Rooms were nice for what i needed. As a business traveler i was frustrated with the internet speed and availability as well as its location in a permit only street. The breakfast was good. The other meals were a bit overpriced and some of the staff seemed to be often offended and stuck up regardless of how polite i was. I definitely didnt feel welcome when my colleagues and i were asked to move from the bar seating area to the restaurant area, away from local travelers, when we tried to sit together at lunch on our last day. It felt like our business attire and presence was not up to the standards.

We got problems in our room and they immediately changed it. Service is perfect

I visited the AllegroItalia Golden SPA and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff really delightful and knowledgeable. We went to the lobby of the Golden Palace to request information and here too we were received with courtesy and professionalism. The environment is very modern and inviting, you are sure to stay in a hotel room! In addition, the structure is located in the center, near Piazza Solferino. All perfect.

I try to call to ask for information on an object forgotten in the room, but to talk to someone is an adventure. The responder presents you with a choice of about 7 options, with incredible slowness. None of these concern the reception, so I await the end, waiting to speak with the first available whatever operator. Three minutes of ringing pass, no one answers. I call after 5 minutes asking to speak with the reservations office, choice 1 of the automatic answering machine, and finally someone answers me who tells me he is from the reception. But in your opinion, if someone calls for a lost item, can they ever think they need to talk to reservations?

Another problem, on the site there is not adequate information on access to the ZTL where the hotel is located.

In the heart of Turin, a good and luxurious 4-star hotel has a spa, gym area, very well-kept rooms, works perfectly, hot water, air conditioning, breakfast is fantastic and the lounges are very comfortable.

A few years ago this hotel was one of the best in Turin.

Unfortunately, since becoming an Allegroitalia, it has lost all of its luster.

If the services of the hotel remain more or less the same, the general atmosphere has become really cheap.

At one time, this hotel offered a cozy atmosphere. Now it is quite the opposite. Loud or even vulgar marketing.

The superior rooms have remained the same, ie comfortable and spacious. I don't really like the family format of products like hand soap, however.

The hotel bar (Time bar) is no longer as welcoming as before with this new arrangement of furniture.

The staff as a whole are attentive and friendly.

The hotel is very well placed for exploring the city center.

I also appreciated that a vespa for rent was available to explore the surroundings.

Hotel right in the center. Very lively and frequented also by external people because of music, restaurant etc.
I was not very satisfied with the hygiene of the room, in particular the bathtub (see photo). Furthermore, the absence of sockets near the bed is inconceivable in a hotel of this level.
The room, and in particular the bathroom (standard) are not large.
At this price it is better.

Great hotel, really nice with any comfort. Also excellent is the Spa with sauna, turkish bath, steam shower and swimming pool with hydromassage and waterfalls. Breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and savory, fruit and juices. Comfortable room, bathroom with tub, possibility of using water heater, tea and coffee tea, mini-bar.

Optimal position to visit the symbolic places of Turin with your own legs; very quiet rooms. Adequate service and courtesy. It is easy to meet well-known people (in my case Zambrotta, Higuain, Boschi, the Senegalese minister).

Let's talk about the SPA:
We went today 1/30/2029, me and my wife. The turkish bath was under maintenance (for weeks) and we were not notified at the time of booking or at the entrance where you pay before entering. The water in the pool / whirlpool was cold and there was the plumber who repaired something by making noises in the relaxation area ... finally, the plumber with his nice dirty work shoes went back and forth in the SPA. All of this was obviously pointed out and we asked to speak to a manager but we were not considered in the least. Professionalism equal to zero !! Don't go there are other SPAs by far better.
If anyone from the Golden wants to contact us anyway .... you have our references.

Not really good! It's expensive comparing to the hotels in the area. Nothing special... Internet service is very bad in the hotel, rooms are small and full of mosquitoes.
You have to pay every small thing with this hotel, nothing complementary... Find another cheaper hotel around it and it will be with the same services.
Ps.. The reception do not speak flaunt English only Italian and it's very bad for communication.. As a tourist you need to know only Italian

Luxury hotel...well managed...clean room...recommendable!!

The palace is only in the name! In many details in particular. However, the place is very pleasant, spacious room, outside terrace of the quiet restaurant. The lovely staff. The opening hours of the spa are inappropriate for a tourist stay from 10 am to 6 pm. To enjoy it, you have to either leave late or come home very early! Good food in the restaurant, again the staff are attentive.
The hotel's must-have ... its breakfast buffet! Extra-ordinary, there is something for everyone, even includes a buffet of cold cuts and cheeses by the cut!

All smoke, no roast. Unfortunately I pay in advance to be sure of a suite (they did not show them to me because they were occupied ), when my family arrived after 20 days the room was NOT a suite as described on the website. I repeatedly tried to contact the manager to whom I had paid directly ... But nothing to do, only sad consolation I left the water from the minibar to pay .... how sad. All appearance but little substance. To take the elevator to the rooms you have to go through a shop ALWAYS empty of customers, most of the new customers wander around in search of the elevator because there is not even a shred of indication. Not recommended!

Excellent structure a stone's throw from the central station. The only drawback is the parking lot, if you use the hotel one (stratospheric cost) you risk having to wait even more than 20 minutes to get the car. The room was ok but from a 5 star I expect more. The minibar price list was missing (it was necessary to call the reception to find out the prices) and also even though I wasn't there to see the TV, and I'm not saying to expect sky in a 5-star hotel, but 20 channels and they couldn't be seen at all well.
Furthermore, the reception at the reception needs improvement.

I took a room with spa and dinner included, but I was definitely disappointed, the environment is very nice and refined, which contrasts greatly with a small room and so unprovided that I never thought there could be in such a starred hotel, I found more comfortable motel rooms. Nice spa, but still very small, which weighs heavily when guests are looking for a minimum of relaxation and intimacy, impossible to find in such a confined environment.
