Alhambra Dinner Theatre Review

We went to the Ariel show, and it was AWESOME! The singing was great! If it was just the show alone it would get 5 stars easy. However, the show is the only reason this review doesn't get a 1 star. If there were some way to split the rating I would give the show a 5 star and the food a minus 5. The food was HORRIBLE. Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever eaten that I actually paid for. The whole meal was disappointing. The best thing about the meal was the bread. The appitizer of soup (clam chowder) was very chef boyardi-esk with an overabundance of tomato sauce. The the meals spaghetti with meatballs was salty and over cooked, shrimps and leeks was okay, but the vegetables were not. The dessert of brownie and cupcake were just... bad. An MRE (that's right, as in the military's Meal Ready to Eat) pound cake would be how I woukd describe the cupcake, but the MRE is better. The brownie was like tasting a Little Debbie brownie. I actually flipped it over just to verify it wasn't a Little Debbie.

Great experience, talented performers, good meal. Will attend again and often.

This is either the oldest or one of the oldest dinner theaters in the US. Food is really good and you have 3-4 options each performance for your entree. Drinks are reasonable and they have a great Sangria. Acoustics are good too.

Good food, fun shows. If it had a little more elbow room it would be a 5 star place.

We've been coming to the Alhambra since June,1972. It only gets better. We were there Sunday, Aug.18,2019 for Mama Mia. We have never enjoyed a show so much. Such awesome talent ...it was wonderful. Thank u for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment.

Dinner was great, and the show was hilarious! It was my first time there, but it definitely won't be my last.

I have season tickets and love the shows and like the food. The menu changes with every show so it doesn't get repetitive.

Really nice dinner theater, well arranged and great food and the service is the best. You have to go.

A local fave and institution. Delish dinner theater. Very family friendly, too. Menu changes and is themed based on the show.

We went to the Alhambra Dinner Theater to see The Best of The Eagles. What a show!!..They were on Top.! Just unbelievable!.
The food was absolutely delicious.

My first time ever going to such an amazing place, everyone and everything was Amazing.

Have been multiple times to see shows. Most recently we saw Elf. It was a great show. Food was very good. Enjoy going with the family.

Awesome show but the food is too fancy for me and there was a small hair on my dessert plate, which they replaced quickly. The photographer, she will not tell you the price until after she takes the pics.

Went here with my grandmother, to see Elf this last Christmas season 2019! AHmazing! Food awesome, good service, nice venue and the show was Memorable and something I'd watch again and again

My visit to Alhambra was good. I had not been there in quite some time. I actually introduced it to a friend from Savannah, GA.

The only improvement needed is more space at the table. For a large man it is tight. I'm only 5'3" and I could hv used more leg room. I kept bumping the guest behind me too.

The show and the red snapper meal were great! I tried sugar-free vanilla ice cream for the first time. It was good as well. A nice couple shared our table.

Seated at C-12 A& B. The reservationist said a 'slight turn to the right' was needed to see the stage. I beg to differ. I hv the sore neck to prove it. That was kind of misleading.

This place is amazing. A hidden gem. They really made my moms birthday special. And I love the fact you can customize your meal.

I have seen many shows at the Alhambra. I have never had a bad meal or experience. The staff is top notch! Jekyll and Hyde was spectacular with a cast worthy of Broadway!

Food is good show is better. The service this night was. Far below par. Forgot many items and messed up the order for everyone but me

Went to see 3 guys named Moe great show and the food was delish and the drinks are worth the money. Will definitely return.

We went to the Alhambra for the first time on Tuesday to see Murder among friends. We greatly enjoyed the experience. Our seats were teriffic and the production very well done. Our biggest surprise was the quality of the food. This is not usually as well done at similar venues. Our first course of Potato leek soup was wonderful. The strawberry shortcake and bannana pudding cake were delicious. The only crticism is that the knives provided on the table were not adequate for cutting the excellent prime rib. Please provide the proper steak type knife to those who order this beautifully prepared beef.

I came with with my husband to celebrate our 2 years Wedding Anniversary. We booked the ticket online and mentioned that we are their for our anniversary to see if they could make us feel special. But we found that that we would have to pay alot extra for the anniversary package that comes with champagne and a rose, so we opted out because the tickets were already expensive enough.
Upon arrival, they greeted us at the door and marked our reservation names. W walked to the bar to check out the historical decorations which were pretty cool. All of the guests dressed mostly formal and it was very crowded that Tuesday night.
We ordered quails and steak dish. They brought out the wrong item so they told us to keep the third plate so that was a pleasant mistake because the quails we're perfectly seasoned and cooked.
The musical performance was phenomenal although it was a bit long and I was getting sleepy towards the end of the night. But all in all, I enjoyed my dining experience alot and would recommend this place.

Went for our first time tonight , celebrating our anniversary , and let me tell you ... It was AMAZING. The food was some of the BEST food I've ever had, the drinks were fast and delicious, service was on point & the performance .... OUTSTANDING! I cannot wait to go back!

What a wonderful, intimate dinner and entertainment venue! Well worth the ticket price for a quality show and excellent dinner. The staff was attentive and friendly and the acting was superb, we will definitely go back to the Alhambra Theater!

What a beautiful place, I enjoyed the live theater most. The seating is a little packed for me. Overall awesome.

We have gone a few times this year. The food is good overall, but a few things keep it from being great. The plays have been wonderful. Our service was excellent each time. We look forward to going again soon.

Very good show tonight. I enjoyed Ain't Misbehavin' even though I'm not a musical fan. Great energy & very talented actors who can really sing & dance. The food was good but the show was better!

I went to see Beauty and the Beast with a friend on Sunday afternoon and the experience was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff was very courteous. The show was fantastic with great performers and a lot of fun! I will definitely be returning to the Alhambra for more great entertainment and service, and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good show!

Great food great shows, but make sure you get there early or they run out of food. I missed out on one side and a dessert because they were out by the time we ordered.

Went to a few shows last season and bought season tickets for next year. The food is always delicious and the shows were better than I thought they would be in a theater that size. The tables are really close together but not to uncomfortable. It is definitely worth the price of the ticket. Oh, and the tip is not included so bring cash.

4 stars. Good food, nice service, and a great show. Only complaint was stale tasting whipped cream on the dessert.

Generally good food, almost always great entertainment, hard to beat it for a fun night out... and it won't break the bank for all that you get.

The food was good and play was very entertaining. I highly recommend them for both food and play.

Saw Godspell and I would give the story 5 stars, the food 4 stars, good service and two thumbs down for the political injection into an otherwise wonderful performance

Amazing place! I have taken the family to see two shows and each of them have been fantastic. The food and service are top notch and the performers are so talented. Theater holds around 400 I think

We had an absolutely wonderful experience seeing a Christmas Carole. The food was delicious AND abundant, and the service was fantastic. You're treated like royalty all evening, and for how excellent the view is (we were right next to the stage) you really do feel like royalty. I don't think there's such thing as a bad seat in the house here, but I definitely recommend the tables closest to the stage for a really amazing up-close-and-personal experience! Holy moly. The cast was so, so talented, and the costuming/makeup was great (and I was close enough to see that very well, trust me). I highly recommend it, and will most certainly be back at least a couple times a year! What a great find.

We had an amazing time! The staff is super friendly and helpful , the food is delicious (3 course meal), and the live performance is fantastic. If you haven't been its a must do event.
