Alima: Providing Medical Assistance in Africa

In partnership with the Ministry of Health , they have established primary healthcare centers across several regions which provide basic medical services including maternal child health care . They have also supported training programs for community health workers who play an important role in delivering preventive care at the grassroots level .

Another example is their work during Ebola outbreak responses . During the West African Ebola epidemic from 2014-2016 which claimed over 11 thousand lives across Guinea,Liberia,and Sierra Leone ; ALIMA was one among many organizations responding rapidly deploying staffs from different parts around world setting up treatment centers providing life-saving treatments while ensuring safety protocols were followed strictly .
