This is my second Disney resort, the first being the pop-century. It seems that this resort was similar but seemed to be missing a lot of the art and theme that you get from the pop-century. The rooms here seem to be getting kind of dated it gives me the feeling that a refresh is warranted.
The best place to stay! The cake reapers are so underrated!
Such a quiet and affordable resort area! We stay at this music resort every time we visit Disney. Only drawback is that there is no microwave in the rooms and there are no luggage carts at the actual hotel room buildings, but both are available at the lobby nearby.
I recently stayed at this Resort. It was clean when we first got in. But once we got to stay there that night we realized that there was some downs about this resort. For starters people were up until all hours of the night screaming and yelling. Also people were in the pool until 10 at night, when it closed. Another down about this resort was that across from our room there was a bunch of renovation work going on. Also our room was supposed to be rock n roll theme but the shower curtain was Jass themed. During the day it got
Hot in our room so I went over to the thermostat and tried to turn the temperature down, but the thermostat wouldn t go down any farther then 68 degrees, and at the food court they only have like 5 choices to pick from for drinks. Another thing that is bad about this resort is that the people next-door kept slamming the doors all around the clock. So that concludes my stay at the all star music resort.
Good service, clean areas, but room are a little tight.
Good place yo stay and go to all Disney and universal parks
Location is great for Disney you get all the transportation for the parks makes your life allot easier especially when your with the whole family, although it is on the classic end of the spectrum it definately needs more upgrades the beds and baths could use an upgrade but since you came for the parks rather than to sleep the cost effectiveness is OK your paying on the low end to have all the Disney perks
Fantastic hotel and stay even though this is meant to be the budget hotel! Immaculately clean throughout and all staff are very friendly and helpful! We came over from the UK and will definitely be coming back!
We took are grandson there for his third birthday. We had set up to gave the party package delivered to our room the first night we were there. The hotel said they would have the cake,balloons etc we had ordered ready when we returned that evening. My daughter checked several times throughout the day to see if it had been set up. The first couple of calls we were told it wasn't. Then they couldn't find our stuff at all. At 10 pm they informed us it had been delivered to another room and they would not be able to get another order before we left. They did try to compensateus the next day with some freebies but it was not worth the stress.
Also the suite we had was outdated. Old furniture,the tub leaked,and the tv didn't work. Would not stay again.
Everyone is really nice the rooms are decent not all that special.
Beautiful resort but rooms need to be a bit bigger.
Great for a quick stay but if you're looking for high quality check another option.
It's a lovely hotel and a lovely pool the bed is really comfortable
The room needs to be updated. There was profanity written on the door to the adjoining room. When contacted no one came to investigate the complaint. Staff was friendly but these are truly budget hotels.

Good for sleeping and showering. Full size beds. Inexpensive but clean and comfortable. We stay often and like it. We'll be trying ASMovies soon. Front desk is busy but cast members are friendly. One not so good thing, the remote control was gross,yuck. Yes I put it in a bag! UPDATE-we came for another visit in June 2019 and had a wonderful stay! Room was upgraded and very clean and fresh. We were very happy and pleased with the entire stay! Awesome cast members, helpful and friendly! Looking forward to our next visit!
Got a family suite at the All Star Music for our trip to Walt Disney World. The room was clean and ready to go when we got to the resort after our flight in. We got situated in the Calypso building. The room was clean and quiet even while there were a large number of dancers staying there for a national competition. The front desk staff were all bright and cheerful and so we're the housekeeping and food court staff (which was a huge contrast to the awful staff at Pop Century for our emergency night stay). Without a doubt, if I was planning a trip to Disney World again, I would have absolutely no issues staying at this hotel again.
Absolutely wonderful! It was very quiet which was great after a whole day on your feet, the pool was warm and inviting and the food was far more delicious than I expected. All the staff were friendly and helpful!!
Out dated bathroom, dirty carpet in room ,feels like a motel. ..the staff was friendly

Great resort at the value level. Had a couple issues with the room, but they were handled quickly and I was compensated appropriately.
Food not good, room wasnt cleaned. It was not the most comfortable place on earth.
This is my first time staying at a value resort. The rooms are adequate for why I'm here ( a race weekend with a friend) but could not imagine staying with my family for a vacation. It is very cozy!
I have ten and I really enjoyed it very much, Disney hotels are very good, even squirrels were seen and on the last day the people in the lobby did karaoke ... BEAUTIFUL. I was amazed.

This is definitely the Disney equivalent of a motel or the nearby Seralgo. Even though the room was most likely very clean something about the yellowed lighting and odd smell coming from the bathroom gave it an unclean feeling. In addition, unlike the other Disney resorts that I have stayed at the bus times are not listed anywhere and it takes forever for any bus that isn't going to Magic Kingdom or Epcot to come. The pools are interesting until you compare them to the theming at the nearby All-Star Sports.
The check in process was a breeze. They even gladly stored our baggage until our check in time so that we could visit the park. The online check in process really makes the entire ordeal easier and eliminates the need to stand in queue. The rooms were very cleanly made. All the necessary items like soaps, towels, tea, coffee etc., were already in place. Couple of minor quirks make this a 4* rating instead of 5. The TV in the living room won't work. The doors to the bathroom and the bedroom are very hard to close. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay, with good amenities (including a big swimming pool & a food court).

They overcharge on everything (example-over $5 for a 2 liter bottle of soda) shuttle bus service to parks and back is horrible with wait times up to two hours before you get on a bus to get back to your resort
We went to dinner with some friends who were staying. The manager came to our table and chatted with us very kindly. He even brought a courtesy cupcake later to our friend's daughter, who was about to turn years during that week. Magical experience

Disney magic in its purest form. The stay here with the entrance to the parks is essential. It's not the most luxurious in the world, but it's worth it
Before we ever arrived I used the Disney app and made sure we could go directly to the parks before checking in. I was told yes. We got to the park and was sent to another line to get our tickets activated since we hadn t checked in yet. We weren t able to use our dining plan (which we weren t told) until we checked in so the whole first day we had to pay for all our food and snacks granted they did rectify this situation.. they sent us to the wrong room the first time. Middle of the week we built droids and light sabers and charged it to our room (big mistake). I was told all charges would come out when we checked out. Later Wednesday night I happened to check my account and noticed that the droids and light saber charge were already pending from my account. Thursday I asked a guest relation expert if we d be charged a second time for the droids and light saber when we left Friday. They said no that it was just a pending hold. Friday while we were on our way home I check my account and notice that I was charged the total room charge of $700+ which included the droids and light saber in that amount. So I called Disney resort they said they released the holds on the droids and light saber and it s up to my bank. I call my bank and they don t know anything and said if Disney could fax them something showing they released the holds they could let the money go back in. I called Disney back they said they can t fax anything since they had already released the holds electronically and it could took up to 7 business days to go back in.. (I was not told anything about any of this when booking my room). So I let it go knowing that my money would be back Monday the following week after the holds fell off. I check my checking account on Sunday the 15th and they have charged me A SECOND TIME for the same amount of the $700+ total room charge. I called the hotel and nobody can tell me anything. They tell me to call back on Monday during the guest relations business hours. This has been the worst experience of my life. My droids and light saber were nearly $600 so they ve basically charged me 3 different times and nobody knows anything. I do not recommend this hotel for the customer service. The food was fine, pools were nice and clean, rooms were appropriate. Customer service was terrible and first impressions last a lifetime. This was my first and last time to Disney ever.

Nice resort. Comfy beds, excellent showers, and the swimming pools are top notch. Great transportation to and from parks too.
I love staying at these Disney hotels - you get the Disney experience at an affordable price. I always try my best to stay here or the Pop Century resort. Love all the themes/pools/attractions!
This location is very easy on the budget. The resort is clean and has the basic amenities. Effective March 2018, the resort does charge a $13/night overnight parking fee.
We asked for a room close to the front and first floor due to a medical issue and having to walk the very long distance. We were given a 2nd floor room in what seems like the furthest building away. Had to use Uber twice just to get anywhere and have had difficulties with the location as well. We were told they could move us, only after unpacking and settling in while trying to leave for a park.
Otherwise, the resort is fairly standard for being a value place. Clean and nice, with super hot water. No canopy over the bus stop though, which is a minor issue that seems just overlooked and to be an annoyance.

The room was quiet and very clean. Was able to park close by. Our room was a bit of a walk to the bus but not too bad. Bathroom is very tiny hard to close the door. But great price value.
The resort is getting a little dated. The decor and amenities are definitely about 20 years behind the times. On the other hand I came here to spend my time at the parks, so it's just good enough I suppose.
Update: The beds are being their useful like, and in need of replacement. We feel like we're sleeping in a divot. Also, The AC needs some work. We all have sore throats whenever we go back to the room. Not ideal.
Nice place to unwind after days after the park,we we're in a preferred room in the jazz inn section, comfortable beds, friendly staff. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is our shower wouldn't fully pull up to get all the pressure to go thru and it dripping all night. But it really was a nice room and wounderful hotel.food Court had nice choice's..
I called the hotel at 2:30 to see when my room would be ready, as 3 is check in time. The woman whom answered the phone said check in is at 3, it'll be ready by then. I asked if she could look up my name and give me an estimate. She huffed and said I'm going to transfer you. In mid sentence I was transferred over. After waiting a few minutes I had arrived at the hotel. So I just went to check in. The pleasant woman at the front desk let us know the room was ready and gave us all the info we needed. The next morning we went for breakfast at the resort food court. I ordered and was given a buzzard. After a 10 minute wait, the buzzard went off. I assumed since we had waited 10 minutes, we'd get good and fresh food. That was not the case, I ordered a chicken body and my biscuit was hard as a rock and the chicken was not hot and very dry. I went to the line and let them know I'd like to switch it out as I could not eat it. I was not offered a fresh meal, I was brought right to the register and was told to scan my magic band. A refund was given, the woman did not apologize and was very dry, she seemed upset. The pool was nice, the dj and cast members hosting at the pool were amazing and the house keeping who brought us extra towels and pillows were pleasant. But other than that I could not say anything good about this our stay. Very disappointed. We come yearly to a Disney resort for my daughters birthday, but we will not be back. It was not magical for us and I could not believe how many rude cast members we encountered. Not a good environment for children.

Waited over an hour after check in time for room to be cleaned. Room appeared to be hurriedly cleaned (popcorn in floor, no toilet paper in room. etc). Will not be staying at this location again.

Outdated rooms and decor but for the price and a room that we didn't stay in very often it was fine.

We stayed in the Family suites at Disney's All Star Music and the room is nice and spacious. We stayed in Calypso. This location is great: close to Disney Transportation and the main lobby area. Three is daily house keeping...which is very nice. The small kitchenette is more than adequate to do small meals in the room. Our room was right next to the main pool.

Just did a quick overnighter getting there late and being pass holders we didnt get to enjoy anything extra but the check in process for just us took forever, or seemed that way. After 45 min they took care of an issue with one of our bracelets that wasnt our fault and added fast passes in addition to our current ones so all wasnt that bad. The rooms are fine just remember the value resorts slam you in the face with disney theming, it is not a break from the parks with their decor.
