As with others, I completely agree... they are the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. And I am reviewing from the standpoint of being hit by a driver that has this insurance. During the beginning of the claim process, the customer service representative, Cheryl Whitman, responded quickly. However, once I submitted the receipt for the rental car insurance, she reduced it because she felt it was out of the normal range for reimbursement. Her email to me stated that the car needed to me "comparable and within reason" to what I am driving. Not clear language and gives her the opportunity to reject half of the cost. I am filing with the California Insurance Commission and the Better Business Bureau. Anyone who reads this should do the same.
