I never knew this place even existed, but was excited when given the chance to see a play there. The rendition of A Christmas Carol I thought was going to be cheesy turned into an unexpected miracle of joy and was fun. I love live theater and have loved it for many years ever since high school when I got to be a set person. The set was one piece and I never expected to see clowns in A Christmas Carol but was pleasantly surprised to do so. Thank you Albuquerque Little Theatre for an unexpected glorious time.

I often perform at this theatre as well as attend productions. Community theatre with a professional feel. Great for a night out, most shows great for kids, and not as expensive as broadway.

This venue is a gem. It is an intimate and comfortable venue for 7-8 local theater productions with a mixture of dramas, comedies and musicals. They are working on many improvements to the venue. The talent is surprisingly good.

This is a community gem, entering its 80th season or something around that. They put on so many shows every year, with community members, young and old. It's always so much fun to spend an evening or afternoon at the ABQ Little Theatre!

Watching Shrek The Music here made me wonder what ...

Watching Shrek The Music here made me wonder what Shrek's [Outskirts O' 'Burque] family would say about his newfound ogre love at the next family reunion.

[TIA SHREK]: Mi hitoo, ju know that I love you no matta what, and I will aalways love you. But ssitoo... You gotta realize that thaaat seenging 'n daansing cheeck's your Somehow Cousin..! Shhttshht -- don't ask me how I know these thing, I cannot -- *belch* -- but I know she 'ss by hher looking's you! Hahh haa! Don't worryy, mi hito man.. Ogre wants what orge 'antss... Tio knowss...

[TIO SHREK crushes and eats his odd smelling cigarette, adjusts his oxygen tank valve, and manages a breathless cackle before returning his distant gaze to the horizon or something else melancholy enough to make you stop reading this drollery and potentially incestious fanfic. Shame on you... And shame on me... Shame... ].

Here's a lovely gem! This is the third oldest continuously operational theater this side of the Mississippi. That's 89 years! The seats are comfy and I'm usually worried about that at 2m (6'3"). There's ample room for knees and the armroom is generous. Nearby dining makes a show into an entire evening. Ticket prices are far too low and the quality of the productions are comparably above average. Bring your friends to a fabulous time that everyone will thoroughly enjoy.

Great theater, nice old place. Bathrooms need updating but they are working on that. Vivian Vance's Emmy is in a case in the lobby. Her main role was Ethel Mertz on I Love Lucy. Productions there are excellent.

So disappointed we missed the last Sunday Mary Poppins performance. We called on Friday because my 13yo daughter and I were unsuccessful buying tickets online. The message on the machine said we'd get a call back, we tried again Saturday, still no response.. (it's Tuesday and too late but still no one has returned the calls.)
I've never attended a performance here in Abq but i imagine it was great. And Mary Popins is a family favorite.. If yall could better man the customer service thatd be super. If i had this issue im sure I'm not the only one.

Saw Shrek, The Musical at the ALT. Pretty good performance in an great historical theater. They are working their way through upgrades but the building is still 90+ years old so it has some expected problems (can get warm if you have a full house).

We saw It's a wonderful Life. Great performance! However if anyone has seen the the movie, they'd know that the play would not be a great pmace to bring small children. I know even my 9 year old wouldn't be the best audience. Fortunatly, the patrons with small children quickly learned and left the audience. But, what a waste of money, seats and time. FYI....
