me if I recently had an exterinator coe through as it could be a dead mouse. I was impressed by their thorough searching of the basement to where they were able to find mouse droppings by the water heater. I'm glad nothing is wrong with my traps, but now I have an exterminator coming to deal with the mice. Thanks guys.

As promised according to our contract the heater tune up was done at no charge. The technician was very nice when I asked him to replace the filters he gladly did it at no charge again ( I provided the filters)

This is our first heating maintenance for our new system with AllTech. The technician, Jason Reifsnyder, did an excellent job with the maintenance care. He explained what he did to our system thoroughly. We are pleased with our new system and all the services we have received from AllTech. We highly recommend this company for their transparency, thoroughness, and full report of the services completed via email for our records.

The HVAC technicians were good. The back office staff was not. We were diagnosed on Monday, it took till Friday to get the part and get it installed. Turned out we had another problem and needed another part. Called following Monday for status and was told there was no status and they would let us know when the part came in. We called the distributor and they had the part locally and should have been able to pick it up same day. I called back and cancelled because they couldn t give me any updates. Within 5 minutes I received a call back, they said there was a mix up and they did have the part and could come the next day to install. I did not believe that is was a mix up, I was being put off. They put a manager on the phone who immediately treated me like an irate customer, which I wasn t, I was talking on Bluetooth in a soft top Jeep, she told me I needed to calm down and not yell at her. So I told them again that a didn t want them back, trust was broken. Will never use or recommend them again. The company they bought out, ADCO, was excellent, technicians had drivers that would go pick up parts during the repair and have everything done in one visit, guess those days are over. Will find someone else to do the work and recommend you do the same unless you want to be without heat or AC while they figure out how to get parts they should be able to get same day.

Update: Went down into my crawl space to find my HVAC blower motor cover and control board cover both left off with the screws laying on top and in the HVAC blower area. Worse yet, the power was left switched on and the thermostat turned to cool and fan to the on position continuing to send power through a faulty control board. Glad I checked. This find has turned this into an all around bad job.

Had an electrical issue with my Carrier AC unit (less than 5 yrs old) had a junior tech show up from a competitor who could not resolve the issue and did not charge me for the diagnosis. Call another HVAC repair who said it was a bad circuit board and without calling Carrier to check if parts were under warranty went out and fetched a new circuit board and gave me an outrageous price for the replacement. I did not agree as I called Carrier Enterprise and confirmed the part was covered. Finally, I found AllTech on Yelp. Stewart was very helpful, he came by and quickly found out it was a bad contact outside , replaced the part and I signed up for the Total Home Care program. Very professional and honest. Thanks again.

Zach is clearly very knowledgeable and effective in diagnostics and repair. He was professional, polite, accommodating and quick. We also appreciated his keeping on a mask, social distancing and friendly answering questions.

A great company to help you with hvac.

I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. They tried to charge my parents a ridiculous amount of money, $18000. After wisely getting another professional's opinion, the work needed only cost $400. When AllTech came to inspect the house the worker said he needed a specialist opinion and luckily his coworker just so happened to be around the corner. In ten minutes the "specialist" showed up and quoted the insane amount for the repairs. This was 100% a scam. I see a lot of positive reviews and I am thinking they might prey on the elderly who possibly do not post online or question their criminal pricing. Additionally, the specialist showed my mother photos of black mold that was taken from a different house. Inspecting the site ourselves and with another professional. Black mold was not present. This is creepy, unprofessional, and disgusting. I will never recommend AllTech to anyone. Be careful with this company.

I called AllTech on a Friday afternoon because my upstairs AC went out. I was hoping I wouldn t have to wait the whole weekend to get it fixed and thankfully I did not. They were able to schedule an appointment for later that day. Vinny showed up with one goal in mind and he wasn t leaving until he successfully got my AC working. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in no time. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Vinny is an amazing technician! Thank you AllTech and Vinny!

I had a very positive experience with AllTech Services, Inc. Friendly office folks, to a friendly super helpful technician Victor that was able to figure out a solution to my odd AC filter size.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT. Josh and Heou were both con artists. The company has NO integrity. They took advantage of a desperate family in need of AC. They conned us into an unneeded brand new system that broke 2 hours after they left installation. We had to have another company come out and the ONLY issue was they never hooked up the thermostat when they did the install. Heou tried to sell us an additional $2,000 worth of unnecessary parts, he also talked bad about the whole company and it s employees to us. and went above and beyond to help us. We have a young baby, and Josh brought us a portable unit to keep us cool over night. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I am super happy with the service professionals at AllTech. I have used different companies in the past and been disappointed with them. AllTech has impressed me every time. Josh came out today to do a FREE check up on a furnace and AC I had installed 6 months ago. He listened to all my concerns and addressed them quickly. I was so impressed that the same quality and care for my satisfaction I saw from the salesman, Jack, through the installation, continued in the service department. I highly recommend this company!

I have had phenomenal experiences with AllTech for plumbing projects-Greg Halsey is absolutely wonderful- but today I had an exceptional level of service from Victor Robinson who installed The Air Scrubber by Aerus to our HVAC system and also installed A water sensor/alarm on our water heater. Victor is punctual, professional, personable, polite, and patient with all of my questions regarding the benefits of the Air Scrubber. I simply cannot day enough good about the responsiveness, accessibility, and professionalism of this company and the technicians I have met. We are absolutely thrilled! Victor was Covid considerate and also mindful of keeping our hardwoods clean with his shoe coverings. I truly appreciate the respect AllTech always shows for our health and our property.

Recently had a brand new HVAC unit installed in my new home. The crew was very professional and knowledgable on the products. They took care to make sure that they didn't damage the home when installing as well. Finally, when the second (smaller) thermostat was installed, there was a very small blemish in the finish. One of the installers brought this up to me (without me saying anything) and said he noted the defect. A new thermostat was ordered and was replaced during the quality inspection. Cannot be happier. On 18 June 2019 AllTech HVAC expert Jay Stewart provided amazing customer service to rapidly repair my Trane heat pump/AC system. After getting home from a Potomac River fishing trip around 1:00pm I discovered my AC unit had shut down. It was a hot day and our home was already getting hot. This was a danger to my mother in law who is in her 80's and also my lab Lucas. I called AllTech and explained the situation and was impressed the empathy shown by the nice lady I spoke with. She immediately found a HVAC technician Jay Stewart who amazingly came over within an hour after I called. When Jay arrived he was friendly, calm and confident. He quickly diagnosed the problem (The moisture sensor had shut the system down due to coil wrap falling off.) This required climbing into our very hot attic on a very hot day. I already had a service agreement with AllTech and Jay checked all areas of the system and replaced the air filter which was dirty. Jay did such a super job that I decided to upgrade our yearly maintenance contract to include plumbing. I want to personally thank Jay and the entire AllTech team for their rapid response and amazing customer service. AllTech is a great company and their customer service is the best I have ever seen. Frank Davis provided exemplary service to our family today.We had a day-before-travel emergency, with water on the utility room floor. It seemed to be the hot water heater. Frank came promptly, and did careful trouble shooting, refusing to jump to conclusions, finally discovering that it was a small tank in the humidifier system that had a bad o-ring. The o-ring apparently allowed water to escape when the system was hot and pressurized. This water then escaped and dripped onto the floor. Frank fixed it and tested it. A lesser talent might have jumped on the water heater, which looked to be the culprit and the real, more insidious problem could remained and have worsened over our 14-day trip. We can now travel in peace. We are always delighted to have Frank be our serviceman. He is efficient, effective and courteous. Please extend our most sincere thanks to him.

AllTech bought out Adco which was my previous service provider, who I thought was great. If this level of service continues it looks like AllTech will be providing the same level of service I learned to love with Adco.

Jason R came out to do our Spring AC inspection, and he was great. He explained everything in a clear way, including showing me photos of the systems, which he had already taken. He definitely knows his stuff and can explain it to someone who does not.

I have to say that I am very impressed with AllTech. They installed a full Trane HVAC system with a humidifier as well as two gas lines for my grill and fire pit. I received 4 bids for the work and was extremely impressed with Jack Posey, the sales technician as well as Greg Halsey the gas line plumber who is fantastic! I would recommend them highly! David/Jacob Higgins and Wilmer Guerrero stayed late after a full day to finish the HVAC install to make sure everything was perfectly installed. A big shout out to Kenny Gilyard and J.R Kerns for there skill with the gas line installs.

Agnes arranged a quick look at my A/C unit which was conducted by Henry. Henry arrived on time and was professional in his business providing me with the root of the problem. I do hope to do business with the company but even after discounts the prices are just too high.

Craig was on time, professional and thorough in the heating maintenance assessment. He identified and replaced a serious safety issue with an arcing outdoor disconnect box and replaced the solenoid in the malfunctioning house humidifier. He explained issues clearly and made recommendations where needed. Great service!

I should have written this long ago. I bought my first condo in 2013 with an HVAC unit that was older than thought. Alltech came out to do a service the first spring we were in the condo and informed me that the unit was really aged, that I'd probably need a new one sooner rather than later, and that the coolant was now super expensive. They didn't up their price for the coolant, and did a great job.

Over the next 4.5 years they helped me limp that system along until a new one could be afforded. There was never any pressure to upgrade, always polite, on time, and truthful about my systems needs. The one time I had to use another company in a late night emergency situation and the bungled the job, Alltech came in the following day, fixed the mess left by the other company and didn't charge a thing.

Jason our tech from Alltech Svcs. did a great & thorough job of inspecting our HVAC equipment, was on time and very courteous. He's a credit to the company and wish all of our other svc. providers were as good!

This was our annual HVAC and humidifier check. Henry was very knowledgeable about the check points. He also helped us adjust our dampers to have warmer air flow.

I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism of Jason R, Victor R, and Kaylin G. All Tech is and of itself a highly professional and well run business that I wholeheartedly Recommend to everyone. But these three individuals, I must separately acknowledge for their dedication and service. They were receptive To me when I detailed my concern, and they went out of their way to explain everything that was happening and would happen in resolving my problem. As far as I am concerned, I will never use another company other than All Tech And I am definitely going to ask for these three people specifically.

Josh and Jack were professionals, they both understand and were able to explain the details about HVAC systems. Jack was able to help me make an entire HVAC purchase the same day he did the estimate.

Had a follow up with Jay from All Tech Services. Jay did a great job on the fall maintenance for the HVAC. He found an defect in a warranty part and scheduled a follow up for the part to be installed. Jay also noted that a back panel had not been installed; Jay installed the back panel and gave me tips on how to better maintain my HVAC system. Thanks Jay!

AllTech pulled my family out of the fire! It was Friday afternoon going into the heatwave weekend. We had called other folks and only AllTech was able to come out the next day. It got up to 87 degrees in the house, and it was near 100 outside. Victor showed up the next afternoon, and after some looking at our system was able to diagnose and repair the issue. We roasted in our home Friday evening and Saturday, but from Sunday on cool AC was flowing! Thank you Victor and AllTech for saving us from a few more days when the next company would have been free. Great company, excellent, technician, and we'll use them again!

10/05/19 Update:
After our last AC failure we had to admit the old system was about done, and with the change to refrigerant the costs could skyrocket. We requested pricing from multiple vendors and Jack P. from AllTech was hands down the most knowledgeable as well as honest and considered in his offered options. Did he suggest the super top end, most expensive? He didn t. He explained it would likely never reach its full potential for efficiency due to our ducting and the realities of our house layout. He helped us pick a system that met our needs and balanced as well as it could against cost. We selected AllTech on the basis of comparison as well as how Jack went about his task, his inspection was in depth and took time and his own technical review to complete and it showed. Next we worked with Gina in Customer Service to get scheduled and i was surprised how easy it was to get such a big (to us at least) job ready to go. AllTech helped us coordinate financing which couldn t have been easier and was with a reputable bank. The following week the crew led by Jose and with Wilmer and a few others who s name I missed. They demoed the existing system and installed everything brand new. Everything! New ducts in the mechanical, new drip pans, sensors, drains, everything. It was all done very neatly and organized. To speak to customer care the new outdoor units are a good bit bigger, and to fit them the crew had to dig up a few plants (5 I think) in our yard. They did so in a very careful way so that we could replant them elsewhere. It was a small thing but very considerate. All install team members were polite, and very careful with shoe covers even with a lot of in and out. The whole thing was done in a day, a long day but a day. Jack followed up as he said he would and let me know they d identified an issue related to our water heater that he didn t like the look of. He said he was going to have a crew come out and get it sorted out. It wasn t until Greg H. and his tech were here that I knew how much of a save AllTech had done for me. Our expansion tank was unsupported, and though the install was less than 6 months old it was starting to sag. Add in more than a few questionable pipe joins, and a missing cutoff valve and I was VERY thankful. Finally Jay S. came out and performed a very in depth quality assurance check, inspecting ALL of the work, answering all of our questions, and helping us understand the operation and maintenance of our system. With the service we ve gotten from AllTech we feel confident that we have an exceptional heating, air conditioning, and plumbing company in our corner.

TL:DR - Awesome HVAC company and Plumbers too. Call them, you won t regret it.

Long review - I am the sort of customer that dreads calling in a technician. Not because I have the skills - I don't - but because most HVAC or plumbing techs seem sketchy. They are clearly interested more on upselling then fixing the problem and have left me feeling like I need a shower after meeting them. I am very happy to report that was NOT the case with AllTech and especially the tech we had. He was on time (actually a few minutes early), professional, clear and took every appropriate step to protect my property, my health, and himself. He did not do the hard up-sale (but did make some suggestions on things down the road we could think of) and solved our problem for more than a fair price. Highly recommend!
