Albuquerque Ambulance sent two highly qualified personnel to our facility to pickup a patient for transport. They said she needed to be transported to Pres Downtown. We already arranged for her to be sent to Rust. There was a mistake in the way it was dispatched. They weren't supposed to go that far but they got approval. Going to extra mile (literally) they made it happen. Thanks Alb Ambulance!!!

In September of 2015 I had occasion to call 911 to request an ambulance. I was experiencing nausea, cold sweats, and extreme shortness of breath. After driving approx 9
miles out of the way they delivered me to the ER at Presbyterian. On triage it was noted that my Oxygen saturation was 79! I have coronary artery disease as well as copd and Polycythemia vera. I called for an ambulance because I felt I could be having a heart attack
I received a bill for their service for over 900 dollars! My insurance has denied payment stating that diagnosis code used was for.
nospecific problem and that my oxygen saturation level was 98 percent on room air
which is totally incorrect.

I might add that for $900 I could have flown round trip to South America.

I am an emergency medical technician from Boston and the level of medical professionalism and medical knowledge is amazing the work ethic is none that I have ever seen before. The level of care that they have makes some of the best experienced emergency medical services companies in Boston look like a bunch of rookies. The citizens of Albuquerque New Mexico are lucky to have a great emergency medical services company in the city for medical services in closing the paramedics should also be commended for their outstanding medical treatment to the citizens of Albuquerque to pre -hospital to hospital care.

Went in February for breathing difficulties. So unprofessional and antagonistic. They guy kept asking me the same question from the fire department. I asked why he was being so mean. Dr told me to go yet they told me I should not go. The heath delivery system is so harsh in Albuquerque. Note care is missing. It s really good I did not take Lyft or Uber because I was diagnosed with RSV (Respiratory Sycincial Virus) at the ER. I would have hated to give it to driver. The 2 female ambulance drivers were so mean saying I should not have come in. They asked me how often this happened. I said never.. I was told to go per the doctor yet they told me I should not be there. Thick bloody cough and nasal secretions and trouble breathing. Guess I will have to take Lyft or Uber to the ER. If I need to go.

After a minor fender bender I was FORCED by Albuquerque Ambulance Services and Police to be transported to Kaseman over calling my wife who was only a few blocks away. Ambulance service was DECLINED 3 times yet FORCED to accept transportation. I am now faced with a FORCED invoice in excess of the ER fees. I have called over half a dozen time in attempts at having this resolved. Albuquerque Ambulance is still expecting payment after dispute was filed directly and with BBB. All reasonable approaches thus far have been "Dispute declined". I feel it is unreasonable to expect payment for a service that was;
1. Unnecessary
2. Unneeded
3. Declined

Fact that I was FORCED into the Ambulance short of escalating the situation to forcefully services has thus far been ignored. The honest and ethical path forward is to write off the invoice. Question remains if Albuquerque Ambulance is an honest and ethical group. Experience thus far indicates otherwise.

Now 1/18/14 ABQ Ambulance is seeking to collect by impacting my personal credit rating. This outfit is flat out fraudulent and contributed towards me loosing my job. I will be seeking legal consultation seeking compensation.

I honestly feel I received virtually no care and was charged a lot for what little care I received. The person was much more interested in my personal information than actually doing something for me.

Today I witnessed some more first responders. The person they were transporting was in pain with a fractured tibia. The three employees of Albuq. Ambulance (Presby) were Brandon, Mary, and a person in training, I believed, named Mechaelia.
The family of the person being transported was there and noticeably distress as they watch a loved one in pain. It can be very stressful and overwhelming.
The members of AA calmly went about there job with a flow that helped the family know that their relative is in good hands and on the road to recovery.
I take a lot of pride and put a lot of effort in letting people have a positive experience in my line of work. I am very aware of this effort outside of my job which is why I wanted to leave this review.
Albuquerque is a great city to live and a proud native. Thank you to the 3 Amigos of AA as your patience and professional is appreciated.
