Plenty of study spots and reading material, but can use more power outlets and can get quite noisey between 6pm-12am, especially during exam periods.

The staff are friendly, there area many services like faxing, copying, scanning, book binding, and vending machines. The building is very nice, clean and well lit.
Quiet comfortable and they have many tables and spaces to study, on the Internet for visitors we get very fast, but it is also a cozy and excellent space for free. I loved it. It only lacks a cafeteria with different products
I loved this place. This library is best among all the Rutgers University library. There is ample sitting space. There is huge collection of books on general topics. Its very quite place so we can easly focus on the things we doing. The collection here is like ocean. Theres restroom on each of the floor. And vibe is very positive here. I am reading few art collection. And eventually ended up finding new facts about Manhattan ( this is my personal experience, and it worked really well for me).
The oldest and largest library on the NB campus is often crowded with students studying (or pretending to study) but also has a sizable archive of government documents, old textbooks, maps, academic journals, and East Asian literature.
Between the hours of 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. a valid Rutgers ID is required to enter or remain in the library.
Go to the Annex for some quiet, un-bothered study time. Otherwise you'll be distracted by all the other people coming and going and playing their music too loud. A great library though, all the books you could want!
Great library! I like using SPSS on the computers in the graduate computer lab. The keyboards are very nice there and don't have any hard to press keys.
Beware of going here during finals time...it can get packed.
Just next to the place where I have classes. Nice place.
Gets the job done. First floor is modern, well kept but gets busy. The stacks of the upper floors need a revamp, and have few outlets. However, it's convenient and offers ample study space, with some decent views
Much more modern compared to other libraries on other campuses
Quiet & spacious. I never have a hard time finding somewhere to study.
A great place for a retiree to stop by and read books from shelves.Wifi is also avaiable to guest, which is a great gift to the tax payers in New Jersey. Many thanks to this great library.
Remember, heat rises.
Please cool down the top floors
Quiet place and easy to access. A nice building. Would recommend to any Rutgers student who wants to study peacefully without any noise even during COVID.
Great people watching. Get there before the sleeping locals or you will not find a seat.
Nice building, but the stacks where it is quite are so hot all the time!! Its ridiculous!! Can we atleast get windows that open! I like the livingson library much better.
This is the noisiest library I ve ever seen. Spent a full day here during the finals week and I only was able to fully concentrate and study from 2 to 9 Am. Other than that, This library was so noisy and annoying. I changed my location at least 8 times. Once a group of people were sitting around a table and were talking which made to move to somewhere else. Another time, a girl was talking to his phone on FaceTime and at the same time, she was smoking an e-cigarette! I moved again! Another time a group of people were just laughing so loud for a long time. Next time, there was a guy next to me was listening to music on his headphones but it was loud enough to distract people around himself( have no idea why he came to library if he wanted to listen to music). I just saw 3 people were smoking e-cigarettes in front of me that day. I know they don t have enough consideration and are there to socialize( probably can t find a better place) but I expect library staff do something. There were many people that day couldn't study because of this mess. There was a girl that she was talking for 3 straight hours to 4-5 different people at the library. So many people come here to socialize or pretend that they are studying . Whoever is running this library is doing horrible. This place is the worst place if you wanna study. I went all over the library, I even went to basement but it was still noisy. They don t even provide a portion of library for people that wanna study in a quiet place.
