Both of my children took classes at the Alliance Francaise of Los Angeles for many years. They always had excellent teachers, learned a great deal, and were always happy to go to these classes. I have also attended many cultural events at the Alliance over the years, from movies to art lectures. The Alliance brings a lovely and unpretentious French touch to everything it does (including wine and cheese at just about every event:-) in a conveniently located, and simple yet stylish setting. Everything is just top notch. Highly recommend.

Richard Sudar is one of the finest criminal attorneys in Los Angeles and has dealt with every type of case in every criminal court in L.A. and the Valley. I'm currently enrolled in Intermediate American and look forward to class every Tuesday. I took American for three years in college but I was worried I was starting to forget too much and wanted to brush up on my speaking skills.

Excellent French lessons for teens. I ve been going here for several years now. I found the receptionists desk to be generally unhelpful in getting things done, but besides that, I love the place and the classes.

Teachers are very patient and good at explaining the topics being studied. Everyone is given pretty much the same amount of individual attention. You read out loud, do exercises in class and at home, write, work on grammar, understanding and interpreting literary works and their authors, etc. Great training.
