Neat theatre, but has small capacity for its location and compared to others nearby.

I love this cinema it does everything I need as in watching movies. And its so close to home.
I was a little hesitant to go back to the movies, but rest assured that the Beach Cinemas takes safety very seriously. The seats are assigned and there are staff members ensuring everyone is at their designated seat. They note down the occupied seats at the start of the movie so they know which ones to deep clean for the next showing.
The previews include COVID etiquette and explain how to exit the theatre distanced and with all your garbage taken with you.
Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go back in the near future.
Great Value for Money.
Clean and Quiet Theatre.
I've never been disappointed with the experience here.
Watching the movie Dunkirk , first time at this movie house , seems clean and quiet. Hopefully the film's good
Cozy family theatre reminiscent of Market Cinema. Lobby is spacious with an oddly placed children's party room. Service moderate but quick with their limited selection. Local area can cater to food variety.
What a pretty and small-ish movie theatre. I love it!
Cheap films and a clean Theatre. I've been coming here for a long time and it's always worth it!
Great movies and great place to watch latest movies
Love this theater, become a member and get free parking and discounts on entrance and munchies! My friends will come out this way from Mississauga as it's just at the end of the Garider practicality. Quick in and quick out.
Well other then the obvious which is the 6 screen theatre showing Hollywood movies and special programming, there is a Party room for children. As well on Tuesday they have a half-price movie night. Prices for food is rather steep so go to Harveys to eat before you watch that movie you've been dying to see.
Great theater, usually great staff, glad there's a theater other than the big one.
Such a cute spot to go to.
Tickets are 12.50 (tax included)
A large beverage and large popcorn are around 16$(tax included)
Went on a Friday night and it was busy so go early if you want a good seat. Didn't buy anything from the concession stand so I can't review that experience. The seating was a bit tight, but overall felt like most other theatres.
Parking near the theatre. There's a bus route too. Tickets are reasonably priced. The seats are comfy.
First time here, and first time at the movies for our daughter. Great little theatre which wasn't too busy at all. Popcorn was fresh and service was friendly. The bathrooms are a little rough and didn't see an accessible stall in the men's at all which is disappointing. That's the only reason this place loses a star from me. Looking forward to trying it during warmer weather for the garage door patio and maybe a more adult movie for a parents night out.
It's convenient for location near my home but otherwise it's an average location.
Love this place... $2.00 Tuesdays just like the 80's - & they have frozen yogurt!!!
Friendly staff, not packed, and great theatre. Not the grandest, but good Cineplex standard. It only has 5 theatres, but that's nice since it isn't going to be rammed all the time.
Excellent movie theater in Leslieville/The Beaches. The location is off the Toronto's main venues, however this is a good deal for who's a movie theater goer - the place is often not busy at all (I even got one room for myself on a winter night).
The infrastructure is new and modern, with comfy seats, good screen, and excellent sound.
They usually play mainstream or blockbuster movies.
The snaks (popcorn) and drinks are pricey, so I recommend bringing your own.
PS. On Tuesday tickets are half price!
Small and a bit older than other cinemas, but not busy like them.
Dispite being on the Cineplex website/app and all of their posters/marketing materials having Cineplex logos this theater is apparently "not a Cineplex". Came here with my family and tried to use a few Cineplex gift cards but was laughed at and told that I should have checked the website/app and I would have seen that it says "not Cineplex" (it doesn't).
It's a good theatre. Not usually busy early in the afternoons on weekends so it's a good time to see movies.
I like this theater, its my go to on the east end. The only thing is, its ridiculously tiny so they don't have a great selection of movies playing at any given time
This is a small theater but still nice for the beaches area.
I love this theatre! It's never too busy and the screens are a great size.
Great place to catch a rlick. It's cheap and uncrowded.
They never have any movies here for kids! Everytime my son is interested in a movie they never have it at this theater and we have to go elsewhere and I don't like going downtown. Sonic the hedgehog is coming out February 14th and they won't be showing that movie here either!!
Front dialogue audio for The Revenant was unintelligible (sounded "out of phase"). Staff were notified 3 times by different viewers. Nothing was done for the whole film. A refund was very resistantly given after multiple groups insisted (Staff didn't think it was that bad).
one of the most memorable experiences - for the right price!
Whole place is licensed which is nice. Almost never super busy which is also nice
Good clean cinema. Free parking if you know which lot to park in.
If they somehow switch to a Cineplex to allow scene points, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Lovely theatre. If you go a lot, get a membership. You get the cheap tickets on Wednesdays (in addition to the cheap Tuesday tickets for everyone). You also get a discount on their concession items.
I love going here, especially since it's close to me.
I love this place! Small theatre with great picture quality and sound. They rent out the party room for kids parties at a VERY reasonable rate - and help you every step of the way. The staff here is amazing, friendly, and gives all the amenities of the bigger theatres (arcade, party room, Starbucks etc) with less of the wait and the charm of a smaller theatre. We would go to this theatre even if it weren't within walking distance of our home.
The local Cinema! Never really very busy, which suits me quite well. Small number of screens, but adequate capacity. Waiting area has indoor and outdoor seating, with a fine concession stand; party room nestled within. A membership can be had for a reasonable fee, pays for itself in a small number of discounted movies and free parking.
All in all, a great neighborhood Cinema.
Really happy with the place considering all the competition that has
The Cineplex monopoly means that this place now sucks. Short staffed and unable to keep up with demand on a Saturday night. Any small town vibes it had before are dead.
Great local multi-screen theatre. All stadium style seating from what I've seen.
Friendly staff and great location. I love visiting this area for a date night with a movie and dinner.
My favorite location to watch movies. I have a membership and get free parking. Services is always good. I only wish they accepted Cinipex cift cards.
My favorite movie theater. Not crowded and got even better now being Cineplex.
Kinda local , easy to get there and park, nice big screens a few arcades and not overcrowded. Great cinema
Really good neighborhood movie theatre. Nice and quiet, no crowds even on a Friday night. We re in the neighborhood, great to find a theatre within walking distance. Smaller and not as many choices plus a little grimy but food and tickets are slight cheaper to compensate.
Always a good experience...free street parking too!!
Great staff clean theaters and a Starbucks in the lobby, also had both my children's birthday parties there they really go above and beyond and very responsibly priced.
Good location for movies accross from the liquor store and harvrys/swiss chalet
Clean (not all theatres are!), good staff, and good prices, as well as within easy reach of the TTC.
I work here, so I might be a bit biased! Nice, calm movie theatre that isn't packed to the brim constantly. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the popcorn is great!!
Starting to show a bit of age but usually clean and staff are always friendly.
Clean, not too busy and easily accessible by TTC This theatre is also located close to the park, beach and walking trails. Just East of the theatre is a playground where you can kill some time before your show or take the kids afterwards to burn off some energy. There is a party room that you can rent for kids birthday parties as well as a standard but small video arcade. Theatre has free Wi-Fi and serve alcoholic beverages. There is parking available behind the theatre for those who choose to drive.
Like it here cuz it's not very busy, you can watch a movie with maybe 6 other people in the whole theatre.
I have a membership so movies are relatively cheap. There are good restaurants nearby where you can get a discount with your membership card. It can be busy at times. Parking is free in a nearby parking lot. Be warned that this parking lot for Alliance members is getting junked in with vehicles parked there on a more permanent basis. Go early, parking is starting to get hard to find - especially on weekends.
Good theatre for locals to watch movies. Much less crowded compared to bigger theatres such as Scotiabank.
Great movie experience .. it's just missing a IMax theatre
I've been coming here since I was a teenager and it is my go to cinema. Small but good and the staff is super nice. Lots of parking as well but on the streetcar line as well.
Lovely ambience not crowded normally compared to popular down town cinemas
Awesome theatre and polite staff. Not very crowded. Does not have imax
Arcade kept breaking down. Had kids with me and got disappointed, was hoping for the full experience
I love taking my two girls to this cinema-it's a wonderful tradition. I can't believe they are closing - what a shame! We don't have another nearby. Sad to lose a great spot.
Way better than Cineplex. Big screens and nice sound. Frogurt and Starbucks. Walk down to the beach after the movie.
No free parking! Fairly strange for the east end. Small theatre but good viewing experience.
Hands down the most friendly and informative staff. I recommend becoming a member, the discounts are so worth it!
The Beach Cinemas is right beside an Lcbo so it's perfect for grabbing some drinks on your way home if you plan on having a glass of wine after your date but inside they also offer alcohol and VIP rooms which some locations are still missing. The place is rather small and there is a horse betting centre right beside it with alot of smokers so i don't recommend hanging around too close to that just outside the CInema if it's late out because it doesn't feel safe. If you're looking for parking then you can park right along the side street or at the back there is a parking lot where you can pay to stay for pretty cheap. If You're looking for something to eat afterwards than there is a Harvey's and a pizza place nearby and a coffeetime just down the street.
Perfect neighbourhood cinema. Gets most of the movies and I have always been able to get a good seat when showing up just before movie starts. Now serves alcohol, which is a plus.
