Victor - run a fine shop and I was glad I purchased my bikes here years ago.
I still have the bikes and they have never let me or my family down.
I have (2) Wildwood models I believe 21 speeds and a beach cruiser very happy with my selections!
Great experience today!! Went in and needed riding shorts and a big man's riding shirt! Great service and they even let me borrow a pump to fill my tire!!
Worst place to get repairs done took my front tire there to just put tube in all he had to do put tube in front tire charged 32.00 for it and put new strip in with out my concent and charged me for it he over charges for everything and I wouldn t record taking your bike there !!!!

Had my bike there and didn't do any of the requested work. The staff was unhelpful and didn't seem to care about what I wanted. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

Purchased my beach cruiser here a couple years ago. Had a huge selection of bikes to choose from and picked a Nirve beach cruiser...quality bike at a fair price. Victor is one of the most knowledgeable bike sellers on the island. He has a large amount of top quality bike supplies and accessories all at a fair price.. I ride my bike on the boards, in the street and on the sand and Victor services my bike to keep it like brand new despite the salt and sand that effects any island bike...He is friendly, personable and fair.. Algies bike shop is a gem of a shop that the locals have known and trusted for years and the only bike shop my friends and I ever go to or will ever need to go to.
They took forever to fix my bike. Every time I called or went in, I was assured it would be ready within a couple of days. It ended up taking a couple of weeks. HOWEVER, they were super nice and apologetic in the end so I'm still a fan!
Bought a bike at Algies Place back in 1994. Super great guy then and now. Great service, sales and parts. Quick fix or a tune up this is your spot.
I brought in an electric bike (I bought online) that got damaged in shipping to me, to be fixed. Algies gave me a much better impression on the phone compared to Zippy's, so I had them do the work to get the bike fixed. The bike turned out great! The guy from the store was very nice and unphased by the fact it was electric. He went above our expectations and even greased the seat with a product that helps against rust from the salt air. I highly recommend using this bike shop!
I went there to see if the handle bars on my bicycle could be adjusted. The bolt was to tight to loosen myself. Victor loosened the bolt, adjusted the handle bars and evne gave me some history about my bike. This place is the greatest.
